Take a sheet of paper make five columns and list in column one the name everything you buy this week, including brand names of products and amounts/sizes. At the top of the second column put in today's date. In the second column aside of the name of each product you bought put in the price you paid. At the top of column 3 put in a date three months from the date at the top off the second column. At the top of column 4 put in a date six months from the date at the top of the second column. In the fourth column put in a date nine months from the date at the top of the second column. And finally in the fifth column put at the top a date 12 months at the date at the top of the first column.
In each column put in the price on the date at the top of the column of the products listed in the first column. Total each column. You now have the information needed to gauge inflation in your neighborhood.
Aren't the older coal run plants being phased out because it is too expensive to install anti-polution machinery?
I've heard it said hundreds of time that Obama was a socialist. If Obama was a socialist, then let's have more of socialism.
Why do you think that people who disagree with you h**e America? You must be a Russian agent sowing division.
Trump has a solid base of Anti-a******n evangelicals, gun rights purists, w***e s*********ts, g****l w*****g deniers, the greedy rich and macho s**theads. Nothing he does will shake their support, no matter how bad the economy will get. I've always contended that Obama was elected only because the Republicans had driven the economy to the edge of the cliff and they were exposed to the regular v**er for the incompetents they are. He can be engaging when he tells people things that are obviously on the surface good. The reopening of a steel plant is good; the higher prices resulting from the more expensive steel it produces not so good. This Republican has the economy headed for the cliff again; it's only a matter of time.
I like it when they say that most of the benefits of the Trump tax cut went to the rich like Trump himself, that it won't pay for itself and that the deficits will explode. What dopes.
I think you can make a reasonable case for the proposition that everything Trump does is harming the country.
I tried to watch it, but I didn't have the time to finish it. Sorry..
Every time Trum calls the free press an enemy of the people he is destroying in a small way the value of free speech which makes this country great.
I have noticed that Trump supporters become increasingly shriller as Trump and his decisions become more clearly unhinged.
Trump and his supporters are so delusional I fear reality will have no influence on them no matter how destructive their actions become.
If Truump can abolish taxes all together, the GDP might get to 10%.
I didn't listen to the link. Why should I spend part of my life listening to a liar.
There was a recession in Reagan's first two years and the inflation rate was in the teens. Paul Voulker as the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank raised the interest rate to 20% to stop it. As would happen when taxes are cut but spending is not, the deficit increases. Remember Vodoo economics. Read David Stockman's book "The Triumph of Politics: Why the Reagan Revolution Failed". He was Reagan's finance chief. Deficits increased so much that Reagan sponsored tax increases twice. The share of the economic growth for the middle class stagnated as it has since then.
Next thing they'll be telling you that Reagan won the Cold war.
On track; sure, come back next January and tell where the track lead. Three percent GDP growth minus three percent inflation equals zero. That's the end of the line.
