I take no comfort in having much if others have so very little.
It is not a matter of taking from others as it is to see that there is enough left in the game that most can feel as if they are a part of the game. Or life so to speak.

My army service was before the build up in Vietnam.

It wasn't until I played war games when it became clear that yes, I would shoot at others to save my live & those around me.
The first official troops to Vietnam went I think in 1960.
They were just advisers. I toyed with the idea of asking to go. Talking with a guy just back from there, but didn't.
At that time it didn't seem like a big thing.
