How is that “white minority” thing working-out in South Africa? How about Africa in general? Vast portions of Africa haven’t advanced past the Stone Age!

What has happened, in many major cities in the U.S., after white people left large areas of those cities?

Mass Shootings: A Global Concern

Although events in the U.S. tend to get the lion's share of media exposure, mass shootings are clearly a worldwide issue. The following is an alphabetized list of just some of the developed countries other than the United States that have experienced mass shootings in the past few decades: Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Finland, France, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Nigeria, Norway, the Philippines, Russia, Serbia, Spain, and Switzerland.

Does the United States have more mass shootings than other countries? It depends on the data.

Exactly how mass shootings in the U.S. compare to those in other countries is a highly disputed subject. In a widely publicized study originally released in 2015, the pro-gun nonprofit Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC) compared the annual number of mass shooting deaths per million people in the U.S. to that of Canada and several European countries from 2009 to 2015. The result? Norway led the world with 1.88 deaths per million, followed by Serbia, France, and Macedonia. Where did the U.S. rank? 11th place.

Average (Mean) Annual Death Rate per Million People from Mass Public Shootings (U.S., Canada, and Europe, 2009-2015):

Norway — 1.888
Serbia — 0.381
France — 0.347
Macedonia — 0.337
Albania — 0.206
Slovakia — 0.185
Switzerland — 0.142
Finland — 0.132
Belgium — 0.128
Czech Republic — 0.123
United States — 0.089
Austria — 0.068
Netherlands — 0.051
Canada — 0.032
England — 0.027
Germany — 0.023
Russia — 0.012
Italy — 0.009

In addition, a 2018 CRPC study ranked the U.S. at number sixty-four in the world in terms of mass shooting rates per capita.

From 1982 to 2022 - 40 years - the total number of people k**led in US mass shootings is 1,363.
(Includes school shootings)
That is an average of 34 victims per year.

In one year, from April, 2020 to April, 2021, 100,306 Americans died of drug overdose.
7100 of these deaths occurred in the 15 to 24 year age group.
Stretch that over 40 years and you have 4 million deaths,
284,000 of them in the youngest age group.

42,000 people died on US highways last year.
45,000 people committed suicide last year.
Youth and young adults ages 10-24 years account for 14% of all suicides.
14% of 45,000 is 6300.
El Salvador, Honduras, and Venezuela have the high... (show quote)

Yeh…would you rather live in any other of the 10 countries which rate better than the U.S.? Well, maybe Switzerland.

Yep….my friend read through the information that you referenced….several times. Aaaand the U.S. is really the worst for mass shootings and just regular-old shootings per million.

So here’s a brief summation of what I think would work:

#1 Known fact: if in just five major cities, the gun murders were eliminated, this country would be lower than appropriately 79 other modern countries, regarding death by guns.

#2 Known fact: gang members and other criminals are known to authorities in the aforementioned cities. ARREST THE CRIMINALS AND PUT THEM IN PRISON! If any of them used a gun during their crime….life!

#3 Known fact: the authorities DO NOT DISPLAY THE WILL TO ENFORCE EXISTING LAWS. Find out why and eliminate those authorities. This would include mayors, prosecutors, judges, police chiefs, etc. Replace these people…by appointment if necessary.

#4 Known fact: most mass murders would have been avoided if the “warning signals” had not been ignored. The infrastructure for this country’s mental health system must be rebuilt!

#5 Reinstate religion in schools (at all levels) and all other public functions. This country has lost its moral compass!

#6 Pick five more cities.

Mass shootings, like the one in Uvalde, Texas, are happening because the nation’s children are being taught to sin and raised without the respect for human life that comes from belief in God, Evangelist Jack Brewer says.

The former NFL safety-turned-evangelist said that a godless upbringing, combined with the influence of media and godless teachers, has left the minds of children – like the Uvalde shooter – confused:

“It is only God at this point. I think we are seeing a generation of children that are godless and don't have a fear of God. So, whenever you start throwing in all the complexities that kids these days face, from the media they consume to the television that they watch, the conversations that they are having now at this age and even what the schools are teaching the children are things that 10, 15, 20 years ago you would have never even thought about taught to children in school.

“So, their minds right now are confused. This child that did this horrible act was confused.”

Children grow up without respect for the lives of others, if they don’t have a relationship with God, Brewer said:

“You have to figure out how to find these children and give them the understanding of a relationship with God. If you don't wake up in the morning and say a prayer or you don't go at night and give thanks, you don't have that humility. You can lose that respect for life. And that is what is happening right now. You see children that don't respect the lives of other people and other human beings.”

“From the White House on down,” America is embracing sin, and even refusing to acknowledge its existence – and, unless we correct course, tragedies like the one in Uvalde will continue to happen, Brewer warned:

“And, right now, we are teaching our children how to sin. We are embracing sin in the United States of America, all the way from our White House on down. And, that is our issue. We don't call sin ‘sin,’ we don’t call iniquity ‘iniquity.’

“But we must learn - because, if we don't, we’re going to continue to see these tragedies.”

The Trouble With Do-Somethingism on Guns

Before we even knew how the k**ler of 19 children and two adults at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, had obtained his guns, Sen. Chris Murphy was engaging in his customary performative emotionalism on the Senate floor, literally begging Republicans to "compromise."

Compromise on what exactly? Murphy has never once offered a single proposal that would have deterred any of these mass shooters. Literally minutes after his routine, Murphy was asked about the obvious mental illness prevalent among most of these shooters. "Spare me the bulls—- about mental illness," the Connecticut senator responded, "ripping" the GOP. "We don't have any more mental illness than any other country in the world." That's how serious he is about compromise.

Whether America is more prone to mental illness or not, these incidents are almost exclusively perpetrated by young men who have exhibited serious antisocial behavior. All of them break a slew of existing laws. All of them have either obtained guns illegally, or legally before having any criminal record. In many, if not most, cases, the shooter is already on the cops' radar because he has threatened others or written insane, violent manifestos. In a study of mass shootings from 2008 to 2017, the Secret Service found that "100 percent of perpetrators showed concerning behaviors, and in 77 percent of shootings, at least one person — most often a peer — knew about their plan."

Rather than focusing on these tangible entry points for potentially useful legislation, instead of proposing ideas on better identifying shooters before they act, instead of thinking about how schools could be structurally safer, instead of debating the efficacy of putting more cops in schools — and none of these are panaceas, mind you — Senate Democrats were busy dunking on Republicans for failing to support bills that have absolutely zero to do with mass shootings.

Sen. Chuck Schumer planned to introduce H.R. 8, an expanded background check bill, and H.R. 1446, a bill that would close the alleged "Charleston Loophole" (before he realized it wouldn't be politically expedient). "Alleged" because Dylann Roof, who murdered nine black churchgoers in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2015, got a clean background check, not because of any "loophole," but because local prosecutors had failed to respond to the FBI's request for information. It was a case of human error, or negligence. So maybe Democrats should be promoting a "law-enforcement-should-do-its-job" bill.Because all "universal" background checks do is stop friends and families from gifting guns. Straw purchases are already illegal, as Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and Murphy already know. And passing expanded background checks after a school shooting is tantamount to demanding stricter drivers tests after a hit and run.

Democrats, obsessed with largely irrelevant issues like AR-15s and "universal background checks," are largely living in the early 1990s. President Joe Biden's address to the nation consisted of a litany of hackneyed talking points he's been regurgitating for decades now — including that transcendently stupid joke about deer in Kevlar. "As a nation, we have to ask, when in God's name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby?" Biden said — again.

Democrats love to hammer the strawman "gun lobby" because they don't want to openly attack tens of millions of gun owners. The National Rifle Association, whose power has significantly diminished over the past decades, could disappear tomorrow and it wouldn't alter gun policy one bit. Either another organization would emerge — probably a more rigid one — or gun owners and Second Amendment advocates (we're in the midst of the largest expansion of gun ownership in American history) would continue v****g for politicians who oppose restrictions aimed at peaceful gun ownership.

Meanwhile, Republicans will have to deal with a barrage of preposterous smears. "There is no such thing as being 'pro-life' while supporting laws that let children be shot in their schools, elders in grocery stores, worshippers in their houses of faith, survivors by abusers, or anyone in a crowded place," Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.

This was indicative of the sort of demented accusation thrown around these days. One suspects liberals who take to the internet to accuse Republicans of abetting infanticide aren't really interested in compromise. Unlike Ocasio-Cortez, who champions laws that empower people to terminate the lives of the viable unborn, I don't know of a single Republican who supports the gunning down of elementary school children.

Indeed, law-abiding Americans have no obligation to take ownership of a madman's actions. Nor is there any reason for them to surrender their right to self-defense so that Chris Murphy, who, evidenced in many of his comments, is only interested in incrementally limiting gun ownership. That's his right, of course. He should try to repeal the Second Amendment. Until then, however, Democrats interested in genuine compromise may want to offer realistic, productive and germane ideas, rather than using another horrific tragedy to dunk on their political opponents.

We all have watched over the last few months that OPP supporters are 100% behind Putin committing genocide in the Ukraine. They buy into the fact that Trump called Putin a genius. Grandmothers in grocery stores and kids slaughter in classrooms seem to be the favorite of these Trump supporters

Now it’s time to build a memorial in Washington DC with all these kids names that have been slaughtered and the memorial should be dedicated to Trump, McConnell and the Trump supporters.

It should have to be engraved as the memorial dedicated to a Republican Party that chooses to do nothing.

TX School Shooter Cut His Face with Knives, Creeped Out Co-Workers and Used BB Gun to Target Random People - Reports

The 18-year-old who massacred 19 children and two adults Tuesday at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, displayed a pattern of disturbing behaviors before carrying out the mass k*****g.

Friends and family described gunman Salvador Rolando Ramos as someone from a dysfunctional home who suffered from childhood bullying that scarred him for the rest of his life as he descended a dark spiral of violence and aggressiveness over the years.

“He was the nicest kid, the most shyest kid. He just needed to break out of his shell,” Stephen Garcia, who described himself as Ramos’ best friend in the eighth grade, told The Washington Post.

According to friends and family, schoolmates in middle school and junior high would mock Ramos’ stutter and lisp.

Ramos’ cousin Mia told the Post that she had seen for herself people bullying him for his speech impediment when they had attended middle school together in the town of 15,000 residents, where nearly one-third of people live below the poverty line, according to the U.K.’s Daily Mail.

“He wasn’t very much of a social person after being bullied for the stutter,” said Mia, who asked that her not name be used in the report. “I think he just didn’t feel comfortable anymore at school.”

“He would get bullied hard, like bullied by a lot of people,” Garcia told the Post. “Over social media, over gaming, over everything.”

During his time as Ramos’ friend, Garcia said, he would stick up for him.

But things started to take a turn for the worse after Garcia’s family moved to another part of the state, he said.

Garcia told the Post that Ramos “just started being a different person” who “kept getting worse and worse, and I don’t even know.”

He said this “different” Ramos had dropped out of school, let his hair grow long and began to wear all black and big military boots. Classmates told the Post that Ramos would not attend classes for long periods in high school.

A young woman who worked with Ramos at Wendy’s until March told The Daily Beast that although he appeared “quiet” to several others, she noticed aggressive tendencies in him.

“He would be very rude towards the girls sometimes, and one of the cooks, threatening them by asking, ‘Do you know who I am?’ And he would also send inappropriate texts to the ladies,” the co-worker told the outlet on the condition of anonymity.

“At the park, there’d be videos of him trying to fight people with boxing gloves. He’d take them around with him,” she said, according to the outlet.

Home was not a safe space for the 18-year-old, according to reports.

Ramos had regular fights with his mother, who suffered from drug issues, according to the Daily Mail. These fights would sometimes escalate to the point where the police were called, 41-year-old neighbor Ruben Flores said.

Ramos would sometimes leave his home and live with his grandparents, the outlet reported.

“He posted videos on his Instagram where the cops were there and he’d call his mom a b—- and say she wanted to kick him out,” classmate Nadia Reyes told the Post. “He’d be screaming and talking to his mom really aggressively.”

One of the people to know Ramos for a more extended period was childhood friend Santos Valdez Jr., who said he stopped being friends with Ramos after his behavior declined, the Post reported. The duo used to play the videogames “Fortnite” and “Call of Duty” together, according to the outlet.

However, Ramos began to exhibit strange behaviors, such as once coming to a park with cuts on his face.

When Valdez questioned him about the cuts, Ramos first claimed they were scratches from a cat, only to eventually say that “he’d cut up his face with knives over and over and over,” Valdez said, according to the Post.

“I was like, ‘You’re crazy, bro, why would you do that?’” he said.

Ramos replied that he did it for fun, Valdez said.

He also said Ramos and another boy would ride around in a car firing BB guns at people at night and egging people’s homes.

TX School Shooter Cut His Face with Knives, Creepe... (show quote)

Yah…..move along. Nothing to see here. Mental illness is clearly not a issue. And if it was, nothing could/would be done about it in today’s liberal world.

The super-simple, mindless solution: blame the gun! Why? Because, “mending the whole of society” would be a monumental task. Most of society would need to subscribe to some sort of mechanism which instills a “moral compass” in the youth (example: religion).

In addition: general concern and physical care for the mentally ill, should be a high priority. The whole range of conditions including homelessness and drug abuse, all the way to mass murder, could likely be addressed BEFORE disaster strikes!

Lawlessness and the disregard of “authority figures” leads to crime, mayhem and deep fear among all members of society. There are plenty of laws designed to safeguard the public. ENFORCE THEM! Prosecute and incarcerate criminals.

Is it too late to repair this country?
