We have not invaded a country in this hemisphere since the War of 1814. That is you don't count the countries in Latin America whose leadership was anything but democratic, and under the guise of American policy known as the Monroe Doctrine. There are a few others. With all that said, I can name a lot more negative history about the Soviet Leaders, especially Stalin. The fact still remains that the US is a super power and nations of the world look to us for protection. The facts also say that Putin can not be taken at his word, just ask the people of the Ukraine. There is no reason to adapt a more friendly behavior towards Russia until he changes the behavior of Russian aggressive force!

Who did you teach it to, and when?

I am talking about America in the present. I know American history, probably better than you, SW.

The nations of the world are no longer looking to the US for protection. Where have you been for the last few years?

I'm done talking to you. You seem not to want to know what's happening in the world. I suggest, if you want to improve your mind, read the topics I've created. I find that your mind is too little to absorb the great events now going on in the world. Like most Americans.

No stuttering amongst the entrails, I suppose.

Carol, I believe that you have a small problem with reality. Putin, in everything I have read about, and know about is a thug. He has used armed force against several former USSR republics. He put legitimate businessmen in prison and grabbed their assets, He has allied himself with some of the worst, and most abusive dictatorships in the world. He challenges the US every chance he gets, and for no reason I can think of. Please inform us about what a great, democratic leader Putin is. I will try to understand you.The latest, Ukraine , is merely the latest and most threatening to Western Europe and the former unwilling members of the USSR.

I just did inform you about Putin. About what a great leader he is. He represents a great country.

I don't think I need to inform you about what an evil leader Ovomit is. This is the leader that represents America? What does that tell you about the American people?

I could tell you more about me, or about me and Vlad, but you really wouldn't want to believe that either. But heads of state around the world know it, and know who I am.

Did you forget who I am, Salt?

One thing I am, is that, like Paul Atreides, I know when someone means what they say.

Hard for an American to realize or even recognize that there could be a country even better (now) than they are. Your mind is closed to that reality. Your reality is America, my country right or wrong. Well, America is very very wrong. The Marching Morons elected morons to lead them, and now that's where America is.

I am infuriated with America, and with Americans like yourself, who believe that America is always right, and every other country is wrong. Wanna see World War III? Just keep those beliefs in your head.

I also wonder whether those high moral achievers registering their disapproval have similar feelings about the thousands and thousands slaughtered in the name of Islam? No one has a dream of k*****g innocents like our present day muslim k**lers. For instance, I firmly believe not one of those pilots featured got up in the morning, suited-up, and thought, "Oh, Boy! Today I am going to k**l me some innocent civilians!". Radical muslims do.

I never quoted "world opinion".

In this case, the sympathies of the world are correct. America has damaged other countries for no good reason. America is not fighting ISIS in Syria. If they were, they would be doing so under V. Putin, for he has the knowledge and information needed to do so. Here are some other facts:

I told the Department of Defense when Obama made the decision to pull troops out of Iraq in, when was it, 2009? that he was ending one war, but setting the stage for a greater conflict.

America, under Ovomit and his administration, has created ISIS but has no idea of how to fight it. America is weak, decadent and matriarchal and cannot defeat anyone.

Our military asked me in 2014, when ISIS came barreling out of Syria into Iraq, what they could do. At that time, I suggested moving the Fifth Fleet into position in the Gulf. But I also said, don't lead the enemy to believe that Ovomit is calling the shots; he is perceived as weak by ISIS. But they did, and then I walked.

America is fighting to hold onto any prestige and leadership she once had. The American leaders do not even know where ISIS is in Syria; they claim to have data, but they do not.

America is no longer a moral country. Can you not look around you and observe that?

"Liberals" don't often use anything as proof other than their arguments. I am sure that darned few of them have any ideas about how many gun k*****gs take place as compared to k*****gs by other weapons. I am very sure that none of them really understand that we do have to register our guns today and what they want is just another chance to confiscate them. I won't give up mine without a fight and they(my guns)may be involved in that fight.

For the Left, the "t***h" is the fantasy world they have in their minds. It bears no relation to reality.

In one of my first posts on this site, almost two years ago, now, I stated that perhaps democracy wasn't for America.

I then wrote a topic called: "It's Not About V**er Rights:" http://www.onepoliticalplaza.com/t-41415-1.html

I might start another topic, along the same line, titled: "What Islam Can Teach Us", because I have found this in a tome by Al Mawardi: Ordinance for Government (c. 1058):

"The conditions required in the E*****RS are:

1. Rectitude in all respects.

2. The knowledge to recognize the required qualifications for the Imamate.

3. The discernment and wisdom to choose the candidate best suited to the Imamate, the most capable and the best informed of the conduct of public affairs." (For more on this, see my topic: "The Left Cannot Make Distinctions): http://www.onepoliticalplaza.com/t-25301-1.html

There is more, but its exposition might have to wait for a more propitious time.
