Cruz is the Billy Mitchell of today.

I have to ask that since some people here are calling for his recall. It seems to me that if he can bring on an 8 minute standing ovation by just walking to the podium he is safe among his constituents. Yes, establishment Republicans and the left leaners fear him as well they should. He has said that he would rather make his people happy than to please 99 other Senators, especially those of the establishment.

Compared to the popularity of establishment Republican leaders, it seems Cruz’s radical plan to be a voice for the silent majority might actually be working.

My question was "what would happen". Nothing more, nothing less. I advocated nothing. Can you answer the question???? Economically, what would happen?????

If their parents had gone to a bank to finance their college education, would you consider that the bank had the rights of a s***eowner to them? Are you suggesting that the government should just pay outright for student's tuition and other expenses? Why is it appropriate to advocate that people do not repay their contracted obligations? Isn't that what you are complaining that Federal government is not doing?

I don't think there will be any rules of engagement on either side like BO imposed on our military in Afganistan.

Of course, when our government bought up enough rounds of ammunition to k**l every one of us 5 times over it was only a conspiracy theory that led conservatives to think they were to be used against us. When Obama declared war on our veterans last week with signs that had been prepared for a long time, there was nothing wrong with that. He couldn't force the veterans to do anything to allow declaration of martial law. What will he try next to get that war going?

What would happen IF a giagantic twitter campaign started and all the people who have student loans quit paying? Most of them are realizing that the gov't. has them in s***ery and there is no way out even after they are dead.

Sorta like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute and as you leave the plane someone says "you gonna die" and you say the facts are not in yet. The result is a foregone conclusion.

THE FACTS ARE NOT IN YET??!!?? No wonder you're still defending that piece of crap! You can go on line and see wh**ever you need. The facts have proven that it's w-w-w-a-a-y-y-y worse than anybody thought it would be. More expensive, less care, higher deductibles, more invasive. It gives the govt. control over every facet of your life. I can't believe you're still blaming Republicans for the problems, when they are just trying to save the country and your stubborn ass!

General One was a heavy drinker. Admiral One (35 yrs service) was said to have used counterfeit chips at a casino in Iowa. If true, they should have been canned right away. Court martial for the Navy Admiral. He has brought discredit upon himself and his service. And don't worry; we've got plenty of well-qualified people to take their place.

General One had an awful big job for a heavy drinker. I don't but it. There are stories out there that the Admiral was set up by Obama/CIA. We probably will not hear from either one because they were told keep your mouth shut and you can collect you pension. Not unlike Petreaus.

I'll leave that to you. You have a big mouth. I'm sure you would do about as much good as you do here.

I eat at 5 Guys a lot. Not because they treat their workers a little better but because they have the best damn hamburgers in town and their prices are reasonable. That Sir is free enterprise!!!!!!!!!!!!

The teatards and teabags are always whining and crying about how the big fast food companies and resturants can't provide better wages and benefits to employees. And some of the very low intellect keep whining that these jobs are for teenagers and not to provide for a family. Maybe the grossly misinformed should patronize the businesses mentioned in the attached article. Seems that treat workers fairly is the best business model for growth and financial gain.

I understand that there were 17 other officers canned also. Do they all have gambling problems???????????? I certainly hope and pray that it is a "pack of rubbish".

Tasine, this pack of rubbish was floating around in Sept, when the events were to occur on Oct 1st, the end of the fiscal year.. The Generals firing is what this thread was started, General one has a huge amount of gambling debt which leaves him open to pressure which in turn makes him a liability in his vital position. The second General I haven`t yet heard any explanation for. But these two firing can make a person nervous..Believe it or not...
