Trooper, yes, I knew this and still p**** me off. However, while most vet are right wing, myself and a number that I know are liberal. Do not forget the GOP did and tried many paths to erase the Nam war from Americas thinking.. Vet programs were practically non-excistant for years, the VA funding was cut, agent orange was denied, education funding was all of $100/mo for most of us. A long list, which is owned by republicans as well as Democrats..

So we do have a bunch of vets who are liberal. That does not mean we have forgotten or forgiven the deeds of politicians of both parties..

i very seriously doubt you'll find but maybe very few vets unless maybe they are homosexual, atheist or not a christian that would support these socialist democrats, and i'll agree that these rino progressives backing them aren't helping, we need more constitution loving conservatives up there

Sarah Palin had a one-night stand with Miami Heat basketball star Glen Rice less than a year before she eloped with her husband, the book claims.

She is said to have met Glen Rice in 1987 when he was playing in a college basketball tournament in Alaska and Sarah Palin worked as a sports reporter for KTUU television.

The book also claimed that Sarah Palin had a six-month affair with Brad Hanson, who ran a snowmobile dealership with her husband Todd. The betrayal led to Todd Palin dissolving the business.

In a bid to expose Sarah Palin’s skeletons, Joe McGinness has studied the former vice p**********l candidate for three years and last year even moved in to a home next door in Wasilla, Alaska, to dig some more.

McGinness writes that after college Sarah Palin developed a “fetish” for black men.

Palin allegedly had a tryst with basketball star Glen Rice in her younger sister Molly’s University of Alaska dorm room, while she was dating Todd and just nine months before the couple were married.

Sarah Palin got pregnant with Todd and they eloped in August 1988.

Palins son Track, the oldest of five, was born eight months later in April 1989.

According to the National Enquirer, a friend said Sarah Palin spent the night with the basketball star but could not confirm whether they had sex.

“I remember Sarah feeling pretty good that she’d been with a black basketball star,” the source told the magazine.

Glen Rice is said to have confirmed the night of passion in Joe McGinniss’s book.

The book goes on to claim that while married Sarah Palin also had an affair with her husband’s business partner, Brad Hanson.

Todd Palin is alleged to have ended all businesses with Brad Hanson after he found out about the affair in 1996.

Since you claim to be Christian, your comment is unkind and un-called for and a discredit to believers everywhere. Jesus would be really proud of your application of "Love your enemies..."

love the sinner, not the sin, since she's married to someone that doesn't want god in their lives, it's known as righteous judging, like i said i agreed with all of it except the very last part of obamas ancestors

Sorry, waker. It was in response to the responses to the joke. We're admonished to rise above. If we continue to do that, there will be no conservatives to speak of. Yes we have standards and the joke, although funny, did twang my conscience. They don't seem hobbled by "standards ". How do we combat that? Our repubs are weak kneed or in on it. How else to explain their ineptitude in dealing with this morass. I would consider someone on either side a hero if they would just stand for US. Speak with courage act with resolve. How long since we saw that?

A little girl wrote to Sarah Palin asking, "How did the human race start?". Sarah Palin answered, "God made Adam and Eve, they had children and all mankind was made."

The next day the little girl wrote to michelle obama and asked the same question. Michelle obama answered, "Many years ago there were monkeys in africa from which the human race evolved."

The confused girl went to her father and asked, "How come Sarah Palin told me that mankind was created by God, and michelle obama told me mankind evolved from monkeys?"

Her father answeres, "Well, it's very simple . . . Sarah Palin told you about her ancestors, and michelle obama told you about hers!"

If I had to bet, I'd say Cruz will be the nominee. He's sharp and I have nothing against him. A great speaker too. But many are fed up with all politicians. That's one reason to get Carson to run. He's said he would if the American people want him. He's traveling the USA on a book tour promoting his book "One Nation". I just finished it and is a must read!!

i like him but his comment on guns turned off a lot of people, not getting my hopes up, last i looked at the polls cruz was far ahead of the others, i have no problem if mr. cruz goes to 1600

Sarah is great but the media will try to destroy her. Her books were terrific and I've heard her speak twice. Doubt if the RINOS would ever nominate her again , which is sad because she really cleaned up Alaska.

good point, that's why i have a list, if the gop don't wake up and nominate a real conservative i'll go with libertarian, i'm unaffiliated for good reason

Dr. Ben Carson is my choice! Read his books America the Beautiful and One Nation. This man is the real deal AND he's not a bloviating politician

i would v**e for him if nominated but my top pick is sarah palin, after what she did to the corrupt gop in alaska i hope she gets it, i also have no problem with west, cruz or cain as long as their a real conservative not some progressive rino

I consider myself a Republican only due to stated conservative values by the party; not based on last two e******ns' performance. Anyone could see what an empty suit Obama-lama-ding-dong was/is and yet they v**ed him in, twice!

even though i've always been unaffiliated, even registered that way for over 10 years, i'm an extremely conservative christian, if the defunct gop doesn't noiminate some real conservatives as in tea party instead of rino progressives i'll consider them no better than the socialists

The youngster took the boss to Sacramento to catch a flight home to Houston where the eastern district office is located.

He will be busy preparing for two new projects. One in Houston and the other in Louisiana.

That left me to make both the morning and afternoon log and inspections at the crater.

After the first round, I went over to Chiloquin and joined the Klamath natives having service at the community center. I couldn't stay long but I enjoyed all I could before heading back to the crater,

The Sunday afternoon traffic around the crater was surprisingly busy. This is probably the most popular park we have studied so far.

I like to imagine this place as it was before humans discovered it. I think that maybe if I had been the first man to see this place, I may have been inclined to keep it a secret.

Well, one more day of Crater Lake. It's sure been a splendid experience.
