Has any one thought that he might have suffered a mental problem? Maybe the stress caused him to break. Talking strange and leaving his rifle and other gear behind doesn't sound rational to me.

Yes I would, but not for that one under the known circumstances, considering what we gave up for his return.

Oh, now I understand. We will conduct an internet pol. We could enter the prisoner's sex, race, religion, political belief, age, etc. Then we could enter what he is worth for his return in dollars, hostages, enemy prisoners, etc. After a set time we could tally up the v**es and let the majority of respondents decide if we rescue him or not.

I wouldn't release 5 terrorists to facilitate the return of an alleged deserter.

Answer the question. Would you or would you not rescue a US serviceman from captivity if you had the power?

Impeachment proceedings must be initiated by the House and sent to the Senate for concurrence. With Reid in charge it would never be brought to the floor for consideration, much less for discussion and a v**e.

Let me get this straight. You would not do what ever you could to insure the return of a US serviceman from captivity? This President or any other President should be congratulated on this serviceman's return to the USA after 5 years in captivity.

Why don't we just trade Harry Reid, Nancy Polosis, Mitch McConnall , Lindsay Graham, John Boehner and some of the others for one Taliban. Thought I just add this on my post.

Better yet let's trade draft dodger O'Reilly, Medvick, 6 deferment Cheney, 7 deferment Mitt and the rest of the Republican Band of Cowards that got us into this mess.

Yep what a trade ALL of them are terrorists and we freed em all! What a game plan huh? Obomanation wants nothing more than approval from the Muslim community and when he said he would right any perceived wrong against the Muslims? I knew immediately that he was practicing muruna (the art of deception)allowed by Islam to achieve ones goals. Our country is to far gone I'm afraid. Unless someone whistle blows on this president and soon we will be stuck in a very deep hole. No one could dig us out of.
Yep what a trade ALL of them are terrorists and we... (show quote)

I seem to remember that Bush 43 released about 500 people from Gitmo. Does this make him a Muslim?

As a former infantry grunt in another war, my question is how much does Skyhook feel an american solider is worth? I did not know that prior to a rescue or swap that an american solider is to be evaluated on his political beliefs, religion, liking or disliking the war, etc. are to be factored in the evaluation whether he is worthy of rescue.

You're asking the wrong question. What's an acceptable wage for one person may be unacceptable for another. The point is it shouldn't be up to the government to determine a minimum wage for anyone.

I seem to remember that the minimum wage was increased during Bush 41's term and also by the Republican controlled congress during Clinton's term. Seems that we had job creation then.

let's review the bidding on the Keystone Pipeline. A Canadian Company gets to t***sport oil across the US and export it from Texas to Europe and reap Billions of dollars in profit. They are allowed to take land from from American citizens. They will not be responsible if a major oil spill happens. They will not be required to sell the oil to us.

In turn we get a few temporary construction jobs and a potential environmental disaster.

Why didn't the Canadian Oil Company build the line West to the their port in Canada? Are they afraid of the potential danger?

New to this site. After completion of the Keystone pipeline will the American see a $20 reduction in the price of oil. Or,will the Canadian Oil firm pocket the $20?
