Not much. Here in my neck of Saint Louis, we are overcast and humid. Still standing water in the yard. National weather service shows Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota getting the brunt of it right now.

I must say I am not enthused about the temps. Kinda muggy, actually. I mean, I want a proper spring with a good month of 60's before the heat comes in. I was gonna complain about the bad, humid summers we get sometimes here but, seein' how your in Florida, I doubt you would be sympathetic.

I do so appreciate all of you, and my hope is that you all are here a lot longer.
Please have a great day all. Still young at 80.

Come on now, NPP! Look at the Ten Commandments! Except for the loveandworshipmeonly ones, in all lovingkindness, how hard is it to figure out that MURDER is wrong, that envy and stealing should be discouraged, promises should be kept, honesty is the best policy and listen to your Mother! The much more nuanced Code of Hammurabi predates the Hebrew culture. I will paraphrase a poster I saw recently:

Morality needs no superior authority. It emerges from reciprocity, is nurtured by empathy, articulated by culture and maintained by instruction.

You of all folks should be familiar with "reciprocity!" From it stems cooperative "pack" behavior and mentality.

If your culture, articulated as well as unconscious, includes religious faith and is a comfortable and comforting fit for you, I see nothing wrong with your practice of it. I will even pause in silence while you pray over meals. I will start to wiggle if you take more than five minutes, though!

Would you be so kind as to indulge my belief that I resemble a thinner Katy Perry, with an amused chuckle and an exagerated nod of recognition? Just kidding about this last. Sigh.....
