I live on the north edge of Kansas City in MO, not far from Leavenworth, KS. But because we "share" airspace with you across state lines, we got a lot of those misleading ads on TV. It was obvious there was A LOT of money behind this aggressive campaign. The pro-a******nist groups were prepared, well funded, well organized, and ready to pounce immediately. Very sad how that works. The claims that the "v**ers of KS have spoken" are misleading at best. I do not believe the majority of Kansans want this. I wish you luck in fighting it. I suspect we will have similar issues in MO at some point.

Just remember there has been violence on both sides of the issue, and violence and/or threats of violence are never the answer. Whether it is in the form of burning a******n clinics or property damage and arson at pro-life clinics ... or a U.S. Senator standing on the steps of the Supreme Court building issuing threats and calling out specific Justices to target, or a pro-a******nist zealot driving all the way from CA to Maryland fully prepared and equipped to kidnap and k**l Justice Kavanaugh after the Justices were doxxed by other pro-a******nist zealots. There are--and always will be--extremists on both sides of controversial issues who will choose to commit, or attempt to commit, violence when they can't win the argument otherwise.

Pro-lifers worked for decades, legally, through the courts and through legislation, to get what they considered a wrong-minded decision overturned and send the decision back to the states and into the hands of the people of each state where it belongs. NOT for wealthy donors in large coastal cities and pro-a******n advocates in DC and elsewhere OUTSIDE those states to move from state to state using their money and power to influence v**ers, with lies and misinformation, to v**e their way until every state in the union goes along with them. This is what happened in KS. Putting it in the hands of the people of the state and then basically taking it out of their hands by flooding the airwaves, the internet, and every other method they can think of to drown out the voices of the citizens in that state is pretty much what happened. And this should be a hard lesson for citizens in other more conservative states to prepare for in coming e******ns.

I guess democrat privilege allows you to live in fantasy land. Just decide what you want to be and how much money you want to make and go for it .. without putting in the work. Yup. Sounds about right.

It has been reported that the leak came from the wh because slojoe didn't want to poke the bear by having a high level official visit Taiwan. Also, nancy going instead of him makes him look weak. But his hopes of discouraging her by leaking it simply ended up making it imperative for her not to back down.

It wasn't necessary for her to travel there to make such a deal. If it had been, then slojoe and wh officials would not have discouraged her visit.

It was an ego trip. If it had been a statement about America's commitment to Taiwan ... that we stand with them ... it would have been appropriate to take a bipartisan group of representatives. But nancy wanted to make her own statement. IOW it was all about nancy. Wouldn't be surprised if they had to add an extra cargo plane to take her ego along with her.

To answer your question, it wasn't a good idea to originally plan to go because it wasn't necessary. But once her planned visit got "leaked" to the press, then she had to go.

Pass the National Right to Work Act to end forced membership in labor unions, just for starters.
Arrest the Clintons for treason.
Shut down Common Core and the entire US Department of Education for covering up Karl Marx's r****t role in the Confederacy during the Civil War.

I totally agree with all of those!! And, yes, I am tired of being lied to. Politicians lie. It's what they do. I don't see an end to it.

If there is any hope at all of a thorough investigation without a predetermined outcome, appointing an independent counsel would be it.
