GM did go bankrupt and the investors got completely shafted, only the UAW was a winner. Screw the shareholders? The non union employees got the short end.
Tell me how wanting fiscal responsibility is somehow bad for the country? How is it selfish to want a balanced budget ? Every private citizen has to balance their budget, because we can't just print money. Quantitative easing has propped up the market and widened the economic divide to unprecedented levels. I've been retired for ten years, and my money has been in a free fall since Obama took office.
Obama has run bigger deficits than any President ever, Clinton tried to tack left and lost Congress for the first time in 50 years. Gingrich and the GOP forced him into welfare reform and got balanced budgets for three straight years with the Democrats squealing like stuck pigs. Bush's biggest deficit year was 400 billion. He tried to fix Fannie and Freddie in 2005 but the Democrats torpedoed that effort. Obama raised taxes and has had record revenues, but has shrunk the military and increased entitlement spending to unsustainable levels. Enough is enough.
The Democrats only know tax and spend even more. They can't even spell balanced budget or fiscal responsibility. Jeb is a liberal plain and simple. But I'm not sure I could v**e for Rand, because his Isolationist worldview is scary to me. I really like Walker or Jindal. If you put either on a ticket with Carson or Susana Martinez, they could win.

I have been listening to Rush since 1988. Occasionally he gets on rants, but I never disagree with his premise. He's a talented commentator and well versed on the issues of the day. He has the biggest audience on the radio in America, and no liberal talk show can possibly survive in his time slot. You may not like his point of view, but he's pretty much right about every issue. I have never heard him make a r****t comment and his calling Sandra Fluke a s**t, was spot on. His book, I told you so, when Clinton was running for President was prophetic, and amazing. He just h**es liberals, but then again, most of us do. In fact, Intelligent liberal is the ultimate oxymoron. As Reagan said, "The problem with liberals is that so much of what they know, is just not true"

Every time I see a comment that includes GOPTP I realize that the contributor is a resolute moron. But then again he's most likely a Democrat which definitely has that market cornered. With a sterling intelligent lineup like Pelosi, Reid, Barbara Jordan, Shiela Jackson Lee, Maxine Waters, Alan Grayson and Debbie the Ditz any other prognosis would be bereft of content.
