That is not socialism. That is promoting the general welfare. Mostly done by states and localities. It's not the job of the federal government to do many of the things they do, such as trying to implement Social Security and Medicare for all. Don't confuse the responsibilities of the Federal Government with State and Local Government. But then, if you've never read the Constitution you wouldn't be aware of this distinction, just like most politicians.

I want you to give me actual quotes and in the complete context with which they were said. Once upon a time, we didn't know, nor did we care, what a Hollywood celebrity's political leanings were. We went to their movies to be entertained. Now they are so full of their own self-importance that they even think they have something worthwhile to say and the rest of us need to listen to these sages. They don't have anything to say. In fact, when they speak, most of them end up sounding like babbling Babs Streisand, a loon.

to live in a society that is social towards one another is one thing . to try to bring about a socialist form of governing is not tolerable . this is America. not a socialist country . we are capitalist . some are very wealthy and some are poor , and there is a whole lot in-between . you can make it big . you can work and do well off . you can work and do not so well . you can be lazy . you can be some where in between any of those positions . you can live with what you have . you can even leave the country for some place you think may be a better place for the way you want to live . all the choices are yours . /./././// socialism SUCKS . not a country that I know of has ever succeeded under socialist rule.
