I am a Republican, 100% disabled combat veteran and come from a family of legal immigrants. My father was a career military man. He and both his brothers fought in WWII one lost his life and body was never recovered. Dad and his surviving brother also fought in Korea. My war was Vietnam, my son's was Desert Storm. My point being we are a patriotic family that loves this country and have a lot invested in our country! I am also glad that none of them are alive to see what their country is coming to, the d******eness, the lack of respect for our fellow human beings and most of all distrust of our government. CD, How did you come to be a resident of China? Are you a missionary or teacher? I personally think the Chinese culture, before PRC, was some of the most beautiful and cultured of the world. For someone who has spent close to 20 years living there I am sure you have been fortunate enough to study and understand their culture. The country must have a strong draw on you to have spent that much of your life there. I apologize for being so nosey and will fully understand if you want me to mind my own business!

Whether you do or don't tithe, wh**ever the amount doesn’t make you a good or bad person. Tithing is a personal thing that should make you feel good in your heart ❤! I don't think the Lord keeps a record of Tithing that is checked by St. Peter at the pearly gates.

Our tithe is also 10% of gross and excludes weekly offerings.
