Life Under A Constitutional Republic vs. Socialism

My heart's desire is that I can here help people to better understand living in a Constitutional Republic vs a Socialist Government, which some are strongly advocating.

If I can't do that in an effective manner, it is not because of you. It is because of my poor ability to properly explain it. If you believe in Socialism or are not sure before reading this and still do after considering it, then I have failed, and apologize for wasting your time. It's a bit lengthy but please read it. It will take only a couple of minutes.

Most are aware of Ben Franklin's famous reply when asked as he emerged from the Constitutional Convention, what have you done in there? “We have given you a Republic, if you can keep it.”

It is of utmost importance to here and now understand that Democracy is not found in any Founding Document, Socialist is not found in any founding Document, much less Socialist Democracy!!

Franklin's description of Democracy, “Democracy is two wolves and a lamb v****g on what to have for dinner.” Thomas Jefferson said, “Democracies are dangerous because a Democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.” Because of that understanding the United States was formed as a Republic.

Socialism is government regulation and control of all aspects of your personal life and businesses. Combining Democracy and Socialism is doubling up on the evils of both. So called “Democratic Socialism” would completely wipe away the Constitutional Republic we were given, and Individual Freedom with control over our own lives and businesses would be gone forever.

The United States was formed as a Republic by design, in order to substantially limit the government's power and to protect “natural individual rights.” Your rights of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness are “natural” not government allowed. We formed our government, it did not form us.

Individual Freedom is your right or power to act, speak, or think as you want without hindrance or restraint in your “life” with complete “liberty” to “pursue your own happiness.”

Socialism or “Democratic Socialism” is the exact opposite of a Constitutional Republic. Your life, lived with the liberty to pursue your happiness unhindered and unrestrained, is not allowed in a Socialist government. The movement to destroy our Constitutional Republic and replace it with a Socialist government is led by those people who identify themselves as Democratic Socialists, C*******ts, Progressives, Liberals, and others. The most common in the United States presently are “Democratic Socialists” and “Progressives.” No matter what the label, make no mistake, all are Socialism in some form and will eventually lead to complete control of the way we are allowed to live.

It is an undisputed fact that people are escaping Socialist countries by the tens of thousands from all over the world and legally coming to the United States for refuge and the freedom to pursue their dreams and happiness. Very few, if any, ever return to the country from whence they came. This isn't even considering the many millions coming illegally. I have honestly tried with all my might, unsuccessfully, to understand why anyone whether in politics or just an everyday working American sitting at home reading this would think it okay to change our government to one like those people are escaping from.

Some time ago a Cuban Refugee who risked his life to come by a small boat to the U.S., was explaining to an American friend the horrific conditions he left behind. His friend said, man I am so lucky. The Cuban replied, “YOU'RE lucky, I had someplace to escape to.”

I hope all can understand, we won't go to bed one night in a Constitutional Republic and wake up the next morning in a Socialist State. It has never happened that way. It happens a little bite at a time. An apple is eaten one bite at a time until it is devoured.

The leaders of all Socialist nations who now control almost every aspect of the lives of their citizens were v**ed into office by the people, being promised everything will be free and e******y for all, the poor sharing the good life of the rich. What actually happened the rich have wound up sharing in the misery of the poor. But all are now equal, equally poor. The only rich are those leading the Socialist government. You can v**e your way into Socialism but you can't v**e your way out. You can't v**e your way out because the Socialist leaders won't give up their power. If they have to use the military to keep it, they do so.

The man running for re-e******n for president of the United States on the Democrat Party ticket, Joe Biden, and several reading this, (paraphrasing Ayn Rand) believe you have no right to exist for your own sake, that your life and your work do not belong to you, but belongs to society, that the only justification of your existence is your service to society, and that society may dispose of you in any way it pleases for the sake of wh**ever it deems to be its own collective good.

November 5, in six months, we will have a huge decision to make. Do we keep our Constitutional Republic with our Individual Freedom to control our own lives with the liberty to pursue our happiness or do we exchange it for a Socialist government controlling our lives, restricting our liberty and dictating what they deem to be our happiness?

We have a Republic, if we can keep it. The decision rests in our hands.

Modern day brainwashed normies of "Ukraine" -- having been suckled on toxic G*******t teats dripping irrational hatred for their Russian brothers for several decades -- now take offense to the use of "the" as a prefix for their "nation." But the facts of real history show how foolish this artificial "nationalism" really is.

A new report said that an incident involving a fight among Secret Service agents took place Monday morning.

According to the Washington Examiner, an armed agent who was part of the protective detail for Vice President Kamala Harris scuffled with other agents at Joint Base Andrews near Washington, D.C.

Secret Service Chief of Communications Anthony Guglielmi offered a summary of the episode, which he framed as a medical incident.

“At approximately 9 a.m. April 22, a U.S. Secret Service special agent supporting the vice president’s departure from Joint Base Andrews began displaying behavior their colleagues found distressing,” he said.

“The agent was removed from their assignment while medical personnel were summoned,” he said.

“The vice president was at the Naval Observatory when this incident occurred, and there was no impact on her departure from Joint Base Andrews,” he said.

“The U.S. Secret Service takes the safety and health of our employees very seriously. As this was a medical matter, we will not disclose any further details,” he said.

“When the special agent in charge and a detail shift supervisor attempted to calm the agent, a physical altercation ensued. The agent was handcuffed before being withdrawn from service for medical assessment,” the report said.

Journalist Susan Crabtree offered some other details in a post on X.

“Sources within the Secret Service community tell me the agent assigned to VP Kamala Harris was armed during the fight – that the gun was secured in the agent’s holster until other agents physically restrained the agent and took the gun from the agent’s possession,” she posted.

Crabtree said there are internal concerns over the incident.

“I’m also told there are DEI concerns among the USSS community about the hiring of this agent. Other agents and officers within the USSS are asking questions about the agent’s hiring process, whether the USSS did enough to look into the agent’s background and monitor the agent’s mental well-being because there have been widespread concerns about other strange behavior before this incident,” she wrote.

Neither Crabtree nor the Examiner published the agent’s name.

From attacking the Supreme Court as a “rogue” court for failing to follow Democrats’ orders to seriously calling President Joe Biden “a person with a great vision for America — of fairness, justice and inclusiveness,” Pelosi was on a roll.

But the 84-year-old congresswoman’s worst remarks might be those she spouted on the Israel-Hamas war.

Now, Democrats have been placed in a precarious situation by the conflict in the Middle East. While much of the party’s younger v**er base has vociferously advocated for the Palestinians, most sane folk, Democrat or otherwise, have favored Israel.

Indeed, even if many of the war crimes falsely attributed to Israel were true, it still would be hard to fault its response considering the brutality and savagery of Hamas’ terrorist attacks on the nation on Oct. 7.

But Biden is woefully unpopular with the November e******n fast approaching, so Pelosi must do what she can to make him seem more appealing to those all-important young v**ers.

Therefore, the former speaker saw fit to condemn Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s methods of waging war.

“We recognize Israel’s right to protect itself,” she said. “We reject the policy and the practice of Netanyahu — terrible. What could be worse than what he has done in response?”

Of course, she failed to go into much detail, but how on earth could Netanyahu’s response to the brutal attacks be construed as “terrible”?

Even worse than condemning the head of state of one of the United States’ biggest allies, Pelosi went one step further and called for Netanyahu to step down.

“He should resign. He’s ultimately responsible,” the congresswoman said.

How in the world did Pelosi think she was at liberty to call for the leader of a free nation under attack to resign, especially considering Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was criticized for the same thing back in March?

If a powerful foreign leader said the same thing about Biden, useless as he has been, the Democrats would be up in arms.

Pelosi’s comments were patently ridiculous and hypocritical.

If anything, Israel’s response to a brutal and unprovoked terrorist attack has been more measured than any response the U.S. had in the past two decades.

Indeed, how else was Israel supposed to respond to the slaughter, rape and kidnapping of innocent men, women and children by Hamas?

Wasn’t the brutal attack directly targeting civilians more “terrible” than anything Israel has done in response?

How did Pelosi really think Israel should respond?

It seems as though the former speaker, like many other leaders of her party, thought Israel should have just laid down and taken it.

AChristian pro-life activist who survived a c*******t concentration camp in post-war Yugoslavia is now making peace with the possibility she may not outlast the Biden administration.

Eva Edl, 88, has long been familiar with the consequences of dehumanization. After the N**i forces were routed in Europe and the war at large was coming to an end, Edl, not yet 10 years old, was tossed into one of c*******t dictator Josip "Tito" Broz's concentration camps in Yugoslavia along with thousands of other Danube Schwabians who had been collectively branded as N**i collaborators by Tito's c*******t Partisans and targeted for their German ethnic backgrounds.

Edl told WJBF-TV, "We were considered to be non-human. It was just permission for torture and k*****g by the government."

In camp Gakowa, Edl indicated she ended up losing all of the skin on her legs and was hobbled by sores. "People gagged when they came near me," she said. "The flies and the fleas and the lice, and the bed bugs just loved this festering body."

Edl and her remaining family members ultimately managed to escape into Austria. After spending several years in refugee camps, they made it to the United States where she now might die in prison for defending the lives of the biggest cohort of dehumanized people, slaughtered by the tens of millions globally every year.

The Biden Department of Justice charged Eva Edl, 88, and 10 other pro-life activists in October 2022 for violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act — a law ratified in 1994 by former President Bill Clinton. The pro-life activists had staged a peaceful protest inside the Carafem a******n clinic in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, on March 5, 2021, singing and praying in support of those persons who had and would be slain deeper inside the abattoir.

Earlier this month, Edl and the final four of the 11 pro-life activists were convicted. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Tennessee indicated the octogenarian faces up to six months in prison, five years of supervised released, and up to $10,000 in fines. It appears she was spared what could otherwise have been over a decade in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 because of the strictly nonviolent nature of her perceived offense.

Edl recently told the Daily Signal in an interview, "When I was indicted, I began to prepare to die there."

"Right now, I'm ambivalent," she continued. "I'm doing the best I can to get ready. Haven't talked to a funeral director yet."

"I'm just being sensible," added Edl. "There's no guarantee that I survive it."

Edl explained to the Daily Signal that her activism started when the issue was brought to her attention during an English course in 1968.

"I didn't know what [a******n] meant," she said. "I tried to speak up in that subject, but I must have done a very bad job because I don't think I convinced the person that I was speaking with. And after that, I just brought the subject up all the time because it bothered me that people would actually think of k*****g their own children."

She made clear to her husband that inaction was unacceptable.

"We are doing what we are condemning others for," Edl recalled telling her husband. "This is what people should have done for us."

Edl began actively protesting a******n and staging rescues in the late 1980s, which landed her in jail even before Clinton signed the FACE Act into law.

Despite her conviction earlier this month, Edl maintains her actions were justified, certain that such protests can spare babies' lives today just as similar protests could have saved multitudes of lives in the mid-20th century.

"When we were rounded up to be k**led, we were placed in cattle cars, and our train was headed toward the extermination camp. What if citizens of my country would have overcome their fear, and a number of them stood on those railroad tracks between the gate of the entrance to the death camp and the train?" said Edl. "The train would have to stop. And while the guards on those trains would be busy rounding up the ones that were in front of the train, another group could have come in, pried open our cattle car and possibly set us free, but nobody did."

"When we place our bodies between the woman and the clinic, we buy time to get our sidewalk counselors the opportunity to speak with women, and hopefully open their hearts with love for their babies and let their babies live," said Edl.

Tommy Valentine, the director of accountability at CatholicV**e, suggested in an op-ed Monday, "It is unquestionable that Eva and her pro-life compatriots' prosecutions are intended to send a message. The FBI and Department of Justice have prosecuted nonviolent pro-life offenders with the FACE Act, while turning a blind eye to the violent, ongoing and terrifying attacks on other institutions protected by the FACE Act: churches and pregnancy help centers."

Valentine noted that while Edl is likely headed to prison, the Biden DOJ has "failed to federally prosecute a single one of the more than 400 egregious FACE Act violations against Catholic Churches since May 2020, or to meaningfully address the 90 attacks on pregnancy resource centers across the nation since May 2022."

Last year, Republicans Rep. Chip Roy (Texas) and Sen. Mike Lee (Utah) proposed legislation that would repeal the FACE Act.

"Free Americans should never live in fear of their government targeting them because of their beliefs. Yet, Biden's Department of Justice has brazenly weaponized the FACE Act against normal, everyday Americans across the political spectrum, simply because they are pro-life," Roy said in a statement.

Lee stated, "Joe Biden's DOJ has weaponized this constitutionally dubious law against pro-life sidewalk counselors while failing to protect pregnancy centers and churches from arson, vandalism, and violence. It's time to repeal the FACE Act once and for all."

The Mail-Order Mystery
