You know, you bring up some good points about Trump. There are too many for one post. However, you reminded me when you mentioned that "He's playing footsies with Putin", that as common knowledge would have it, Trump is FIRST and foremost focused on HIS interests. I think he's playing footsies with Putin because it's in his best business interests. And, I firmly believe that's his ONLY interest in running for POTUS...to further the interests of Trump Enterprises. I don't believe he actually wants to win. He just wants the publicity and access for Trump Enterprises. Basically, he's in it to promote and boost his brand...and help Hillary win.

He doesn't talk about core principles, the Founders, the Constitution, limited government or liberty. He doesn't talk about them because he doesn't know about those things. He doesn't know about those things because he doesn't care about those things. And neither do his sycophants. Trumpsters care nothing about policy, integrity, honor or any of those things I mentioned about Trump either. The only thing they care about is "winning". They define winning as defeating Hillary. I, however, care deeply about all of those things. And it's those things that will not permit me to v**e for Trump. Of course, I absolutely can't v**e for Hillary either. Therefore, and it's too early to call right now, but likely I'll write in a name. If only in symbolism, my v**e will be for the person that I believe represents my core principles.

I predicted this "meltdown" of a candidacy by Trump 4-6 months ago...right here on OPP. Of course, as always, I was eviscerated by the Trumpsters. My theory (then and now) was that Trump is a Democrat mole (likely paid by Bill Clinton and his supporters) sent to flip the Republican Party on its head by getting the Republican nomination (or splitting the Party) by hook or crook and then PURPOSELY derailing his own campaign in the general against Hillary, or at the very least, disenfranchise the Republican Party to point of splintering it into several factions, again to aide Hillary's victory to the White House. I said then, that the MSM would hold back their fury on Trump until after he got the nomination...and then both he and the press would sink his ship. And now, we're watching it happen in prime time.

I've been on hiatus from OPP for several months. After the fiasco that was the Republican primaries, I had to take a break...a long break.

Today, I decided to check in and check the pulse on OPP. Didn't take long to find ignorance and stupidity displayed for all the masses to enjoy. This is the first thread I came to. And, as always, your retort to this self-righteous moron is spot on.

"They" constantly have us arguing amongst ourselves on issues in order to keep us distracted from what they're really up to. Today, it's restroom access, Trump, B*M, i*****l i*********n, gay marriage, Hillary's guilt/innocence, islamophobia, safe zones on campus, socialism and "free stuff", religion and on and on and on.

It seems they never run out of topics for "We The People" to be divided on. We're constantly being pitted one against the other: Right v Left, Rich v Poor, Black v White, Man v Woman, Religious v non-religious, gay v straight, etc, etc. The Titanic is sinking and we're all arguing over what china to put on the table in the dining room.

Here's an example of what they do: Housing bubble of 2007-08. Lenders put out risky loans to people that could ill-afford them in the first place...in large part, because the government forced them to. Thanks Bill. And, in spite of warnings from Congress, they kept on until the bubble burst. And what was the solution? TARP and later, Stimulus package. Both were to the tune of about $1 trillion each. They created the problem and then after much gnashing of teeth, came up with the "solution" to save our economy. Brilliant. We're so easily manipulated.

Let me get this straight....

T******s have always used the restroom to where they blend in the best, right? MTF t******s use the stall in the men's room. No problem.

This has been working just fine. It's a win-win for everybody. Don't ask, don't tell. Go in the stall in either restroom, do your business and we're all good here. And if there's a single-occupancy restroom available, use it for your convenience.

But NO, that's not good enough. Now, they insist on using the restroom of which they choose to identify themselves (even though nature, the hospital/birth certificate, God and 20-20 vision do not)...and by doing so, inconvenience EVERYBODY ELSE. Everybody else is about 99.9% of the population.

The point is, it's not about them. It's certainly not ALL about them. It's about the consequences of such a policy. It's the tail wagging the dog. No, it's the flea wagging the tail wagging the dog.

What YOU don't get is that women and girls are going to be scared to go into public restrooms if men are allowed in there. The new rule says that anyone who self-identifies as being the opposite sex can go to the restroom of their choice. Key words here are ANYONE WHO SELF-IDENTIFIES. That means any guy can go anywhere he wants without anyone stopping him. And after awhile, no one will even notice him going into the women's restroom...of which will make it easy for a pervert to prey on the innocent.

While single occupancy may solve the problem in some isolated cases, it creates another. And that problem is the long lines to the one single-occupancy restroom due to the fear that some pervert will be in the women's room. Happy now?

My solution: If my wife and/or daughter go into the restroom...I'm going with them to check stalls first, then stand at the door. All I have to do is claim that I identify as a woman and the world is my oyster.

I mean, why not. We have a white woman in black face claiming to identify as a black woman while sitting as the leader of an NAACP chapter out west. Everybody's fine with it.

We have Elizabeth Warren claiming to be an Indian when she's blonde and pale as alabaster. Everybody's fine with it.

We have Donald Trump claiming to be a conservative and a serious candidate for the POTUS. Everybody's fine with it.

If you're so near-sighted that you can't comprehend the danger of men being allowed access to women's restrooms then I can't help you. I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

You're so defensive of the t****y that you don't see the danger of predators claiming to be t******s in order to gain access.

You're not seeing that the male-to-female t****y will NOW be using the women's restroom. Depending on the area, the "once male-now female" t****y will not be in a restroom with other men that want to beat them up...they'll now be in the women's restroom. Most women don't beat people up. Again, depending on the area you're in. Use caution and common sense if you have any. Therefore, the danger to the t****y is negligible.

Female-to-male t******s will now be using the men's restroom. Men aren't going to be threatened by this in any way, so the danger to the t****y is again, negligible.

NO, the real danger will be to the women and girls who will be subject to some men masquerading as a t****y to gain access.

If you can't understand this simple concept then I recommend some remedial biology and human behavioral courses.

In this context, Billy is stating that if straight people are uncomfortable with going to the restroom with t******s, then they can go to the single-occupancy restroom. He puts the onus on the majority (women/girls), not the t****y minority that created the problem in the first place. The t****y created the problem and now everyone has to be put out and scolded not to be judgmental about it.

It's the principle, not the solution to a problem that the t******s willfully created, that matters.
