The CDC estimated 24,000 to 62,000 flu deaths this year.
We also have Washington DC experts continually changing their “scientific models.”

F***i is the same doctor who proposed shutting down the US economy.

The experts continue to promote “models” and “theories” at their press briefings.

Since this is my thread I will indulge you:

First off you missed the entire point. Figures.

That being said, I am familiar with the front lines baby. In and out and helped out one for about ten hours last night; no sleep but hey, the front lines was mostly regular stuff with a few being tested and waiting for some results now. I do know that we have some hospitals, one in particular, who couldn't provide a doc a mask and he performed a C-section without a mask. Why? Stupidity, really. Because of the hype this hospital admin decided to ration masks and gloves but this morning no body bothered to check what was available and go get what was needed and as it turned out, it was locked up. Funny but not. The hysteria has brought these people to their knees in fear when in reality, they just need to do what they do. Cry wolf, what ever, but I've yet to see the "front lines" any more capable and yet to hog tied. Their fear is choking them. This is the result of the hype/panic and who is fomenting that??

Disaster: Trump's Been Binge-Watching Netflix And He Just Bought 17 Tigers

WASHINGTON, D.C.—As if Americans haven’t had enough bad news, there are now reports of a huge disaster in the making. Apparently President Donald Trump has started watching the documentary Tiger King on Netflix and has purchased seventeen tigers, which are currently roaming the White House.

“This is worse than when he watched that Michael Bay Ninja Turtles movie and ordered nunchucks from Amazon,” said one White House staffer who wished to remain anonymous.

The tigers are now all over the White House, destroying priceless furniture and art. Even the Secret Service is too intimidated to confront them. Trump, though, seems unconcerned. “I saw this show about how much fun it was to own tigers,” Trump told reporters, “and I wanted to be just like the hero of the show -- that Joe guy. I mean, I already know what it’s like to have a nasty woman out to get you.”

Trump explained that all of the tigers were named “Tony” since he can’t tell them apart. He also warned anyone visiting the White House to be careful of them and to “yell in their faces” if they’re doing anything wrong since they “don’t like that.”

Trump is currently working on new tiger-based activities for when the White House reopens for tourism and is also reportedly growing a mullet and may rebrand himself as “Don Exotic” for his re-e******n campaign.

The article states:
“Neither the Trump administration nor Congress has the legal authority to shut down American life absent at least baseline due process.”

Judge Andrew Napolitano wrote that business closures, restrictions on assembly and movement, and quarantines are not constitutionally permissible under some magic “emergency” doctrine and that the federal government must show potential imminent harm involving specific infected individuals at a hearing or trial.

State and local officials may claim, or even possess, lawful police powers to shut down their communities.
We offer no analysis of such powers or claims under the myriad of state constitutions and authorizing legislation. But they should resist exercising these powers. The governor of Virginia, in particular, deserves admonition for unilaterally imposing a lengthy period of virtual house arrest.

We do not know, and cannot yet know, how many Americans will become sick or die from the v***s.
We do know that predictions regarding infection and death rates are highly unreliable.
Even actual deaths attributable to C****-** are not so easy to count, as Italy has discovered.
Age, general health, and comorbidity are difficult variables to assess, and people may die “with” the v***s but not “from” it. It is also very difficult to assess the lethality of the v***s relative to previously known types of flu and colds.

To date, C****-** deaths in the US are far fewer than deaths in ordinary flu seasons or from past p******cs such as the H1N1 v***s. This understanding is critically important to put the v***s, and the government response to it, in perspective. Even during past p******cs, depressions, and world wars, Americans went to work.

In 1850, French economist Frédéric Bastiat helped the world understand the “seen and unseen costs” of state policies. It is simple to see how quarantines and lockdowns will slow the spread of C****-**. It is critical, but not so simple, to see the costs and harms caused by the economic shutdown.

Only then can we rationally understand the tradeoffs involved.

People who question the mainstream media’s claims of hospitals looking like war zones due to floods of people infected and dying from the c****av***s have filmed scenes at hospitals that appear empty, as though the narrative has been invented. Other facilities have claimed to be overrun with people who want to be tested for the v***s, but most testing stations also are empty.

New York City
Phyllis and William Mack Pavilion Hospital in Manhattan:
One man in the emergency room, refrigerated truck on hand, but nothing going on.

Bellevue Hospital:
Looks empty from the street view.

Kings County Hospital:
10 people standing around, but not busy.

Brooklyn Hospital:
not crowded, despite media claims to the contrary. No lines or chaos.

Emergency ward in Jamaica Hospital:
full and had people waiting; important to know that this hospital provides discount and free services to ‘underserved’ low-income community and is always busy. Waiting time is usually 4 to 5 hours, as seen from Yelp reviews. (Note that hospital information ends at 7:20 and then there is a commercial that can be skipped).
