Give me your slant on the Constitution. What makes you even think I watch FOX? You must be black or you wouldn't be trying to bait me by using the race card. Pathetic. BTW, Obama was more white than black, so stick that up your derriere.

I think you watch Fox and believe everything people like Sean Hannity say. You are not thinking for yourself, and cannot accept that Barack Obama is not going to prison, but Donald Trump is going to be arrested and jailed. Trump is so unpopular he has to place ads on Craigslist to get people to go to his rallies. It seems that Trump is guilty of every bad thing he accuses other people of doing. Lying, c***ting, corruption, r****m, and theft. Yet, you people blindly follow him - he does not care about you. He will try every trick to take away your health and welfare to give to the wealthy. Ignoring facts equals ignorance, and that sums you up pretty well.

You are delusional at best. Over what? Driving the economy into the best position ever. Accomplishing more in just over a year in a half than Obama ever came close to in 8 long years? Dream on, punk!

Do you really think Obama was a failure, or is it because Fox told you he was a failure? Or is it because he is black? Trump has done more damage to this country than good. In ten years, when the goverment is broke and your social security and medicare benefits are reduced, you will blame the Democrat in office for the situation. It always seems to be a Democratic president who has to clean up after a Republican president lowers taxes and drives the country into bankruptcy. Because of Trump and the spineless Republicans, you will have no health insurance, no social security, no medicaid, and no place to live. The wealthy will tell you to pull up your bootstraps and get to work. However, if you are in your 70's or 80's you might not be able to get that dream job at Target to pay your rent. Donald Trump is a conman, thief, liar, and a sexual predator. This is the man you look up to. Wow!

You seem to forget Donald Trump saying Obama's great numbers on the economy were false. However, when he became president, those great numbers belonged to him. It doesn't really matter anyway, he is going to prison. It may not happen until his term is over, but it will happen.

LBJ's GREAT WAR ON POVERTY was supposed to raise Black people out of poverty. It did just the opposite. Fathers left their children by the millions. Destroying the Black Families. Uncle Sam, who now feeds the families can't be there to give the male children direction. The poverty scale did not move at all. More B****s on poverty than ever. M**************m and diversity of races destroys the White culture that this country has maintained for 250 years. It is unknown what the country will be when Western Culture is no longer the culture. What then? No military. All taxes spent on social programs which are out of control @ this time. 51% of all immigrants are on some form of welfare. Democrats have darken the American landscape significantly starting with the Obama Adm. Muslims and Christians do not mix. Look at Israel and Europe as proof. If theycan destroy the self respect of the American male they will have succeeded in destroying this country as we know it.

Except: not quite. According to data collected by the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research at Cornell, only 8% of African-American v**ers cast their b****ts for Trump in the 2016 p**********l e******n. President George W. Bush received 11% of the African-American v**e in 2004.

What you are saying is Ivanka Trump never said he raped her, the woman did not file a lawsuit against Trump for rape when she was 13 years old, members of the wrestling team did not allege that Jim Jordan witnessed the sex acts performed in front of him, and that the priests did not sexually assault children.

There is no point discussing the matter any further with you.

Talking about reality doesn't mean you are in the gutter if that's the facts. The right doesn't consider it to be acceptable to talk about their dirty family laundry, it's the way people were raised. I know a dozen families growing up that had some dirty family secrets and they simply were not allowed to be talked about. My friend's grandfather got caught with a 13 year old foster girl, and the family reviled the girl blaming her for corrupting the grandfather, I kid you not. The old p*******e should have been put in jail.

I agree - on a smaller scale, we have Jim Jordan denying claims of sexual behavior in his presence, and on a larger scale, the Catholic Church not punishing p*******e priests. They either ignored it, or moved the offender to another parish.
I am quite sure it this happened to the grandchildren of the people on OPP, they would get their guns and find the guy.

Why do facts not matter if it only affects somebody else?

Nathan Larson “bragged in website posts about raping his late ex-wife.” Indeed, “In a phone call, Larson confirmed that he created the now-defunct websites suiped.org and incelocalypse.today ― chat rooms that served as gathering places for p*******es and violence-minded misogynists like himself.”

And he admitted there was a “grain of t***h” in an essay he wrote “about father-daughter incest and another about raping his ex-wife repeatedly.”

Except for incest with his daughter, this sounds a lot like Donald Trump. His ex-wife said he raped her, he has said he would like to date his daughter, and he has been accused in a lawsuit of raping a child.

[quote=eagleye13]Obama's burial costs
Some may want to know;

When a president dies, the country pays for their burial. In the case of a president like JFK, who was a war hero and assassinated in the middle of a term, something extravagant is in order. His burial at Arlington with the memorial paid for by the people cost almost $4 million in today's money, adjusted for inflation. The Kennedy family paid for the casket, vault and the eternal flame.
Ronald Reagan, one of the most influential men in history, is buried in California at his P**********l Library, paid for by donations from the people and the Reagan family. In fact, other than Kennedy, which we can all agree was warranted, no president has ever cost the taxpayers more than $100K in today's money to bury.
The clause in the P**********l Contract enacted by congress in 1819 states that the president shall receive the burial service deemed fit for his stature and that the cost of the funeral and burial plot will be paid for by the people of a grateful nation. While every president who has died in modern history, except Reagan, took advantage of that perk of the presidency, none have gone so far that anyone would ever have noticed. Until now that is.
Barack Obama has just submitted his plans for burial in a plot that will house his entire family, citing the Kennedys, the Tafts and the Roosevelts as precedent, inside a monument he had designed to celebrate the nation's first black president. The monument, will cost the taxpayers roughly $120 million and will be listed as a national historical place with 24 hour protection from the 3rd US Infantry Regiment, just like the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
The memorial would be built immediately upon approval and occupy the Northeast quadrant of the lawn near the Washington Monument with a view of the White House:
The monument itself would include quotes from his years as president along with a giant bronze statue and burial crypts for him and his family under a large arch:
You heard that right. Obama will be guarded around the clock in a monument among those of our founding fathers and greatest heroes, paid for by the taxpayer. It's not too late to call or contact your congressman and object.

According to Snopes this article is false. It came from America’s Last Line of Defense - a satirical publication.

When the American People get tried of the left saying the opposite of what they promise or start working with the duly elected President, then I'll raise the bar on positive responses!

I don't think you understood what I said. I was replying to Lone Wolf's post listing Trump's actions that have hurt the American people, not replying to your post. I used the term "raising the bar" to say that the conversation had been elevated to a higher, better level by posting facts instead of insults.

The earth is getting warmer, and this will have severe and terrible consequences. This is not a lie, and I think most people understand that it will not improve unless we act now. I think the Left does try to deliver on their promises, but Donald Trump frequently tells people what they want to hear with no intention of helping them. A few examples: better cheaper health care, lowering taxes on the middle class while making sure the wealthy pay their fair share, and reaching across the aisle to work with each other for the betterment of all the people.

Withdrew from the T***s-Pacific Partnership. The trade deal would have established a trade partnership between the United States and countries on the Pacific Rim. HURTS ECONOMIC GROWTH, K**LS JOBS.

Revoked a rule that expanded the number of people who could earn overtime pay. HELPS BIG BUSINESS, HURTS WORKERS.

Reversal of a rule that would mandate that oil and gas companies report payments to foreign governments. The Securities and Exchange Commission will no longer receive this information. HELPS BIG OIL.

Ended limits on the ability of states to drug test those seeking unemployment benefits. OPIOD CRISIS BE DAMNED.

Revoked an executive order that mandated compliance by contractors with laws protecting women in the workplace. Prior to the 2014 order, a report found that companies with federal contracts worth millions of dollars had scores of violations of labor and civil rights laws. HELPS BIG BUSINESS, HURTS WORKERS.

Repeal of a rule allowing states to create retirement savings plans for private-sector workers. HURTS WORKERS.

Cancelled a rule mandating that financial advisers act in the best interests of their clients. HURTS SMALL INVESTORS.

Repeal of a bill that mandated that employers maintain records of workplace injuries. HURTS WORKERS, HELPS BIG BUSINESS.

K**led a rule mandating that government contractors disclose past violations of labor law. HURTS WORKERS, HELPS BIG BUSINESS.

The justice system

Rescinded an Obama effort to reduce mandatory sentences. Attorney General Jeff Sessions ordered that prosecutors seek the most stringent penalties possible in criminal cases. OUR JAILS ARE OVERCROWDED. ADDS TO GOVERNMENT DEFICIT.

Cancelled a phase-out of the use of private prisons.

Reversed a ban on civil forfeiture. Law enforcement officials are now once again able to seize assets from suspects who haven’t been convicted of any crime. HURTS PRIVATE CITIZNES.

Reversed the government’s position on a v**er ID law in Texas. Under the Obama administration, the Justice Department argued that the law had discriminatory intent. Under Sessions, Justice withdrew that complaint. On Wednesday, a federal court threw out the law. HELPS REPUBLICANS BY DENYING THE V**E TO MINORITIES.

Reviewed Justice Department efforts to address problematic police departments. An effort to address concerns in the Baltimore Police Department was delayed. HURTS CITIZENS.

The environment

On Friday, Politico reported that some representatives of oil and gas companies are worried that Trump’s moving too quickly to reverse regulations on their industry. “[Y]ou don’t need to roll things back so far that it opens an opportunity for outsiders to criticize, or something bad happens,” one analyst said.

Withdrew from the Paris climate agreement. HURTS OUR CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN. USA AND SYRIA IN AGREEMENT AGAINST REST OF WORLD.

Blocked the Clean Power Plan. The plan implemented under Obama focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions from power plants. HURTS OUR PLANET.

Ended a study on the health effects of mountaintop-removal mining. The process involves blasting away the tops of hills and mountains to get at coal seams under the surface. HURTS OUR WORKERS' SAFETY.

Rescinded a rule mandating that rising sea levels be considered when building public infrastructure in flood-prone areas. HURTS OUR PLANET.

Reversed an Obama ban on drilling for oil in the Arctic. HURTS OUR PLANET.

Withdrew a rule regulating fracking on public land.

Rejected a proposed ban on the pesticide chlorpyrifos. The month after this decision, a group of farmworkers were sickened by exposure to the chemical. HELPS BIG BUSINESS, HURTS FARMERS.

Repealed the Waters of the United States rule. This rule expanded the definition of water bodies that were protected by the Environmental Protection Agency. HURTS OUR PLANET.
no not in a good wat Putin's way. br hears a list ... (show quote)

Yes, thank you for posting facts. I have a theory with the President. If he accuses a person of committing some action, he is almost surely guilty of that action. Other people are crooked, r****t, sexual abusers, liars, etc. However, when Trump or one of his supporters hear facts that they do not like, they call it f**e news. I often wonder if Trump people really believe Trump is the next savior, or they are actually in Russia trying to undermine the American political system. The earth is in real danger because of c*****e c****e, yet our elected officials are ignoring the obvious signs because their wealthy donors tell them what to do and say. Where is the concern they voiced for years about leaving a huge debt to our children? How about giving our future generations a world that may be uninhabitable because of g****l w*****g.

Unfortunately, some people rely on insults instead of having a civil conversation. But, you have raised the bar today on One Political Plaza.

Agreed - I used to work in a nursing facility in New York and Medicaid and Medicare paid the submitted claims. However, insurance companies delayed and delayed for months until finally paying their claims. There was no fraud or overbilling, they simply did not want to pay for their insured customers until the quarterly profit and loss statement came in. To turn the health care industry over to insurance companies would be the final nail in the coffin of honest citizens
of this country who still believe in the empty promises of our elected leaders. Be aware, Medicare and Social Security are in the sights of government officials seeking to reduce the deficit, give tax breaks to the rich, and force the population to die because of greed. The next few years will be a true tragedy.

By firing Preet Bhrara, Trump has let loose his worst enemy - the t***h. Preet has taken down Sheldon Silver and Dean Skelos in New York. Outside of New York, this means nothing, but this man will prove the dishonesty and criminal behavior of Our Glorious Leader.

President Trump will be soiling his adult size diapers in a week, or a month. This is big, people - you can deny or insult, but Trump is done.
