Yes . . . this discussion has degenerated into meaninglessness. And we all seem to be guilty of it . . . it's sad to see this too. We had some 'on topic' comments together earlier on. The thing about religion, I have found, is that it seems to be more philosophical and perhaps emotional . . . which doesn't lend to any real logic or scientific explanation. Although people do seem to want to have more substantial justification for why they believe what they believe. You did ask why do we need more . . . and I sense it has something to do with knowing by more than blind faith. Yet it also seems to boil down to faith in the end.

You're disregarding them as scientist even though their fields of study ARE fields of science! Just because they are Christian apologists does not mean they are ignorant of the scientific procedure of determining fact! By not addressing what they said! Regardless of their credentials, they have made a point that you have disregarded by debunking them BECAUSE of their lack of your acceptable credentials! You have prejudged them based on a lack of . . . or inadequate credentials! That is an attack on their character . . . and it TOTALLY skirts the subject or point being made by them!!!

I find it extremely exasperating when the character of people is addressed instead of the arguments posed! What it really boils down to is this . . . how great is your God? To think God doesn't care about us, knows who we are, minds what we do, answers prayer, cares about body parts being sawed off, minds about fornication . . . well, that is a very impish god indeed!!!
