You know, looking back at this thread, it's kind of obvious that what it's really about is SELECTIVE h**e (really criticism). It is acceptable and correct to h**e the President of the United States and conservatives, no matter how much good they do. It is NOT acceptable to h**e (criticize) "progressives", no matter how much damage they do. In t***h, President Trump's detractors despise the way he TALKS, and ignore his actions. His actions reflect a person who is deeply patriotic and works tirelessly to strengthen our country and make life better for Americans. On the other hand, the "progressive" ideology has become almost entirely about feelings, and not results. They care about the FEELINGS of fringe groups like d**g q***ns, LBGT, women who use a******n as a form of birth control, narcissistic celebrities, inner city b****s, i*****l a***ns, etc. Etc. They appear NOT to care one whit about the FEELINGS of everyday Americans. It is ok to demonize and dehumanize the President of the United States, conservative people and people who just want opportunity and safety. I don't understand the attitude. Being a conservative myself, my attitude is if you want to be a d**g q***n, ok. If you are gay, ok. If you're in the jungle of the inner city I'll donate and do what I can do to get you out of there if you want, but if you'd rather stay (a gross simplification, but too long of a subject for this post) ok. If you want to paint your house and your body green and sit around smoking pot all day, ok. But don't expect me to embrace your lifestyles or support having it shoved down children's throats as normal. That's where the line is drawn. Live and let live. Yep. You need help? I'll give it where I can or point you in the right direction if I can't. But don't expect me to embrace what I find bizarre or repugnant and then demonize, belittle and try to take away my livelihood when I don't agree with you. This whole mindset is insane, in the truest sense of the word.

Your right, other than the fact that he makes his perceptions known when he goes on the defensive every time anything even remotely negative is said to/about him. As for what did Obama do, he turned around the recession that was dropped in his lap, that to me was his greatest accomplishment. You of course will never acknowledge that, your media sources have always told you that Obama never did anything worthwhile and as the good sheeple you are, you believe it. Perhaps if you laid off propaganda T.V./print/sites, you might be better informed.

He perceives EVERYTHING as a personal attack on him and goes on the defensive and attacks everyone that doesn't agree with his every word. please, define to me what your definition of "thick skin" is, it obviously doesn't jive with my definition.

As for your assertion that those not on the Trump ass kissing tour don't consider America as exceptional, do you even know what Trump's slogan "MAGA" stands for? Make America Great Again. Doesn't that imply that America wasn't great but that Trump will MAKE it great again? Obama's campaign Slogan was "Yes we CAN!". Trump makes derogatory statements about America and you cheer him, Obama makes a non-derogatory inspirational statement and you boo him. I don't follow your "logic" and refuse to get a lobotomy to make it make any sense.

I have a daughter and most of us have children. If they lied, acted like a bully, or did not stand up for a friend in trouble, what do we do? H**e them to make or help them change? No. We lovingly show how what they did is wrong, how their behavior actually hurts themselves and often others. We do not ignore what they did. We do not excuse it. We do not cuddle them. We confront and resolve these issues.

A public figure is somewhat different, especially one holding the highest office in our nation and the image of the Free World; an appointed model for our country's values, principles, ideals, and laws, never mind for the future of Democracy on the planet. Such a person is to rightfully be held to a higher standard. Failing to do so is failing this Republic and worldwide hopes of liberty. Any patriot, anyone who really loves America, is duty bound to hold the president to this higher standard (or some standard of decency) and demand accountability.

Many on the Right calls this true patriotism just the act of "h**ers" and dismisses it, blindly attacks it. How do they possibly excuse their duty to country to maintain, strengthen, and enhance this great nation by refusing, deflecting, and ignoring to challenge the president's confirmed lies and misdeeds and questionable policies, his mad Twitter rants that convict him of low character, and continue to think that they are true Americans?

Nigeria and other African nations have perpetrated genocides where they have persecuted thousands and even tens of thousands of people because of their racial tribe or religious beliefs. 120...that's no big thing there, and no reason to fear and h**e monger it to this country. Christians are not going to persecute muslims, and muslims are not going to persecute christians... unless christians don't start toning their religious crapola down. They could seek political asylum here but the US isn't especially welcoming to refugees.

INDIO, CA—Local woman Kristi Larson is a careful student of God's Word. She especially likes Jesus's emphasis on forgiveness, such as when the Messiah instructed Peter to forgive people 70x7 times.

Since reading that passage, Larson has kept a tally of how many times her husband, David, has left his socks on the floor instead of walking them the five feet to the hamper.

Finally, this morning, he committed the infraction for the 491st time, absolving Larson of her responsibility to forgive her husband for his annoying fault.

"Let's see, I've got to forgive him seventy times seven times, carry the one... HEY, HONEY! YOU'RE DEAD MEAT!" she cried as she realized he had exceeded the forgiveness limit. "I am now allowed to hold this against you for the rest of our lives. Ha!"

David Larson is usually a staunch proponent of interpreting the Bible literally where possible, but since this morning's incident, he has come out in favor of a metaphorical interpretation of that particular passage. "Jesus just meant forgive me forever, like a really big, unattainable number. I hope."

The husband and father is also rapidly running out of his free passes for sticking a dish in the sink without so much as a quick rinse, sources confirmed at publishing time.

The blind leading the blind here, I wouldn't thank someone who is completely in the dark and giving you misinformation, but that is what trolls do. I don't believe you know what a full-blown "socialist" is, as they don't exist in the US.
