My first advice--- lose the apology, leave that to Obamass! If you believe, say Merry Christmas! Don't ever pull a C*****r Barrel. Have a thick skin and wear it proudly.

Welcome to the land of the politically incorrect where we say Merry Christmas and are friendly to all regardless of their ill conceived l*****t ideals.

Here's hoping Santa overfills your CHRIST- MAS tree.

fascinating! I had no intent of apologizing with my greeting. Just an admittance that I am not comfortable with Happy Holidays. I have followed the Duck Dynasty thing with mild interest. I do have an opinion, but I think that I noticed a thread that I will read before I add, or not, a comment.

I am religious, so I always leave Christ in my Christmas.

There is no shame in being yourself! I will be myself, and if I step on a toe or two .... so be it. I will always be civil, and when I am wrong, I will not have a problem saying so. There is no pretense in me....

I appreciate your advice and will take it to heart.

Merry Christmas!

Perfectly written, dead-on assessment of where this country stands politically. The Republicans are at a fork in the road. Will they adapt to changing demographics and social norms, like the Tories in the U.K. or will they travel the path to extinction like the Whig party? Lindsay Graham was most astute, in noting that they are just not making angry white men at the rate they used to. The Republicans can still be relevant....if they choose to......

Actually, I beg to differ. The article was written at a 3d grade level, by an individual who has an opinion that may or may not be valid. It is regrettable that so many of the articles written by extremist, whether left or right, are not documented, are shallow and lacks any brilliance whatsoever! Although the author and you are in agreement that agreement does not make either of you right or wrong. Just very opinionated.

Very sage advice! I am here to exchange ideas and to learn. I am not necessarily here to make everlasting friendships, but should it happen that would be lovely.

Thank you for the warm welcome; and indeed I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

It would have been helpful to know if you are a liberal or Conservative. It doesn't matter. Just reply to any post and you will find out very quickly who is naughty and who is nice. Welcome Aboard .....MERRY CHRISTMAS LOCK AND LOAD

Thank you so very much! I am conservative, and having read some of the comments made by a few, I guess I should not have asked my questions.

I too wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Interesting article. When one goes to the extremes, there are always people who can claim just the opposite. For example, the article you site asks the question of whether or not the GOP has become "angry white" men. So, it begs the question. Has the Liberal extremes become a safe zone for angry "non w****s?" If one considers the v****g base of both parties, it seems that there is more than political differences; but race, citizenship, and fundamental views on religion that separates the parties. Perhaps if both parties can take a step (at the same time) toward the middle a compromise could be had that will be healthy for both sides. And what is healthy for the individuals can not be other than healthy for our nation.

To all,

Merry Christmas! I know, not PC but I just have not gotten Happy Holidays as words that come natural.

I would like to know, and due to my newness to this site, who should I avoid? I am here to respond and discuss things, and I am not here to be pushed around or push anyone else.

Who are your brightest? Who do you think I can learn from? Who consistently post information worth reading and to whom I would want to respond?

In advance, thank you!
