You make your position clear...I don't know you but I understand your plight.
Things would be a lot better if this economy was not being stopped or slowed down by not providing jobs that provides revenue that pays the benefits that we use to enjoy.
The Republicans are favoring the rich to give them control in an Oligarchy controlled society.
Lets look at what they do. Don't tax the rich any more when in the past when they were taxed higher we had a more stable growing economy. They won't give out job bills, they want to profit by taking away Soc. Sec....do you think profits would go back to S.S. and if Wall St. crashed that they would pay the difference in checks to the recipient? Cutting $40,000,000,000 from food.
They now have privatized prisons subsidized by the amount of prisoners, privatised schools (if you could afford them).
They turned down going after fraud in Medicare they just wanted to cut back benefits.
They want to get rid of unemployment insurance, minimum wage, pensions and vacations. How then does anyone buy a car, a house? No job security. 430 filibusters by Sen. Mitch McConnell.
One positive item is there wouldn't be any credit cards ... how would you get credit, how could you pay them?
Supreme Court's "Citizen United", "corporations are people my friend".
If you think you would rather live under control of the rich who regard profits as their top priority and labor as a liability where do you think you would stand?

Government is broken and will remain so as long as we have politicians that think more of their pockets than they do of the country. As was said before 'government service should not be a career field.'

Your right Old School there is many problems with ACA (that are claimed) I'm retired 20 years and admit I haven't read it.
Let's say it gets repealed...what takes over...what insures those 35-40 million that won't be insured?
What has the Republican party brought forth to replace it? They have no plan except "wait until we get in office".
And if nothing may I suggest that they have talks with the funeral industry to make available vouchers for cremation.
