Why is America a t*****r to itself??

You know that saying about prophets: "A prophet is without honor in his own family and in his own country." That is because they speak what their family and their country do not want to hear.

Anyway, what I find comforting is what God said to Jeremiah: "I ordained you a prophet to the nations". Plural. All peoples of the world are God's peoples.

He's very typical of an America which has a stereotypical view of "Russia" and Russians. We sometimes forget that we were allies in WWII.

Americans simply don't pay attention or think too much for themselves. Maybe all peoples of the world are guilty of that.

My friends in Russia and my friends here who have married Russian people and done business over there have a much different attitude about it.

Too many judge Russia forever based upon Lenin and Stalin. I certainly hope they don't judge the American people on the likes of Obama and Bush. I could name a few others.

Salt needs to compare the US actions over the past 50 years compared to those of Russia.

I'm having a hard time NOT judging Americans on the basis of one arrogant i***t---salt.

No, just pretty! Why are you a t*****r to the US?

Putin has been asked to take on the challenges now confronting the world. America is weak, decadent and matriarchal; she cannot help anyone.

Why do you care?

You already know me---
I am the former "CarolSeer2016". Kira is the Russian form of Carol, and it is also the name of the protagonist in Ayn Rand's "We the Living." Thought it was apropos for the times.

Carol, If you love Russia so much, go there. I'm sure that you would be very happy living under the Putin dictatorship. By the way, I don't give a rat's ass if you like my comments or not. As long as you promote an advisory of the United States and a corrupt dictatorship, I will comment on it!

I told you, get lost. Nothing you say is of any consequence. Are you deaf AND dumb?

President Barack Obama approved the $400 million t***sfer, which he had announced in January as part of the Iran nuclear deal. The money was flown into Iran on wooden pallets stacked with Swiss francs, euros and other currencies as the first installment of a $1.7 billion settlement resolving claims at an international tribunal at The Hague over a failed arms deal under the time of the Shah.

The $400 million was Iran's to start with, placed into a US-based trust fund to support American military equipment purchases in the 1970s. When the Shah was ousted by a 1979 popular uprising that led to the creation of the Islamic Republic, the US froze the trust fund. Iran has been fighting for a return of the funds through international courts since 1981.
In announcing the agreement, Obama said that paying the $400 million -- plus $1.3 billion in interest -- was saving American taxpayers billions of dollars. The Iranians had been seeking more than $10 billion at arbitration.
"For the United States, this settlement saved us billions of dollars that could have been pursued by Iran," Obama said in January. "There was no benefit to the United States in d**gging this out."

In return for the US citizens' release, the US dropped extradition requests for 14 Iranian citizens and freed seven. Former FBI agent Robert Levinson, who disappeared in Iran in 2007, remains missing.

Come on.... Its clearly just a coincidence.

How could a secret shipment of foreign palletized cash delivered on the same day as the hostages were released possibly be related to the hostages?

Only a h********c Islamophobic r****t could connect the two.

Because Iran said so?

Along with FEMA camps, Big Foot, T***hers, Birthers, alien abduction, Atlantis, Yeti, and so many other urban legends, wacky ideas, and conspiracy theories, we have the best: "massive v***r f***d." This is the only way Obama could have been elected twice, or so the nut cases claim. Yet any search for v***r f***d in any state, the majority of which are totally controlled by Republicans, the crazies are defeated. (http://v****grights.news21.com/article/e******n-f***d/) (http://www.bradblog.com/?p=9481) So why are so many Republican dominated states looking to make it harder to v**e, and harder to v**e for minorities (mostly Democrat supporters)? Duh! Do you really need to ask?

We had the famous remarks of a PA legislature claim that there new v**er law would help Romney get elected. And recently we have had a number of states "v**er-suppression" bills--Yes, v**er suppression bills!--overturned by appeals courts for their blatant r****m. Read this: https://www.washingtonpost.com/posteverything/wp/2016/08/03/courts-are-finally-pointing-out-the-r****m-behind-v**er-id-laws/

Do you not agree, rumi, that only one who is competent enough to obtain his own v**er ID card is competent enough to make wise v****g decisions?

A wise v****g decision is one in which the v**er decides what he thinks would be for the good of the country, and not, as Turd would have you believe, in his own self-interest.

One who v**es for his own self-interest is v****g for himself only; screw the other dude.

Now perhaps you can see why America has, and is, in decline.
