I have to disagree with you on this proud rep. First, we don't ask to be honored in this fashion. We do what we do, " I served 38 years" because we love our God, Country and Family. In t***h when someone thanks me for my service it makes me uncomfortable and still have not figured out how to respond. And I feel embarrassed because of the soldiers we have lost. Second, show honor by your support, as you are doing now. If possible, donate to your local Police, Firefighters and State Troopers. Stand and put your hand on your heart for the Anthem. Go to a VA, just sit and talk with some of us. Third, this would be a total waste of Tax Payer money. We don't need a parade to show that we have the Greatest Military in the world. Those that have served, know it. When I was going home for R&R from Iraq after 9 months in country, with 5 more months after I returned, I boarded the plane in Atlanta. I was in uniform. A man in First Class offered me his seat. I politely declined. He insisted, and for his respect I accepted. This, I realized was his way of showing honor.

I'm trying real hard to maintain an even strain. When I read the incessant attacks on president Trump, I am also reading attacks on millions of Americans who support him. When I read the hack job hit pieces by the l*****t sycophants and liberal progressive bottom feeders, I am reading a level of contempt for America, her loyal citizens, and her institutions. I never even dreamed that so many people who claim to be Americans could sink so far or become so hostile to our nation and its founding principles of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. It seems the left has embraced a perversion of those principles, Death, Oppression, and the Pursuit of Misery. You people just don't give a flying f*ck about America, the "Fundamental T***sformation" of our great country is all that drives you.

Yes, we loyal Americans, and if I may use that all too often vilified term, "Patriots", had good reason to stridently oppose Obama's anti-American actions, his Marxist/socialist policies, and his condescension and hostility toward white people, police officers, the military, Christians and gun owners. We had good reason to condemn him for that. Admittedly some went to extremes to trash Obama, but nothing ever came close to what you l*****ts have done and are doing to destroy President Trump, and without giving a tinker's damn about the consequences.

Happy Birthday... I am approaching my 80th the end of July, however I sorta vowed I would stay 79 for awhile 80 sounds so terribly old...I v**ed for JFK my first opportunity to v**e for President in1969. At that time I was attending BYU, a Mormon college in Provo, Utah. I had enrolled in German 101 & the instructor,a return missionary from Germany said the 1st day that since the P**********l e******ns were on he was going to take a brief poll each week by the raising of our hands. "Who's v****g for Kennedy?" I proudly raised my hand & as I looked around, I quickly realized I had the only hand in the air...I don't remember how the rest of the "v**e" went as I suddenly felt "all alone"...So sure enough each week for awhile I raised my hand alone & gradually other hands joined me so that by about the end of the Semester perhaps about half the class had joined me in raising there hands! The class was about 30 - 35 students as I remember. The e******ns happened & a day or two later I returned to class & merely walked in with a big smile! I did very well in German studies & earned an "A" for my first in a foreign language. I thought I must have an innate talent in linguistics so the following Semester I signed up for Russian...BIG MISTAKE...I persevered & ended the 2nd semester with a "B" in both German & Russian...not bad I thought...I also had to take my Junior Proficiency exams that 2nd Semester & ironically I scored very high as apparently taking 2 foreign languages stimulated my knowledge in English. This was an unexpected bonus! I then left Provo & BYU & returned to Salt Lake City to the University of Utah. I had met a young lady who soon became my wife & I resumed a job I'd had before attending BYU, Cancer Research Tech. My new wife had 2 young sons who I eventually adopted. This was 1961...1963 came & JFK was assassinated...I was devastated!

I became a "student" of the JFK assassination for the next several years. The Warren Commission was a "Sham" Oswald was a "patsy." Ruby shot Oswald...Ruby was a pasty...WE learned that the JFK "k**l" shot came from the front wiping away much of the right side of Kennedy's head...I believe there were more than one shooter & suspect Oswald was not a shooter...the Warren Commission made their claims which I & millions of others doubt...to me Democrat & Republicans & CIA & FBI & others (may) have participated in the Kennedy assassination...then we had the Teddy Kennedy Assassination & the MLK Assassination... a decade of assassinations...What was America becoming I thought? I became a wish-washy v**er...not v****g if I didn't like the candidate & along about 1988 I had to register Republican to v**e against a man I couldn't stand in the primaries...I have remained GOP ever since...dems are a "failing" party...something has to be done...I am so glad that Donald J. Trump came along & decided to be our current President I hope he survives to be a 2nd termer...I will sure v**e for him...I will also v**e for all the Republicans who run in 2018...I will probably never v**e Democrat again... I did continue college, slowly at times, & eventually graduated in 1965 with a B.S. in Psychology...didn't have time for more languages...soon had 4 boys to raise...

Fried by alcohol, perhaps, as most here think. But I find any label of a particular political bent as a form of insanity or mental illness. Effectively, it is saying, "My POV is tainted, skewed, in a certain direction." What about a brain that is objective? What about a mind simply dedicated to what is best? Isn't it a direct betrayal of humanity to be conservative or liberal? What is the gift of Reason?

We take it for granted by tradition and a long history that a bicameral system of government is best. That is absurd. It is pretext to support bias and ease egos. "I am prejudiced because of this and that and listen to me." Too funny.

Thinking naturally should be divorced from all labels; a label is not thinking. It is a mental defect. Our impasse of the Left and Right is silly playground drama.

Not at all, I think that is wonderful.. and I thank Obama for his hard work and diligence for 8 years to bring this situation we have today..

Remember, it was only the last 3 or 4 months that the rest of the world has cought up with the US economy..
