Not only that. Bragg has to prove that Trump told Cohen to pay her off for no other reason than purely and only to effect the e******n outcome. Add on top of that the jurisdictional problems and statute of limitations expiration and Bragg has little chance of success without a stacked jury.

The issue is whether Trump reimbursed his lawyer for paying Stormy hush money with campaign funds. If so, that is a misdemeanor in NYS. Problem is the Statue of limitations has run, and it is not a felony. The other problem is that Bragg's two main witnesses have both been proven to lie, most recently Michael Cohen. My guess is that Cohen is angry because Trump wouldn't grant him a pardon.

Cohen has been disbarred from practicing law in NYS due to proven perjury allegations.

Since both Stormy and Cohen have a problem with speaking the t***h, one would think their testimony would be inbelievable. But we're in NYC kids, with an ultra liberal jury pool, many of who are teachers. If Trump doesn't get a dismissal, he could be facing a hostile jury. Even Federal Southren District Court in NYC has failed to be objective on matters involving Trump, so a change of jurisdiction might not provide success for the dependent. And the jury pool in NYC has a high propensity to present as hostile even in that venue.

It is interesting that Trump is finally weaponizing the courts to get even with his foes: he is suing Cohen for half a million on defamation allegations.

States establish their own laws about v****g rights, but cannot set limitations on rights specifically granted in the Constitution. Citizenry is mandated by the Constitution. In fact, upon its inception, the Constitution allowed only white males who were over the age of 21 and who were property owners, to v**e. By various Constitutional amendments, the right to v**e was broadened. States may, therefore, require a person to prove citizenship in such manner as the State specifically states, if the intention is constitutional. Therefore, presentation of a photo ID by a government issuing authority is constitutional as enacted by some states, which such laws have not faced a constitutional challenge. If an amendment as adopted with constitutional intent, such as preventing the millions of i*****l i*******ts flooding our country from v****g because these people are not citizens, then that amendment would be constitutional.,

JFlorio, thank you for your most compassionate response. Most members of my family were mandated to get the jabs or lose their jobs. It is pure socialism to mandate an invasive procedure to remain employed. All the more so when there was no science behind these mandatory regulations.

I read a lot. I know what Fox’s agenda is.

Why should FOX?? You said they have Dem contributors.

There are left leaning contributors on Fox during almost every hour up to about 8 PM ET. Some names include Juan Williams, Jessica something (don't remember her last name) Jeraldo, and that's just off the top of my head. Chris Wallace left, his ratings for his show on Sunday mornings were pitiful. There are many guests as well, including most recently Bret Brier's interview with Chris Wray. It is every day almost every hour that someone in political circles are invited in to share the blue perspective. Even my former NYS assembly man, who the v**ers in very blue NY v**ed out, as well as Montclair Jones, have been guests on Fox during primetime.

Ignorance is no basis for an opinion on anything.

D******n is suing Trump. Not one case brought to over 15 Federal Courts ever went to trial, bit dismissed summarily by judges with little gumption. Ironic, if the D******n lawsuit shows by way of defense, That Trump's claim that the e******n was s****n by the use of D******n computers and Ed Yu's software (a Chinese man who was arrested this past summer for using his software in D******n computers to collect personal data of pollworkers and sell to China from the 2020 e******ns)

Ain't happening, now or ever.

My response was a little essay focusing on the law as it pertains to religion. There was no preaching, and I avoided judging you on my religious principles. You could show some civility to others whether God fearing, atheist or something else.

But make no mistake about it, I will defend my right to practice my faith and those who are of other faiths, to my dying day. Such is the obligation of a responsible American patriot.

I grass feed mine so it takes longer, up to 30-35 months. But that’s what it used to take before the government started shoveling corn and wheat down their throats to get them fat faster. But that makes them less healthy for the cattle themselves and for us. Commodity cattle need antibiotics to stay alive long enough to get to butcher weight. Grassfed needs none!
Find a grass farmer and buy direct from him. You’ll be amazed!

There are also environmental reasons to eat frags fed beef over beef from commercially raised cows. Predominately, the feed is grass that grows in organic fertilizer that the cows provide; also, there are no artificial petroleum-based fertilizers, no estimates used on the feed, and no herbicides, either. Good for the Earth, good for the cow, and good for the beef eater. Finally, less water is needed to feed the cows, as acres upon acres of corn and other grains are not being watered every day to support the cows.

Grass fed beef is priced lower than commercially provided beef in large part due to the drought and costs associated with raising these cows in crowded indoor facilities.

I commend Marty and other beef and grass fed dairy farmers for their efforts and contributions to a healthier steak, Humane treatment of the animals, and acting in an and environmentally friendly responsible manner.

Eisenhower warned us of the power of the military industrial complex. That members in public office v**e to continue a war that demonstrates little positive consequence to the USA, suggests that H****r and family are not alone as benefactors of the Russian/Ukraine war.

JFlorio, so true! Long c***d has hit my family hard. The incidence of infants born from a woman who got the jab is showing developmental probl3ms and c*********d i****e s****ms. My son in law, only 38 years old and in the collegiate sports arena, has been struck down with his career and cardic health h*****g on a thread. Several members of my family got c***d twice, even with two jabs, the masks, and quarantining. Follow the money is so true. F***i triple his net worth between 2020 and 2022. The damage is not done. What happens to my grandson as he grows and, Lord willing, enters adulthood?

PermaFart, if memory serves me correctly, Carter is one of the Founding members of the Bilderbergers, a one world government organization. In order to have a one world government, we have to give up our sovereignty and our Constitution. I didn’t spend time in the military so c****e Democrats could wreck our great country. I'm sure that every veteran feels the same way. Maybe Jimmy Carter did repent of his sins, if not, it will be very warm for him when he passes. As a person gets older, they tend to realize their mistakes. Carter is late 90's, so chances are good that he did repent.
PermaFart, if memory serves me correctly, Carter ... (show quote)

There were other problems with the Carter era, too, and the economy of that time stands as the worse since the Great Depression to this day. The Vietnam War was handled miserably as was the attempted rescue of 26 Marines in Iran. My introduction to adulthood and politics began with Nixon's impeachment; as I finished college with loans, I was unable to find a teaching job. My first home was purchased with a 12% mortgage, and that was considered a great rate. It scarred my early adulthood and made me a skeptic of both major parties ever since.

As to Carter being a Christian, I sincerely think he was. Just a lousy president. His years spent working with Habitate for Humanity remains one of his most honorable contributions to society.

Why attack religion? The first amendment guarantees this right to all who wish to partake. As a Chritian, I was promised that others would want to persecute me in His Name. Your little slings and arrows, Rinaldi, miss the mark by a large and wide margin. Anti Semite and anti Muslim acts, and even words that deface a place of worship, is unlawful. Directed at the Christian faith is no different. I will leave it to God to judge your soul's disposition in the hereafter. May you who are without sin cast the first stone.
