Actually; history shows us that in politics the symbiotic relationship you espouse is not mutually beneficial. It is more a parasitism where the liberals suck the blood from America while the conservatives keep swatting at liberals like they would a bunch of mosquitoes. The proof is in the resulting cases of v***l encephalitis which this once great country has been infected with.

As a former officer, I would suggest we just say there are both capable and not so swift in both the Officer and NCO ranks.

People are different and have different capabilities.

The same applies for civilians.

Actually, I think the Warrant Officers hold the title of most capable. After all, most are NCO's who grew up.

You have to sorta excuse the likes of IYF... After all IYF would have been one of the first to run away and leave friends in the line of fire. Cowards do that, while sounding all so brave when hiding behind their computer monitor and running their keyboard at full power.

My favorite descriptive term applies to IYF.................."Dumb Ass!"

This post is not aimed at the shooter, the victims or even the twits who want to jump on the anti-gun bandwagon.

This is a post giving thanks to the emergency responders which ran to the sound of the gun - not away from it.

I am of course talking about the armed responders first then the support responders last.

First were the police, federal officers, military police etc. You saw them... Police cars racing to the scene of the shooter with the intent to end the carnage. Little thought for their safety, the trials of their families if they themselves were k**led in the line of duty. We have seen this over and over, again and again.

Second we should appreciate the efforts of the medical teams which also rushed to the scene, putting their training to immediate use as they helped stabilize the horribly wounded.

Yes! While all those without any defense and threatened with death were rushing from the terror, our hero's were mentally prepared and equipped to put down the shooter (or shooters) and it was they, who were rushing into the danger.

Once again we have seen action from the brave -- and will now be bombarded with worthless words from the cowards.

We should be proud of our brave, and very careful not to celebrate the cowards.

Speaking of visiting the doctors or dentist office.

It has always been a source of aggravation when the receptionist at the doctors office wants you to explain the reason for your visit, in front of all the other patients sitting in the waiting room.

To wit. I am reminded of the story where a 72 year old gentlemen arrived at the nurses station in the doctors waiting room, only to have the nurse ask what he needed. He replied "This is a personal visit and I would like to talk privately with the doctor"

The nurse; being self obsessed told him that she had a form to fill out and it would help the doctor prepare for his consult, and therefore she had to insist he tell her the reason for his visit. He replied "I want to discuss a problem I am having with my dick!"

The nurse rose from her chair and said that his choice of words was totally inappropriate and he should not say things like that. He replied: "What should I have said?" The nurse suggested that he should have said something like I am having a problem with my ear.

Now the whole waiting room was listening intently to the conversation and he could feel the stares in his back, so he just turned around and left the waiting room. Then on second thought he decided he would not put up with that pompous butch, turned around and returned to the desk.

The nurse looked up, sighed, and asked him what he wanted. He replied "I need to see my doctor about my ear" The nurse smiled and said: That's better sir, and what shall I tell the doctor is wrong with your ear?

With a crooked smile and a twinkle in his eye the old man replied I can't piss out of it! and the whole waiting room burst out laughing.

Now I am sure there is a moral to this story, but at my age, I forgot what it was.

Dumb Ass! The blood has yet to dry on the floors and you want to run your stupid mouth and show your ignorance.
