It all makes me worry more about how unprepared this country is. I really thought that each state should have been ready in case of something like this happening. They even sort of expected it and still did nothing. Even the hospitals should have been more prepared. Will this teach them a lesson? Hope so.

It doesn't matter how prepared each state or hospital is if these low lives hoard something as important as masks nothing would help!

You are comparing oranges to apples!! I'm talking about person who was hoarding all this equipment that was needed for 1st Responders! Amazon is selling things not hoarding!! Different!

Yet Barr isn't going after brokers selling hundreds of millions of masks going overseas at $6/$7 each, I guess these people have been given a green light from up high.

It's the brokers handling 48 million mask lots like what went out of New Jersey to an overseas buyer at $6/$7 that would have been more than New Jersey and New York hospitals needed that would make a difference. Trump's federal agencies should have had control of large numbers of masks like that weeks ago, the federal government should have had total control of the 280 million masks that went overseas in one day. This is the failure of this administration, a simple and easy to accomplish thing like totally controlling the supply chain.

It wouldn't be worth hoarding if everyone was properly prepared because then nobody would be in dire need.
