1963 - The Year That Changed America
By Greg Swank 12-4-2

Over the years, I have shared in debates and discussions regarding the current state of affairs in the U.S., and the changing social climate of this great nation. Since the "baby-boomer" generation, society and its culture have become noticeably different than the way it was 50 years ago.

From the late 50's to the 70's a series of events took place contributing to the way we are currently living. However, like anything else, there has to be a starting point at which the wheels are put into motion. Sometimes it can be a single event, such as war, but more often, it is a series of events, some intentional, some planned, others unpredictable. There is always a pivotal point when things begin to change. I believe that time was 1963.

For my generation, some of the following will certainly stir old memories. If you born later, this may serve as a brief history lesson into the times your parents traveled through.

By 1963 television was the leading sources of entertainment. The public enjoyed a different type of programming back then. Lessons on life could be viewed weekly on "Leave it to Beaver" or "My Three Sons." There were hero's back then that never drew blood, "The Lone Ranger" and "The Adventures of Superman.”

Cartoon series evolved, such as, "The Flintstones" and "The Jetsons" without messages of empowering the children, using vulgarities or demeaning parental guidance. Families could spend a weekend evening watching "Ed Sullivan," "Bonanza" or "Gunsmoke." For those who enjoyed thrill and suspense, we were blessed with "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" and the "Twilight Zone." 'My Favorite Martian," "Ozzie and Harriet," "Donna Reed" and "Sea Hunt" also kept viewers entertained weekly.

Movie theaters were not multiplex units with 15 screens. Rather, theaters were individual and there was one single, giant big screen with adequate sound and hard seats without springs. "Tom Jones" had won the Academy award for best picture. "How The West Was Won," "Cleopatra," "Lily of the Fields," "The Great Escape," "The Birds," and "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" were all box office hits.

By years' end, The Beatles had played for the British Royal Family and were laying the groundwork to conquer the U.S. the following year. Eric Clapton began his journey to fame with Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Jim McCarty and their band, The Yardbirds. Out on the West Coast the surf was beginning to rock'n'roll with The Beach Boys and their first song to reach the top ten list, Surfin' U.S.A.

The 'Joys of Jell-O' recipes for quivering florescent foodstuff hit the stores. U.S. Postal rates went up to five cents for the first ounce. AT&T introduced touch-tone telephones. The Yankees played in the World Series again; but lost to the Dodgers in four straight. The government and NASA began the Apollo program. This is just a brief snapshot of some of the things that were going on back in 1963. Remember?

While some of these events played an important role in the direction of change that affect us today, many of them were lost to much greater, more political events, that I believe put everything into motion.

In 1963 the news media showed women burning their bras as the women's liberation movement took off with the publishing of "The Feminine Mystique" by Betty Friedan. Martin Luther King was jailed in April and civil unrest was being brought to the forefront. On August 28th the media brought us live coverage of the march on Washington and Dr. Kings famous "I had a dream" speech. The Cuban missile crisis found its way in to our homes and our nation was gearing up for conflict.

By September of 1963 we had lost some very influential people, Pope John XXIII, Robert Frost, and country legend Patsy Cline, to name a few. In the early hours of November 22nd we learned of the quiet passing of C.S. Lewis and hours later we were brought to our knees when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated and our nation mourned.

So you see, while long since forgotten, 1963 could very well have been, one of the most important years since our founding fathers provided us with the Constitution of the United States. Which brings me to one final and extremely important decision that was made during this most provocative year.

On June 17, 1963 the U.S. Supreme Court concluded that any Bible reciting or prayer, in public schools, was deemed unconstitutional. While American's have endured great prosperity over the past 40 years we have also lost our moral compass and direction. In reviewing the research, data supports 1963 as a focal point, demonstrating a downward slope in our moral and social decline through 2001.

Certainly, one would have to agree that all of these events have had a profound impact on the way our current social structure has been changed. Personally, if I had to choose one specific event that has demonstrated the demoralization of our country, it would have to be the decision of the U.S Supreme Court in June of 1963.

But there is always "hope." As always, I welcome your comments and can easily be reached. Thanks for the response to "Daddy, What's Fluoride?" My email is: greg@t***htrek.net

The Original Complete List Of The 45 Declared Goals For The C*******t Takeover Of America

Submitted By Greg Swank 12-4-2

You are about to read a list of 45 goals that found their way down the halls of our great Capitol back in 1963. As you read this, 39 years later, you should be shocked by the events that have played themselves out. I first ran across this list 3 years ago but was unable to attain a copy and it has bothered me ever since. Recently, Jeff Rense posted it on his site and I would like to thank him for doing so. http://www.rense.com C*******t Goals (1963) Congressional Record--Appendix, pp. A34-A35 January 10, 1963

Current C*******t Goals EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Thursday, January 10, 1963 .

Mr. HERLONG.
Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of c*******m, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of c*******m in America. At Mrs. Nordman's request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following "Current C*******t Goals," which she identifies as an excerpt from "The Naked C*******t," by Cleon Skousen: [From "The Naked C*******t," by Cleon Skousen]

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a
demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of C*******t affiliation and
regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of C*******t domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's
promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free e******ns under
supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has
agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten,
demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent
armed forces. (Some C*******t leaders believe the world can be taken over as
easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with
each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the C*******t Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American
institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as t***smission belts for socialism and
current C*******t propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers'
associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student r**ts to foment public protests against programs or
organizations which are under C*******t attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing,
policy-making positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic
expression. An American C*******t cell was told to "eliminate all good
sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and
meaningless forms."

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote
ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a
violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and
obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural,
healthy."

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social"
religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity,
which does not need a "religious crutch."

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the
ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-
fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation
between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish
aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of
American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big
picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the C*******ts took
over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part
of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health
clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the
C*******t apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. T***sfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies.
Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but
psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means
of gaining coercive control over those who oppose C*******t goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy
divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of
parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and r****ding of children to
suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and i**********n are legitimate
aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups
should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social
problems.

43. O*******w all colonial governments before native populations are ready
for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the
World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the
World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

Why is it you are not? A******n, contrary to popular belief, is not about the woman's right to do as she sees fit with her body! A******n is about the extinguishing of a life growing in the womb!!! Because it is about a life separate of the woman's life, it deserves a voice to be heard! That voice can only be heard by those willing to stand up for the unborn life . . . obviously!

So, if you believe that the death sentence for criminals in prison is wrong . . . why support the death sentence of the unborn child?

...just my opinion BUT something to really think about!!!

Parents are furious after what one popular children’s cartoon just did
May 16, 2019

The new trend for long-running television shows is to prove how “woke” they are by forcing the radical L**T agenda down viewers’ throats.

Parents are growing increasingly alarmed by content they used to think was “safe” for their children to watch.

And they’re furious after what one long-running children’s cartoon just did.

The show, Arthur, has been on PBS since 1996.

It’s a family-oriented show that promotes reading, friendships, and the importance of family.

But everything parents thought they knew about the show just radically changed forever.

In a recent episode, Arthur’s third-grade teacher married another male character and his third-grade class watched his same-sex marriage.

Breitbart reports:

The season premiere of the children’s cartoon Arthur featured a same-sex wedding, surprising some young viewers about the sexuality of the protagonists’ primary school teacher Mr. Ratburn.

The episode, entitled “Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone,” shows aardvark Arthur’s third-grade teacher Mr. Ratburn tying the knot another man. When Arthur and his friends find out their teacher is getting married, they assume that he is getting married to a female rat named Patty.

However, they eventually discover that Patty (voiced by Jane Lynch) is his sister and that his actual partner is a chocolatier named Patrick.

According to the fan page ArthurWiki, “Mr. Ratburn is primarily known for being a strict teacher, but he has many other hobbies outside of the classroom, including puppetry, playing in a rock band, and bird-watching. He is also seen as a role model by several students.”

Arthur has never been known to advance a left-wing agenda or force L**T issues on children.

Little children are watching this show, and it is largely a positive influence on their social sk**ls, relationships, and education.

But it’s clear that Arthur just caved to the radical L**T agenda.

Children do not need to be exposed to same-sex marriage from a kids cartoon show.

The Left immediately applauded the show’s actions and called it a heroic decision to show a same-sex wedding in an episode.

But many parents are slowly learning about what happened and are up in arms.

What’s more concerning is what these TV shows could be teaching kids about without their parents realizing.

This could be a big mistake that finally takes Arthur off the air.

If I were a parent, I'd home school my kids . . . not have a TV . . . and live as far away from a major city as possible! I'd live on 20 acres of land given to me by grandpa . . . . outside would be a place where they could play and there would be time to learn about growing vegetables and fruits . . . starting fires with out matches or lighters . . . . how to hunt and forage for food in the wild . . . the importance of handling fire-arms properly . . . and we would spend time talking about the wonders of life!

I would be the in control of the information they would be receiving from the greater world. They would be taught the Constitution and Bill of Right, along with the Declaration of Independence! With an interest in being unbiased, they would learn the history of the many nations across the globe . . . the different kinds of governments across the world . . . and the different atrocities mankind has done to others of their kind.

At the appropriate age, the entire t***h in fact will be taught to them! Nothing will be left out! And then martial arts will be taught to them. My children would be taught to defend who they love . . . to stand up for what thy know is right . . . and to hold a foundational t***h that family is the most important thing in life.

Not to force religion on to them, I would ask them to come to church with mom and I, and if thy didn't want to, they could stay home! But I would let them know of the other advantages to going to church . . . which the fellowship after church . . . of the friends to make at church . . . and of the young boys and girls their age that are there too!

Radio, music, books and good old talking will be the main form of entertainment!

....just a dream of mine!

You remind me of a story I heard. It goes something like this:

A flood was coming to a town and people knew it was coming. They were watching the river getting higher and higher . . . and then overflowing the river banks! A lady came out on her porch and started praying. A man in a truck stopped by and told her to get in the truck before the flood reaches here. She told him, "I'm waiting on God to save me!" The waters got higher and forced her to the second floor of the house. A man in a row boat came by seeing her through the window. He yelled, "Come on get in to my boat before you get flooded out." She said, "I'm waiting for God to save me!" The flood was so high, she had to climb on to the roof! A helicopter flew over and yelled down, "Hang on and we'll get you off!" She yelled back, "I'm waiting for God to save me!" Well, she drowned and went to heaven. She asked Jesus, "Why didn't you save me?" God said, "I sent you a man in a truck, a man in a boat, and a man in a helicopter! I'd say you just weren't listening to me."

It is a damn shame this is not some Marxist Paradise like the Soviet Union where you can jail people you don't like, with out them being convicted of a crime. If only it was so. Not just Trump, but everyone who v**ed for him would be in a reeducation camp, getting their thinking corrected.

Damn Constitution. Damn two party system. When the Democrats finally take power in 2028 they need to burn down the Reichstag so that wrong thinkers can never take power from their rightful masters ever again.

Seems like Trump wants to jail people he doesn’t like, starting with upstart reporters that bring up embarrassing questions followed by beaten political opponents, and fellow Republicans who dare to criticize his lowlife behavior.

Am I mistaken in hearing the adoring masses take up his cry of “lock her up” and “lock them up” at his rallies?
His threats of legal action against news outlets and their obstreperous reporters?

“Seems” seems like a reasonable if not definitive extrapolation. Hmmmm?
Thank you for the charming reply but please don’t ... (show quote)

"...Thank you for the charming reply but please don’t be coy about expletives, just have the cojones to spell it out if you really mean what you say..."

If I spelled out what I meant, it would be deleted by the overseers of OPP . . . dumbarse!

The American people that want Hillary thrown in jail have good cause for it . . . but none of them are calling for a lynching of her . . . they want justice!!!

"son of witless" was making the point of how the democrats are acting . . . but the following is YOUR comment:

"...Seems like Trump wants to jail people he doesn’t like, starting with upstart reporters that bring up embarrassing questions followed by beaten political opponents, and fellow Republicans who dare to criticize his lowlife behavior..."

"...Am I mistaken in hearing the adoring masses take up his cry of “lock her up” and “lock them up” at his rallies? His threats of legal action against news outlets and their obstreperous reporters?..."

Hillary is guilty of obstruction of justice by the way she destroyed, bleached, and wiped her hard drives! If you don't think she is guilty of that then it is you who has been living under a rock . . . or just suffer from TDS!

Then there is her inaction as Secretary of State . . . which led to the murders of an American Ambassador and the troops that defend the place! I believe there were 5 to 8 requests for more protection made by the Ambassador . . . but Hillary decided not to do her job! That is dereliction of duty on her part and could be construed as giving aid to the enemy!!!

Obstreperous . . . is a stretch because these reporters are not out of control . . . they know exactly what they are doing! They are getting "controlled" perfectly though by the way they are treated in front of the people! By the way, maybe it's time for a law to be passed that makes Journalists and Mainstream Media have to retract their lies and inform the public of their lies every day for two weeks!

There was and is corruption in DC and Trump has been giving them all the rope needed to hang themselves with! He gave Mueller what he asked for and the two year investigation is over . . . now it's time to investigate the investigators . . . because the FISA court was lied to given a report by Steele that was bogus!!! Trump IS going after the crooks . . . but you seem to like the crooks because they h**e
Trump! Am I wrong in thinking you v**ed for Hillary?!?

...just my opinion!!!

I've been over it long before it ever started. All I did was post an article. I didn't write it. If you have ever read any of my own statements you will know that I absolutely detest Nancy "Bat-S**t Crazy" Pelosi (this is the moniker Dennis Miller gave her. Appropriate, don't you think?). However, I do think she is crafty but has met her match in Trump, and has lost a few marbles since the last time she was Speaker.

I don't bother investigating people on OPP . . . I address the topic and initial comment. I leave the topic and the comment to speak for them. If you disagree with the topic, it might be wise to add your opinion at the end of the article you posted in its entirety. How is one to know what YOU think about the topic if you don't tell us within the initial comment of the topic?

Do us all a favor and tell us your thoughts on the article next time!

Of all so far, I'd like to see Tulsi Gabbard get the go ahead! But, in t***h, I don't think it matters much. Trump has economic stats that show employment is higher than it has been for 20 or 30 years . . . he is striving to keep his promises that he ran on . . . he may be really crude in how he says what he says, but remember that he comes from New York City where being rash and crude is the norm. He has a way of getting down in the dirt with the people too . . . of showing himself to be not looking down on you but straight at you on the same level.

I see Trump winning over any of the declared democrats . . . even if the House try's to impeach him, it won't get pass the Senate, but it will make the democrats look desperate.

...and as always, this is just my opinion!

If Nancy Pelosi Wants to Uphold Her Legacy, She Should Impeach Trump
GQ
Kashana Cauley

It’s time for the Speaker to get selfish.

Most of us live in survival mode. We're just trying to get through the day, or the week, or the year. Or exerting superhuman efforts to scrape together that $400 we don't have on hand if an emergency strikes. But very important people spend more time pondering the very long run: their legacies. The important plan to put their names on buildings. Give their wealth to charity. I imagine Nancy Pelosi, the first female Speaker of the House, has started thinking about hers.

Lately, plenty of people have argued that the Democrats' failure to march toward impeachment, despite all of the evidence, is the centerpiece of Pelosi's master plan. She’s playing sixty-eighth dimensional chess by making the president kinda mad on Tuesdays instead of starting impeachment hearings. And we should trust her because she's one of the most effective Speakers in history.

Yet her real place in the canon probably won't be defined by her work to get the v**es to pass a 2009 healthcare bill that the Trump administration is systematically dismantling. It's going to be how much of a fight she and her party put up against all the p**********lly mandated horrificness that’s happened since the likely criminally-r****d 2016 e******n: the camps, and the cages, and the Muslim ban, and the not-so-gradual disappearance of many Americans' rights. Maybe people will remember wh**ever remains of the Affordable Care Act fifty years from now, or maybe they’ll be too busy attending fetus funerals or slapping together a family tree in the back of the bible they just bought to prove they’re actually U.S. citizens and might still get detained by ICE anyway.

Pelosi believes that the best way to hold Trump accountable is to let the v**ers decide on him in the 2020 e******n, because v**ers’ strong opposition to Trump in the 2018 midterms must not count anymore. A key problem with this theory is that it assumes v**ers won’t have anyone blocking their way to the polls, like the state of Tennessee, where the governor just signed a bill criminalizing v***r r**********n drives, or the state of Texas, where lawmakers are advancing a bill that cracks down on the supreme evil of driving elderly or disabled v**ers to the polls in groups.

Floridians v**ed to re-enfranchise 1.4 million former felons who’d paid their debt to society only for Florida’s state government to decide that maybe they should pay any outstanding debts before they’re actually allowed to v**e, poll tax style. Georgia’s new a******n restrictions, which are currently scheduled to go into effect in January 2020, potentially turn women into felons. I kinda always hoped if women had to be outlaws, we could do it like Bonnie of Bonnie & Clyde. Driving frantically and romantically across the center of the country. Evading five states’ worth of cops in a badass way. But instead, we get to be outlaws for trying to get essential healthcare without stabbing ourselves in the stomach. And outlaws can’t v**e under Georgia law.

Typically, v**ers tell politicians to think about us. The people. The greater American public, who they’re elected to serve. But I have a radical proposal. I want Nancy Pelosi to think about herself. Her legacy. It's time for her to get selfish. To look in the mirror and decide if she wants to be known for insisting that this American moment can be fixed by suggesting infrastructure plans that aren't going to happen, or if she might feel like doing a little constitutionally mandated somethin’ somethin’, given the Mueller report's conclusion that Trump may have obstructed justice on ten separate occasions, the sort-of bipartisan agreement that Trump deserves to be impeached, and the 900 former federal prosecutors who'd indict him for obstruction of justice in a hot minute.

Yesterday, in a press conference announcing that his office has closed and that he’s stepping down as special counsel, Mueller said, “If we had confidence that the president did not commit a crime, we would have said so.” That statement felt like an invitation to Congress to start impeachment proceedings, in the way that a birthday party invitation usually means you’ve just been invited to a birthday party. C’mon Pelosi. We know you as tough: unafraid of challenge, not particularly into backing down. Are you going to go down as the Speaker who fully investigated a foreign power’s intrusion into our e******ns, or the Speaker who hoped someone else might eventually get around to it?

You seriously believe Pelosi is so smart and intelligent?!? She was the one who said, "We have to pass the Bill in order to know what's in the Bill." . . . which means she wanted the House to v**e on a Bill BEFORE reading it to find out what they were v****g on! THAT IS THE STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD COMING OUT OF THE MOUTH OF SOMEONE IN CONGRESS!!!

Pelosi is a self-serving i***t that should have NEVER been House Speaker! Her inability to get over the fact that T***p w*n . . . Hillary lost . . . and it was done by the American people eludes her by an extreme case of Trump Derangement Syndrome! She needs to get over it and so do you!!!

That reminds me of the time Jesus was accused of throwing out demons by the power of demons . . . not sure how that applies but . . . . just a thought.
