Obama has little or no options dealing with this crisis, and the TP/Repub know it and are using this as there propaganda machines get in full swing.

Under the Bush 2002 Homeland security Act and the Bush 2008 Trafficking Victims protection Reauthorization Act. Congress set up a process for dealing with immigrant children. This leaves Obama with little flexibility to deal with this crisis.

TP/Repub demand the president and armed vigilantes to deport the children. But under the Bush/TP/Repub two laws. Border patrol is required to take the children into custody , and t***sfer them to an office set up by Bush called the Office Of Refugee Resettlement, find a suite able relative or put them in long term foster care. Please read these bills and tell me Obama is not following the TP/Repub laws.

Take a good hard look at these laws passed by Bush. These Coyotes and illegal traffickers are making millions off your TP/Repub bills.

So when you hear an Obama created crisis/free pass to immigrants send in the national guard. You are breaking your own TP laws. The other TP talking point once they reach American soil they can stay, and that is far from the t***h. But the process set up by TP/ Repub has to be followed unless you want to change it. But you will not admit your mistakes just blame Obama.

I did a little research on you future wonder boy Ted Cruz and what a hypocrite he is. His father admitted he illegally bribed immigration officials in Cuba to come to America, then he immigrated to Canada and then applied for American citizenship in 2004 this he admitted to. So his own father came to this country illegally. So Ted where's the outrage on your own father. He should be deported and you will have to go with him under your idea for an immigration bill.

You are completely right as to the history of political parties in the US but when the Founders met in Philadelphia there were no parties and all of them were federalists in thinking. Some more so than others but all of them agreed on that federal thing in that the Constitution they agreed to write founded just that kind of government. I think if you look you will find that Jefferson was at least a wee bit jealous of Hamilton since Washington took most of his thinking about government from Hamilton and Jefrerson thought being the Sec. of State should have made him the number one advisor.

No parties, at first, and the only mention of any of those men in the new Common Core books has to do with Washington's reference to the bad part of party politics. He saw parties coming and knew Jefferson was the main reason.

CIUDAD VICTORIA, Mexico (AP) — Suspected drug cartel gunmen opened fire on a hotel being used as a police barracks then attacked it with a car bomb Thursday, wounding eight officers less than 4 miles (6.5 kilometers) from the U.S. border, Mexican officials said.

A Tamaulipas state official said authorities believed the Zetas cartel, one of Mexico's two most powerful criminal organizations, carried out the attack on the Hotel Santa Cecilia in Nuevo Laredo, a city across the border from Laredo, Texas.

The Zetas, founded by Mexican special forces defectors, have carried out a number of sophisticated attacks, but Thursday's assault appeared to be one of the most elaborate. It also appeared to be the first attack directed against Tamaulipas' new state police force, which took over a year ago from a municipal police force in Nuevo Laredo that was accused of ineffectiveness and corruption.

The newly commissioned officers, who hail from around the state, were staying in the hotel until permanent barracks were built. Mexican police frequently requisition hotels in the absence of official barracks, or when threats make it unsafe for them to live at home.

The head of state police and Tamaulipas' attorney general said three of the wounded officers had third-degree burns, while the rest had minor injuries.

The attack on the hotel took place around 7:15 a.m. on one of the main streets in Nuevo Laredo, less than four hours after unknown gunmen hurled gasoline bombss at the Maranho, one of the city's most popular nightclubs. The club, which was closed at the time, was badly damaged by fire but there were no injuries, authorities said.

Minutes after the hotel attack, gunmen opened fire on the Nuevo Laredo Institute of Technology, a science-focused university.

Nuevo Laredo is a stronghold of the Zetas. It has been the scene of vicious turf battles between the gang and its former ally, the Gulf cartel, which is now allied with the Zetas' biggest rival, the Sinaloa cartel led by Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.

The border city has seen a series of gruesome mass k*****gs in recent week. Fourteen bodies were found in a van in downtown Nuevo Laredo on April 17, and 23 people found hanged or decapitated in the border city on May 4.

Thursday's attack came less than a week after a high-ranking member of the Zetas was arrested and accused of orchestrating the dumping of 49 mutilated bodies in a northern Mexico town square in order to create terror and confusion as part of a battle with the Gulf and Sinaloa cartels.

While the number of unaccompanied youth crossing the border has doubled to nearly 60,000 in the past year, the total number of undocumented immigrants has mostly declined. About 1 million people have been caught crossing the border nearly every year between 1983 until 2006, but that number has dropped to about 400,000 in 2013.

At the same time, resources for border security have steadily increased: More than 18,000 agents patrolled the border in 2013 compared to 10,000 a decade ago.

And the amount spent on border security has more than doubled. The Customs and Border Patrol budget jumped from $5 billion in 2002 to $12.4 billion this year.

The issue has hit a national nerve. Protests have erupted along the border with activists demanding immediate deportation. Counter protests have also erupted, pointing out that many of the migrants are said to have fled violence at home.
