It is my opinion that much of the discourse on OPP is honest enough, though highly combative in nature. I believe that posters usually simply disagree as a result of having different perspectives acquired from their life experiences. The problems in discourse may very well lie in the likelihood that political exchanges can be and often are similar in passion to religious discussions.

Imagine, if you will, a rabbi, priest or pastor trying to convince the others of their religious convictions or beliefs with the hopeful result of a spiritual or theological conversion. As respected as each of the three aforementioned may be, the odds are strongly against that coming to fruition as the result of their efforts. And, partisan/ideological zealots generally approach those with opposing political views with the fervor of religious evangelists.

As a result, on OPP, it often appears not enough for a true believer to believe as they do. All others must also believe, or the offended may become self-righteous, indignant or even angry, bitter and vindictive. Thus, OPP's political discourse often ends in being similar to the story of the boy who angrily takes his football home with him due to others not playing by his rules.

I close with a favorite quote attributed to Benjamin Franklin: "If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins."

Shall we journey to the past? Two years ago in 2016, Donald started running for president, and it seemed like it was a joke. But a hatred of him arose. A unsubstantiated hatred. Good God, if the principle of 'Love Thy Neighbor' was still alive, Donald Trump would be loved not h**ed.

In 1859 Dred Scott was decided. By 1860 the Southern states had declared secession from the union of states, because the northern states did not abide by the constitution. Congress v**ed to go to war to preserve the union of states. Are we refusing to remember this?

Remember Billy Joel with 'We didn't Start the Fire'? Now before us, we have the Executive Branch of government being obstructed in violation of the Constitution. Many people say read Article I of the Constitution, I have. But have they read Article II or III for that matter.

I can write until I am blue in the face. I can argue for Justice, freedom, and the American way. But all of that is just words and deeds swept away by the wind. It is meaningless if no one will take heed on to the words I speak and write.

Some Americans hear the words but do not listen. So the solution is Socialism? What a big mistake! N**i Germany was Socialist on the side of F*****m. The USSR, the union of the soviet socialist republic, was socialist on the side of c*******m. America is Capitalist and Democratic but most importantly it is a free republic. We are the manufacturers of life, liberty, freedom, prosperity and justice. We are fair! The media is not. Lobbyists are not.

Now is the time when it all comes to a head. Where will you be? What will you be? Will you be a s***e or free? Donald is leading us to freedom. His enemies are leading us to s***ery. What do you want? Do you want to be free to decide your destiny or ens***ed in a ruling class of people. It is your choice. Either we become the world as Michael Jackson says, and we Let it be, like John Lennon wrote. While 'Mother Mary speaking words of wisdom' or we end up creating our own destruction. What say you America?!

In the alternative universe that orbits around the Clintons and the establishment career, political cronies of Washington, D.C., the rule of equal judicial law does not apply. Allegations of pay to play have dogged the Clintons for years, reaching its zenith during Hillary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State. Along with numerous reports of other countries making sizable donations into the Clinton Foundation in order to receive preferential treatment with the Obama Administration. The biggest disaster from the viewpoint of national security was the Uranium One deal with the Russians, giving Russia a large portion of the United States uranium. A deal that had to be signed off by then President Obama and most of the Obama Administration’s state, security agencies and justice department directors.

You would think such behavior would be front and center in the news, but it’s not, the Press acts as an enabler by looking the other way or acting as a supporter. The press slobbers over all things Obama and Clinton but will snarl at anything that’s in the middle of the road or remotely to the right. The so-called Department of Justice also looks the other way, ignoring cover-ups, destruction of evidence and has been involved install tactics that have stopped Republican congressional investigations in their tracks. The old crony establishment politicians from both parties are doing their best to protect each other by sweeping things under the rug. During the ongoing Russian Collusion witch hunt that is going after President Trump, the Department of Justice leadership ignored all things Clinton but aided the witch hunt to depose the establishment outsider Donald Trump.

This kind of corruption festers among career politicians who entire focus is getting re-elected and what’s in it for them, the only way to curtail this behavior is term limits. They come to the Congress deep in debt owing to their big donors and they leave years later as multi-millionaires. Some of these bought and paid for denizens of the Washington Swamp have parked in Congress from 20-40 years, they live in the Washington D.C. area and rarely visit the districts that they are supposed to represent. When we get a politician who is really trying to do the right thing, they are alienated, crushed and finally spit out after a couple of terms by the establishment, good old boy politicians.



Buried underneath all of the corruption is the specter of socialism operating with the express purpose of establishing a socialist government in the U.S. Starting with former President Obama, who was raised in a family of c*******t revolutionaries and socialist. The former head of the C.I.A., Brennan supported c*******m and never should have had a security clearance. Then there is Hillary Clinton who embraced Saul Alinsky’s brand of Soviet Union Socialism as his college intern. And we can’t forget self-proclaimed socialist Senator Bernie Sanders, who is preaching socialist doctrine.





There are two camps of socialism vying for control of the U.S., those who seek international socialism that is controlled by the despots of the United Nations and those who want the single-party system of National Socialism in the U.S. They are able to operate virtually unhindered by corrupt politicians who could care less and are out to enrich themselves, enjoying all of the trappings of power of the office that they squat in has to offer. The only way to stop this behavior is to inform the public of the dangers of left-wing socialism, expose and throw out the derelict and corrupt politicians, and v**e in those who will honor the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Sponsor of VA’s Radical A******n Bill Introduced Bug Protection Bill on Same Day

On the same day that Virginia Delegate Kathy Tran introduced a bill that would legalize a******n up until the moment of birth, she also proposed a bill to protect a bug.

“This bill helps to save our birds and butterflies by protecting the fall cankerworm (caterpillar), an important food source for birds and their young during their breeding and migratory season,” Tran’s campaign website explains.

The bill, which was filed Jan. 9, would ban communities from spraying to eliminate cankerworms between March 1 and Aug. 1. The proposal is under consideration in the House of Delegates.

Tran’s cankerworm bill received far less noticed than a bill she also filed the same day that would change the rules for late-term a******ns. Tran said the bill “eliminates medically unnecessary and unduly burdensome requirements that make it difficult for women to access a******ns.”

A video of her comments in support of the bill was posted on YouTube.

During a hearing on the bill, Republican House Majority Leader Todd Gilbert questioned if, under Tran’s proposal, an a******n could be performed up until the moment of birth.

“Where it’s obvious that a woman is about to give birth. She has physical signs that she is about to give birth. Would that still be a point at which she could request an a******n if she was so-certified — she’s dilating,” he said.

“Mr. Chairman, that would be … a decision that the doctor, the physician and the woman would make at that point,” Tran replied.

“I understand that. I’m asking if your bill allows that,” Gilbert said.

“My bill would allow that, yes,” Tran replied.

Many took to Twitter to express outrage at Tran’s proposal.

“I made a mistake, and all I know to do is to admit it, tell the t***h, and let the chips fall where they may,” Adams said.

Adams said the scenario Gilbert described would classify as a “partial birth infanticide” that would be illegal under state law.

“This remains a crime and would not be something any sane licensed physician would perform,” Adams said. “The code is very specific and clear about what this means and it is different from an a******n, even late term.”
