Anyone with any intelligence or knowledge of the way the Government operates knew that this temp. shutdown of the Govt. costs almost as much money as it does to operate it normally. During the shutdown there is less money spent at that moment BUT, all wages are paid for the period of shutdown, even if they did not appear for work, Interest builds for the delay of payment that should have been paid but are now late. The Very much like a paid vacation that doesn't count against you. Some also get bonuses for exceptional service which are usually those that had to remain and work without their normal payday.
It certainly would have been much cheaper to give the $5.7 billion to build the wall.

When the Republicans held both branches of Congress they did not prosecute them simply because neither Clinton nor Obama would approve a special investigation and impeachment could not happen because at one time the Dems held enough v**es in the Senate so Clinton was impeached only by the House. Also witnesses seemed to commit suicide, have plane or traffic accidents or even get mugged and k**led.

There are many places along the border where the wall has detererated enough as to be practically non-existent. In San Diego the border that runs alongside the basin at the coast does not have anything more than a guard rail that is knee-high. There are many other places that are not very remote that has good roads on the Mexican side that drop off i******s to enter the country and are picked up by planned drivers on the US side.
Have you been to the border? I have and as a Law Enforcement Officer arrested hundreds and maybe more i******s and t***sported them to the Border Patrol Staion or had BP come and take custody of them if they were in a larger group.
The reason the Democrats want the i******s here is for v**es because they do register and v**e even though they are not supposed to. V**es equal power.

Depends where you are reading. The MSM including newspapers are mostly left leaning to outright socialism and they certainly will not report returning Corp. We now have steel making a comeback, manufacturing firearms, automobiles (ford & mopar), Medical supplies, etc.

Most certainly he will and if he wants to he will serve a second term. The President has already fulfilled many of his promises and things are going great in the USA. Unemployment is down to what is called 'complete employment' because you will always have a percentage of unemployed that do not want to work. The US Military is strong and highly respected once again as is our nation. We have some very good trade deals going one and industries including manufacturing jobs are returning home and taxes are down. Trump WILL get his wall and the nation will be much safer for it. Yes the Democrats will continue to try and bring him down but he hasn't done anything illegal, unlike Clinton, Obama, Holder and Lerner. Those are the real and most dangerous criminal that this nation has had in charge and their crimes are obvious. They just need to be prosecuted for them. This "crime" of lying to Congress is BS. Congress lies to us consistently. Just because someone forgets the exact wording to a question when asked again 6 months to a year later does not mean the are lying to Congress and need to be sent to prison. Of course Muller will reduce or drop charges if they swear that Trump did something wrong that he can charge the President with. Go after the real bad guys and leave the President alone.

He should appeal it to the next higher court which will overturn his sentence. (It is the 9th Circuit after all) I am very conservative and strict about fitting the punishment to the crime but 93 years is just insane and does not fit any sentencing guidelines that I know of. If he had actually been shooting at a person, even if he hit that person, it would be attempted murder at most which is 20 yrs. He should have been charged with reckless endangerment or discharging a firearm in the city limits etc. but I would love to know what charge brought about a 93 yr sentence?

What a crying shame it is that the "Deep State" or "The Swamp" is so afraid of being exposed and losing their power that they are willing to destroy this nation while trying to destroy President Trump, who has done an admirable job as CEO and President of these United States. Think of what could be accomplished if they would just approve on the business and safety things he has tried to initiate. Instead we have these powerful politicians calling in favors from the media and friends to demonize Donald Trump and to stop him from reforming and making the necessary changes to bring America back to being the envy of the entire world. The days of Obama are over. No more bowing, scraping, and apologizing for being a great nation and beacon of freedom. No more using our military as cannon fodder. No more demands that we take care of the entire world by using our assets. We will protect our nation and our borders as well as our ability to build a better mouse trap, so to speak. America WILL help others but America MUST come first.

Obviously the indictment and arrest were leaked to the news so that they could be there to catch his arrest. Who leaked it? It had to come from Muller or his staff and it was done for political reasons only. This witch hunt needs to stop when they are arresting people for making statements that have been asked over and over again and God help you if you don't reply exactly like you did the first time because they charge you with lying. When you have people like Hillary Clinton running free after committing treason, murder, conspiracy, etc. and not being held accountable then these arrests of people who happen to know Trump for stupid reasons that have hurt no one seems tragic.

When did the House pass a bill and send it to the Senate? Didn't happen. Now the Senate proposed a budget bill in two forms and neither passed with the 2/3rd majority. Pelosi has made it clear that she wants the Govt. shutdown to continue so that she can claim that it is the Presidents' fault but the President has made great concessions yet Pelosi refuses to even look at them because it has money in there for a Border wall. Pelosi is now showing herself to be the villain in this time simply because she wants massive power and thinks of herself as Co-President which she certainly is not!

The President has made some MAJOR concessions concerning DACA and other things and only asks for $5.7 Billion to build a physical wall that will stop 95% of the invasion into our country. The Government spends that much in a day and spends that much in less than a month just to pay for those who have invaded our Country! The Democrats we willing to spend as much as $57 Billion just three years ago to do the very same thing but are now trying to hold America hostage simply because they want to make President Trump look bad! Pelosi needs to go and so does Schumer.

The same thing happened to Bush 41 when the Democrats wanted a tax increase and told Bush that they would own it and give him most of what he wanted to run the Government. The minute he signed off on the tax increase they condemned him with his 'no new taxes' comment. Should trump give in and demand the Government be totally opened up Nancy and Schumer will say that a wall will cost too much and there are better ways of doing it so the promise of a wall will be over. They have done this time and time again and are NOT to be trusted. We NEED the wall to help stem the time of this Nation being invaded. With the Democrats publicly making statements about needing the wall and asking for $52 Billion when Obama was in Office should be played over and over again to show the lies the Dems are using.

The President has remain in DC the entire time sending proposals to the Democratic side that give them almost everything they are asking for in attempts to bring them to the bargaining table. So far Schumer spent time in the Bahamas vacationing while Pelosi spent a vacation in Hawaii. Afterwards many Democrats took a vacation to PR staying in expensive hotels and eating in 5 star restaurant's all at taxpayers expense. Just last week Nancy was ready to board a Government flight to Brussels, Egypt, and the Middle East with her family and friends as well as lobbyists for another trip that amounted to another vacation instead of remaining in DC to negotiate the budget. The only thing that stopped her was the President saying no you can't take a Government plane at taxpayers expense. No matter what the President has proposed the Democrats have said "NO!" before even looking at it. All the President wants is 10% of the money the Democrats asked for to secure the border!
