It is unusual for the legal purchaser of a firearm to commit a crime with it. The few examples that are over-hyped by the media are not typical. Most school shootings occurred at after school events like ball games and many times did not even involve students.
According to the FBI, most of the guns recovered from criminals are stolen. Maybe you have some brilliant idea has to how those will be registered, or banned. The facts are that most mass shootings occur in about ten metro areas, and the majority involve black gang-bangers shooting each other. The fact is that there are about 24 million AR/AK type scary looking rifles in this country today, and they account for less than TWO PERCENT of the murders.

Since you have invented most of your post, keep inventing and tell us how YOU would go about prevention of gun deaths. Tell us HOW you would implement these preventative measures. and whether or not they are legal.
