I***tic though it may seem; there are still those who refuse to accept the t***h about ISIS and similar groups. These people want to destroy everyone who does not believe as do they.

If a t*****r is found out, he or she should be shot. Period, no waiting period, and no illogical trials and appeals. Let one of these jackasses k**l your child or a loved one or a co-worker, and your tune will change.

I wish our president would say that it is time to eliminate ISIS. Not hit them until they come to the bargaining table; no, outright destroy them...period!

You know this how exactly? That's a stupid assumption. They weren't forced to take the money.

Would they still alter the data if they were doing it without pay?

Would they still be just as wrong if they were doing it without pay?

The hunger for knowledge was not created by greed,
It is merely human nature.
If someone has a secret would you not desire to find out?
No one is paying you to find out, so why do you still try?
It is because the payment is in knowledge the financial compensation is just a bonus.

You still have yet to prove they altered data.

What exactly is it you think they are wrong about, I mean they have only dev**ed the majority of their lives to exploring things but what do they know compared to some guy who read on the internet that c*****e c****e isn't real from some conservative website.

Your analogy says the same as mine - both observers have insufficient information to come to firm conclusions.

What we do know from more recent and easily observable history is that the expanded use of energy has increased both the quality and quantity of life. Further, the lowest cost energy sources remain, at this time, to be carbon based. We also know that efforts to increase the cost of carbon based energy will decrease the overall standard of living for those who are subject to those increased costs. Meanwhile, if everything you say is true about g****l w*****g or c*****e c****e or wh**ever the next name will be is true, we are not on this planet alone. China and India are not subject to efforts to artificially raise the cost of carbon based energy and will use the increased cost imposed on us to further their own standards of living.

If the argument you're trying to make is:
China and India are doing it so might as well.
Then my refutation (simple yet effective to destroying the appeal to popularity logical fallacy) is as follows:
If China and India jumped off a bridge would you also jump?

Great response, the word religion ,it terrifies those who are. Atheists. Yet,in Time magazine of August 6th the religion section was about Atheist churches, springing up in the South. I bet the IRS isn't hounding their organization on what is said regarding the political climate they foster. It will be interesting, too see , how they keep their 501 status.

Yes, the word religion terrifies us. Not because it infers we are religious, but because it expresses a sense of irrationality held by people so unwilling to change their beliefs based on reality that they are trying to change reality.

Why can you not accept having a religion?

Is there a particular reason why the definition of religion must not include your system of faith?

Is it perhaps your view:

Every religion believes that they are the only real religion, but that is not true, because Socialist Batman's system of concepts he holds to be true and authoritative is what must be followed by everyone. ???

That is why you call yourself Socialist Batman. Because you intend to force your religion on everyone under the pretence of your religion, not being a "religion."
Why can you not accept having a religion? br br I... (show quote)

I'd like for you to define religion for me, because apparently I was under the false pretense that it meant the belief and worship in a deity, but apparently it means a group of people who believe the same thing.
Lets just clear this up now:

-There is a difference between my beliefs, and religious beliefs.
My beliefs are based on empirical evidence and the interpretation of reality that I experience. Religious beliefs a hard-wired to never change based on reality and consider themselves to always be right. Why do people think that scientist consider themselves to always be right? They know they are fallible which is why their hypotheses go through extensive testing and if there is no evidence to the contrary then it becomes a theory which is accepted as true. Accepting a theory as true is not faith.

What religion am I forcing on everyone?

You call yourself a socialist which means that the collectivist concept of the state as the power to be honored. Any discussion of socialism and the philosophy of the collective state will explain that quite well if you choose to read it. Do you honestly believe that people will voluntarily give up their individual rights to liberty and property so that all can be shared as a communal group, with no extra benefit for those who work hardest, but a demand that all share with those who do not work? Most of us do not choose to be s***es or serfs as socialism requires. Therefore the state must have control if not ownership of all property and that is only possible if people are forced to believe that the state is all powerful and rightous (ie god)

No, we don't get to pick and choose assignments, but generally we do pick and choose classes and parents can opt there child out of an activity if they choose to do so. You use the word "forced" as if the President was holding a gun to their head to make them sing..
In the video you posted it was children making a parody of a popular song at the time, they where not forced to do so by the teacher nor did they appear to not want to participate as you suggested.

Of course I do. I am a researcher. You obviously do not know how to read. The internet is full of data research, methodology, results, who, when, etc that now shows the earth is in a cooling cycle, that it may be premature, and that there is some worry about it.

If you are just going to repeat things that support what you want to believe...regardless of how outdated that information is...at least be honest about it.

The earth is a homeostatic organism. It tends to shift only so far in one direction before correcting back the other direction. Always shifting. Never remaining static for long. Basic science you could be aware of if you wern't so lazy as to listen to Gore et al instead of keeping current your self. I have a great great nephew who is in 4th grade. He is more current about this than you. Sad.....

You talk about burden of t***h. Do you know what that means? Let me explain something for you:

There are more than 1.000 geometeoroligists that were surveyed asking about g****l w*****g. Far less than 10% of them said they agreed with Gore. More than 90% disagreed and said there was no data supporting Gore's position. Interesting that the majority of the less than the 10% who agreed with Gore received fundng from him. 90+% said no. Bud, .....that meets burden of proof but don't take my word for it. You can google as well as I.......maybe.
Of course I do. I am a researcher. You obviousl... (show quote)

You can't make a positive claim with no evidence presented then cite the internet as evidence..
