I have seen no effort by the government to control or subsidize the cost of elderly patients in Nursing Homes. My costs are high but I was reading a post on Next Door Neighbor and a woman asked if anyone knew someone who would be willing to care for an elderly 97 year old man who is being charged $350.00 a day. They said it would only require the care provider to assist the man for four hours a day. At $350.00 a day x 30 days is $10500.00 per month in the assisted living nursing home. She said he will soon be going bankrupt.

Joe Biden IS NOT Helping the seniors, homeless people, victims of crime, the poor, people in assisted living, black white and minority poverty, military families, police who died or injured in the line of duty. It’s downright immoral.

Instead of these groups. He’s giving money to college grads to relieve their debt so they can use their big debt free salary to further their education, travel to Europe, buy a new car.

His student loan debt forgiveness program is sinful and, as declared by the Supreme Court, unconstitutional.

tbutkovich, I agree that the cost of nursing homes is ridiculous, that is why I have an insurance policy that will cover the cost, in case my wife and/or I need one some day. I advise people to check out the cost of such policies. I was shocked that these policies go up in cost as people get older, even though they took out these policies long before. The salesmen never told me about that when I purchased the policy. Check out several companies before buying one. In any case, helping out students with the high cost of college loans is another thing entirely. We in this country have the highest cost of higher education than any other country. If we don't help out these kids with college costs, they will not be able to go to college. If that happens, where will we get our teachers, social workers, and other important helping professions from? As a former teacher, I knew plenty of teachers that left the profession because they just couldn't make a living due to the high cost of these loans. In some states like my own, substitute teachers no longer need a college degree to get a job. It's just plain crazy. Only wealthy people will be able to become teachers. Unfortunately not enough of them want these helping professions, and the lower income folks won't be able to afford it. Another problem with not helping lower income students is that the country is much better off with an educated citizenry.

Parky, I am no expert on Paul, but according to Jewish law, any Jew that believes in the tenants of other religions are suspended from Judaism. They are not expelled from Judaism, because the faith wants to give them the option of returning to the faith. Christianity started out as a cult within Judaism, but that changed quickly. It is now a separate religion with its own theology and beliefs, many of which run contrary to Jewish beliefs, the trinity being chief among them. In our wonderful country, you have the right to join any religion you want to, or none at all. I fully believe in this right, and would defend the right to convert to any religion you want to, but if you accept beliefs that run contrary to Jewish law, you are not Jewish.

It’s amazing to appreciate who are the players in the Trump persecutions:

1) porn star (Stormy Daniels)
2) convicted perjurer (Michael Cohen)
3) convicted extortionist (Michael Avenatti)
4) adulterer and perjurer (Fani Willis)
5) adulterer and divorce fraudster (Nathan Wade)
6) corrupt pervert judge (Nipple Judge Arthur Engoron)
7) corrupt judge with family ties to prosecution (Juan Merchan)
8) crazy old pervert who fantasizes about rape and named her cat “Vagina T Fireball” (E. Jean Carroll)
9) prosecutor who has been credibly accused of international extortion schemes (Jack Smith)
10) corrupt Soros-funded prosecutor (Alvin Bragg)
11) corrupt prosecutor who campaigned off targeting Trump (Letitia James. And Fani Willis).

If you don’t understand that the criminals are in charge, you are a moron.

And a Democrat.

Lily, Many of the folks that you mentioned in your post are not a problem. George Soros is a hero of mine. He is a philanthropist that puts his money where his mouth is, by giving millions of dollars to charitable causes he believes in, and institutions here and abroad that stand up to dictators both here and abroad. He is an easy target because of his religion which happens to be Jewish. I see Jack Smith as a dedicated public servant that wants to put the criminal in chief in jail which he fully deserves.
You accuse several people of being adulterers. I don't know if that is true or not, but your hero, Donald Trump certainly is. He c***ted on all three of his wives, and had an affair with a porn star while his wife was recovering from childbirth. He has also been found responsible for three cases of fraud, with many criminal cases coming up soon. He was also found to be responsible for rape in a civil court, and has been accused by many other women of the same.
Michael Cohen is an admitted perjurer. I think it is important to remember that he committed crimes as the fixer of Donald Trump. Trump paid back his service to him by sending him to jail for a year, making him a prisoner in his own house for another and having him disbarred. It seems that loyalty is a one way street! He is no longer a fixer for Trump, but wants to pay him back by testifying against him, telling all he knows about his former boss. Every word of his testimony will be backed up by other witnesses. There is no evidence to show that the judges you mentioned are crooked in any way. They are bending over backwards to give Trump all kinds of breaks. If you or I were accused of the crimes that Trump is accused of, we would be cooling our heels in jail. Personally, I hope they put him in a dungeon for the rest of his life.
Stormy Daniels was bribed by Trump to keep her mouth shut about the affair.
I am not familiar with some of the people you mentioned in your post, so I can't comment on them. By the way, I am a proud liberal Democrat that wants to see justice done. I am not a h**er of Republicans and/or conservatives. Just Trump!!

proud, I believe that the economy has greatly improved since Trump lost the e******n. Some of the problems that the video showed are real, but for a different reason. The reason for the huge increase in gasoline is that our buddies in Saudi Arabia has decreased oil production in order to raise the price of oil. The raise in the price of groceries, cars and other products is the fault of American companies that are just plain greedy. The government can not control the price of goods and services in this country. Those companies that realize the improvement of the economy are pushing up the prices of consumer goods, are to blame. The rise in the interest rate is due to the Fed., which is using the higher interest rates to fight the recession, and it is working.
I don't see how action like Trump took as POTUS, like giving the super wealthy a two trillion dollar tax break will help the country. It certainly didn't when the criminal in chief was POTUS.

Ri-chard, I am absolutely against Chinese c*******m, just as I am against all the other kinds of tyranny in this world. I think that China is planning a way to take Taiwan back, as well as becoming the dominant power in the far East. To do this, it must have a very militarily strong establishment. It's a difficult situation. Any people that fall under the influence and power of the Chinese certainly have my sympathy. The main problem as I see it, is that we recognize that Taiwan is part of China. If that is true, then China has the right to take back Taiwan.
I don't know if you are aware that Canada has a huge population of Chinese people from Taiwan, and other places under Chinese authority like Hong Kong. What should the US, and other Western countries do? Should we allow the Chinese to take back what is legally theirs? If so, should we allow millions of Chinese under the threat of Chinese c*******m to migrate to the West? Canada has, and is prospering from the wealthy Chinese that are going there in great numbers. I went to British Columbia last year and was made aware that Vancouver and Victoria now have over a fifty percent Chinese- Canadian population. This has brought the price of condos sky high, but also prosperity.

More importantly, the emphasis on energy must be t***sformed to a policy of replacing petroleum production with renewable energy such as solar, wind, and maybe even nuclear energy if we can make it safe.

Dear Self,

I'm writing this letter as a reminder of the core values that shape a fulfilling and meaningful life. As you navigate through the hustle and bustle of daily existence, it's easy to lose sight of what truly matters. Therefore, let this letter serve as a beacon, guiding you back to the principles that should always remain at the forefront of your mind and actions: your faith in God, the importance of family, and the significance of treating everyone with kindness and respect.

First and foremost, remember that your relationship with God is the foundation upon which everything else is built. It's easy to get caught up in worldly problems and forget the eternal perspective that faith offers. Take time to nurture this relationship through prayer, meditation, and reading scripture. In moments of doubt or confusion, turn to Him for guidance and strength. Let His love and wisdom illuminate your path in every decision you make.

Family is your anchor in the tumultuous sea of life. These are the people who know you best and love you unconditionally. Cherish the time you have with them, for it is precious. Make an effort to be there for them, not just in times of celebration but, more importantly, in moments of need. Listen with empathy, offer support without judgment, and express your love and appreciation openly and often. Remember, it's not just about being present physically but emotionally and spiritually as well.

Lastly, the way you treat others can truly make a world of difference. Approach every interaction with kindness and respect, for you never know the battles others are facing. Be a source of light and encouragement to those around you. Practice empathy, and strive to understand things from others' perspectives. Small acts of kindness can ripple outwards and touch the lives of many. In a world that can often seem dark and cold, be a beacon of warmth and light.

In conclusion, let these principles guide you: faith in God as your compass, family as your anchor, and kindness and respect as the winds that propel you forward. If you can hold these values close to your heart and let them inform your actions, you will lead a life rich with purpose and joy.

With love and hope,
Bruce 123

Coos, It is clear to me that if the country follows Trumps plan to place high tariffs on cars coming in from other countries, it would lead to higher automobile prices. American auto corporations could charge even more than the already crazy prices for domestic cars, since foreign autos would cost so much more. Other countries would respond to their higher tariffs on their goods by doing the same to our goods being sold to their countries triggering a trade war which would devastate the world economy.

Secondly, Anytime Trump is called to justice for his many crimes is all right for me. It was a long process, thanks to the DOJ. I would have loved to see him prosecuted soon after these anti democratic crimes were committed. Third, the idea that Trump did nothing wrong is a flat out unt***h. I saw the invasion of the Capitol Building in real time as it happened. I saw Trump and his cronies tell his followers that they have to fight like hell, or they won't have a country, and many other s*******s statements. There are tons of evidence against Trump, including possession of all kinds of documents, including highly classified papers that never should have been taken out of the White House. All this and so much more. So far, Trumps only defense has ben to delay, delay, and delay some more in the hope that he will win the e******n, and then pardon himself. It is a legal defense, but not one that an innocent person would follow.
