that is a nice looking ship, however ours are about 50 percent larger I believe.
our foreign policy is a disgrace anyway.
we act like we're gods and then when someone shoves sand in our face, we talk big and bang our chest with no intention of doing anything because we are so indecisive.

May I recommend a book, Tortured For Christ, by Richard Wormbrand, God gives you the strength to deal with the hardships of life. And remember nothing will happen to you that hasn't happened to a lot of other people. When life is challenging I ask God for direction, there is no perfect life here, but trusting God to help me through the hard times makes it easiier

thank you, and yes agnostic would be a better term.
I'll look into that book.

There you go I was waiting for the TP r****t i***tic non factual post. Ya Tea Party go go.

though it may have been exaggerated, he has a logical point.
if he were to provide links to videos where Obama said the things he did, most of what he said would be a factual assumption.

Well, the bill passed unanimously, and will be phased in over the next several years.

Let the whining, crying and caterwauling from the "experts" begin. The gloom, the doom, the screeching about job losses, real and imagined.

But if Seattle continues to grow and prosper, and reduce the need for assistance programs for low-income workers, will the trend of raising the wages spread to those backward thinking red states, who get so much federal aid for their low income workers?

And keep in mind, all of you federal government h**ers/Obama bashers, this was done locally and exceeded what the federal standards are.

Must be a great disappointment to have to point the finger at local government.

I fantasize about being able to protect my community.
I am not one for k*****g, I resent it.
but I want to protect, and if that's what it means, it is a decision I would make in a second.
the last thing I would want is to k**l someone over an xbox.
but if someone pointed a gun at me, I would pull the trigger immediately.
what would you do?
toss him food stamps and yell,"don't hurt me!"

erm... not in a sexual way.... haha
but that is something I aspire to have the ability to do, protect.

No one can help you, accept yourself. Accept Christ and the Holy Spirit will come, into your heart. You'll know you are saved, because your heart and life will change the minute you are saved. Ask God and mean it, when you ask. If you lack faith ask Him to give it to you as you pray. I don't know about others, but I felt it, when I got saved. Felt like a lump had come into my heart and my heart felt lighter. That was about 32 years ago. I was forty. I have never wanted to go back to the first forty.

I thought I was saved six years ago, I thought I felt something then, I thought I knew.
I felt the same thing, but it faded because I was only talking to myself.
for me, there is only hope in the place where my faith was, because god was nowhere to be found.
I curled my lips at your second sentence because there is resentment in me for such things.
where was god when Christian died? he had stronger faith then me. where was god when my dog was having a 3 hour seizure and I was alone crying, holding him in a dark house pleading to him to stop this dog's pain one way or another?
where was god when I needed guidance in my life, I needed support.
where is god now, when I am trying to pick myself up, stumbling and falling, when I have been waiting for him for two years to give me back my strength and got nothing but silence? sometimes quiet is violent.
If god exists, if, then there is something seriously wrong with either me or him, one of us is insane.
I have hope that there is a god, because I have an understanding of the fact that god is something that cannot simply be measured.
that is the only thing, besides the basic principles that I agree with in Christianity, that keeps me questioning, and not turning into the atheist as you described it.
but faith is non sequitur for me now, I need facts, although I understand assumptions and faith is a big part of science as well, it is not something that I need to tie a thick mental rope around to accept.
my mental rope broke because I saw nothing where someone led me to believe there was something tangible. tangible is all I deal with now other than thoughts of hope.
at this point I need to see it to believe it.
because what I have been seeing in my life is not what I read in the bible.
but again, we will see one day, if I meet the lord, I can only hope he would have mercy on me, for I was lost.
