Milo,

So is the welfare money and money being spent on the i******s. That money should be spent on our veterans, not i******s.
You’re sitting there drinking your purple kool-aid cocktail falling for joe the jokes BS.
Many of what he’s touting as his successes were started by President Trump.

My brother committed suicide a few months after our father died. If a gun can do what my brother's gun did, I want it banned.

Yes, Canuckus, I do know that under Clinton, there was a ban, but that ban has expired.

Puddy Tat,

Your brothers death is unfortunate. Unfortunately the survivors are left with the “what if’s”. I once responded to a call to do a “welfare check” on an individual and found him h*****g in the garage. He had a silk scarf tied around his neck, h*****g next to a ladder and a rake with about 2 feet of the handle up his rectum. Death caused by auto erotica, should we ban silk scarfs, ladders, rakes or sexual d*****ts? G****r fluidity could be the cause of many deaths, let’s ban that.

Puddy Tat,

They should ban frozen water bottles, food cans, rocks, bricks, Molotov cocktails or everything else your ilk, (a****a & b*m) throw at Law Enforcement. Go to Chicago, Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis or any dem run city and preach your BS. You and your leader joe the joke should move to Iran.

Hemorrhoid,

So what you’re really saying is no matter what we do we can’t stem the flow of pollution if we don’t enforce our ways on other countries. You need to go to India, China or any other third world country and let them know we’re coming.
You do realize the minimal amount of pollution we produce is nothing compared to the rest of the world. Our rules and regulations are not for all.
Grab all your dem/lib and prog friends and start your world tour. You can take some of your chicken little friends from OPP and save the world.
You can hitch a ride with Gore or deCrapio and travel the world in their jet leaving a footprint letting them know of the danger.

>>>This empty, unknowing rhetoric may play well with others...not so much with me. Admittedly, my limited knowledge of social behavior stems mostly from exposure to my parent's professional careers. My Dad was an attorney...both criminal and civil, while my step-mom was a clinical psychologist. I also dabbled in court reporting. The LEOs in my Family, all siblings/cousins/nephews/Veterans, and I get along just fine. I'll be seeing 'em next month at a Memorial Service to our brother. I feel secure and confidant in my own mental capacities. I am very strong-willed and prefer to identify as an independent. I wrote in Jim Webb for president in 2016. I couldn't bring myself to v**e for either Clinton or Trump. I felt our nation would lose with either.

Having remembered, perhaps too late, that we are both 'Nam Vets, I feel most uncomfortable squabbling with a 'Brother In Arms'. I have maintained a sense of camaraderie with each who fought/served in that god-forsaken place. It seems a shame that after both of us making it home, we find ourselves in combative discourse over each other's perceived wrong-headedness.

We each fought for...among other things, freedom of expression.

Still with the head games, but I can better understand where you come from. Must have been difficult growing up with your parents. That explains your wanting to be right and in control all of the time. It’s okay to be wrong at times and admit it.
Life is a bumpy road at times, enjoy the ride.
Apparently your parents never talked to you about their jobs, shame on them. It would have benefited you to learn more about social behavior.
Sorry for your loss, I hope your brother did not suffer. May he rest eternally in peace.
I was there 68 & 69, with 5th SFG, Army. Operating in Cambodia & Laos, you know when we weren’t there. Welcome home to you also.

Wow, you're really out there with this kind'a nonsensical post. Even as congenial as I generally am, I will respond in kind...

Yes, I do admit to being a fan of Harry Truman, whose quote you paraphrased. And, I value your opinion about as highly as you do mine, so all's good with that. Where you find hypocrisy in my posts is questionable, and if labeling you a curmudgeon is damaging to your fragile ego, so be it. However, as far as levels of name-calling goes, that's pretty damn mild. And, btw, there are many LEOs in my immediate Family and I am somewhat aware of their sensitivities...or lack thereof.

To be clear, the Sgt. Major's place is in my heart, and L-J (as well as the other ladies on OPP) knows full well our devotion to one another. It seems that your insecurities (paranoia?) are destroying any clarity of thought you may have once had.

You know so little about so much, you are a legend in your own mind.
Curmudgeon fits you so well, you can’t see it.
You can try playing your mind games with others and many fall for it. I see right through your game.
As a Vietnam veteran from the 60’s and being in LE, and as a hostage negotiator for 16 yrs dealing with alcoholics, drug addicts and very depressed people I have grown thick skinned to being called names. You are an amateur compared to them. I can honestly say I saved many lives while on patrol and during negotiating. I dealt with hundreds, and never lost one. Yes I am sensitive, especially for those in need. Like the old saying goes, “sticks and stones can hurt my bones but words will never hurt me”. Many have tried like you, but I stand strong.
Your closing paragraph sounds like a page right out of Coumo’s handbook on how to treat women. You see how that’s working out for him, but then again he is a democrat, so you won’t see it.
I am in complete control of my mental capacities, no paranoia here. What training have you had to make such a prognosis of anyone.
You probably need to mind your P’s and Q’d around family LE. Then again they probably exercise control to keep peace in the family.

Can't get that burr out'ta your arse, can ya', Had'nuf Perhaps you might consider that L-J is more congenial than an ol' curmudgeon such as yourself, thus more likely to bring out the better in posters.

Btw, pardon me if you find my response to be a bit too snarky for your sensitive nature.
img src="https://static.onepoliticalplaza.com/ima... (show quote)

Spoken like a true hypocrite. Your response is to be expected. After 20+ years in LE sensitivity is not an issue. I don’t have to prove myself to anyone. If I valued your opinion, which I don’t, I would curl up like a dem/lib/prog, nice try.
That’s all you got, so it’s okay to resort to name calling. If you can’t dazzle them with knowledge, baffle them with BS is your creed. I hope Sgt Maj. is okay with your flirtatious manner with female posters, I’m sure you put her in her place.
Your hypocrisy is so t***sparent. A true autocrat to the bone. Lol.

What? No snarky answer to LJ? Same response I gave you, such a congenial hypocrite.
I would think that someone with such an advanced intellect as yourself would use their common sense and logic to stay out of the pit of snakes as you posted. Clear case of the pot calling the kettle black. I find you humorous as well as hard to believe on some posts.

"A poll", Hadenough I was counting all the polls on that link, and stopped counting after I reaching 130 of 'em over a period of several months. But, I suppose you never got beyond the first page of 5 polls.

It's hard to take you seriously, as you seem to take nothing except your own propaganda to heart.

Lol, I like how you lose your congenial manner, when you get questioned. I have a life and more important things to do than count polls. Having many years of experience dealing with polls, I know they are written with a specific response in mind.
It is also difficult to take you seriously with your propaganda and that’s it.
You are very astute with your congenial manner, condescending and left handed compliments. Many here on OPP play along with your game and good for them. It is good that you stand firm in your position right or wrong.
Do you recall one of my first posts to you? I mentioned you should go into politics, you’re good at what you do. You speak like a true politician.

Reading comprehension is probably not one of your strongest suits. I was addressing your post to another poster stating he should check his DNA for black blood in his lineage. Your reference to “one drop”.
Your comment about your white husband says so much, “I don’t h**e my white family because I don’t have a white family... I have a white husband”.
But he did change your tire in the rain? Does he work for triple A?

With all your infinite wisdom, I can’t believe you put so much credence in a poll. I hope you realize polls are written to get a certain result or response from the specific group they poll.
Tired of hearing people claiming Bitem c***ted? Sounds a lot like your side constantly claim the Russians elected President Trump, the big difference is v***r f***d is being discovered but the AG’s are refusing to investigate the evidence being found.
