Ricko - I'm nearing 40. My dad isa tea party andmy older brother is a Republican. My mom is a Democrat as are my 2 younger brothers from my dad's second marriage. My dad recently blocked me on Facebook because every time he put up one of his inaccurate tea party posts I would prove it to be false with fact. Then he had a friend tell me God was on the Republicans side and I lost it so he blocked me.

John - I'm a huge believer in keeping God out of politics. JESUS NEVER RAN FOR OFFICE AND STAYED OUT OF IT, WE SHOULD TOO. Being an American and being a Christian are two different things. In a country where freedom of religion was fought for, injecting God into politics doesn't make sense. And if we start allowing it, next thing you know someone with a different religion comes in and does the same.... Then what? This is one of the problems I think Republicans have in that they try to force religion down people's throats and it pushes them in the opposite direction. Another thing? People who use God or the Bible as their justification for their actions and who use the Bible as their sword to hit people in the head better be really sure they know how God thinks. I think to say that is sacrilegious and it disgusts me. People who use the Bible to tell gay people they h**e them or women who get a******ns that they are going to he'll is completely the opposite of how Jesus acted towards people when he walked the earth. He didn't call Mary a slot now did he? Another thing to consider? How many years separated the old and new Testaments? Now how many years has it been since then? If a new testament was to be written now what would it say? The old and new Testaments are so different because so much time passed between them. I think for anyone on here to say they know the words that would come from the Lord's mouth kow are likely bearing false witness. And to justify h**e with the Bible is d********g.

Reality check.

1. In general Republicans care more about money than people, and that is one reason why they are so against Obamacare.

2. The Republicans just h**e Obama, and you can speculate as to why. Even Bill O'Reilly said that if Obama cured cancer they would still h**e him.

3. Much of Obamacare is Republican ideas put into practice, like Romneycare is. Individual mandate is the main part, and they liked it when it was the Heritage House idea, and part of Romneycare.

4. When a lot of people were asked about Obamacare and the Affordable Care Act, many had a negative comments about Obamacare but were OK with the Affordable Care Act. Fox has done a good job of propaganda.

I guess I don't get you at all. We have the worst president in our nations history, and your concerned about style. Might I remind you that it was not Gov. Palin that lost the e******n. It was MaCain and his compromising with wrong. That's what lost it for them. It's high time this country got back to our core principles, of right and wrong. This country is fed up to the hilt with congress compromising with wrong. That's what got us to this point in time as it is.
Compromising is just another way to chip away at liberty

That's precisely why we have all these laws on our books.
