OMG, The world has been warming and cooling all on it's own for millions of years. Now it has become a handy tool for the lefties to help them control people (kinda like you). There is nothing we can truly do to change the fact that it is just another climate cycle, that are normal occurrences on our blue little spec of dust in the universe.

It's not just the pipeline employees and electric coop people this has a dire affect on either. It has a devastating effect to a lot of local economies.

The rural electric companies that supply the pumping stations along the pipeline after construction is completed will continue to supply that service to the stations to keep them operational even if there are no personnel located there. They still need power for the pumps , lights, and security systems. It will be a big hit to their business after they have already in some instances invested millions in infrastructure to supply that electrical power.

The Keystone Loss

If you think that President Biden and Climate Chief Kerry have saved the planet consider this:

The Keystone Pipeline would be 2,147 miles long and would supply 830,000 barrels of oil per day.

A tanker truck can carry 190 barrels of oil. It would take 4,368 trucks per day just to haul that amount of oil.

It would take 3 days to cover the 2,147 miles.

An additional 4,368 trucks would start the trip the second day and another 4,368 trucks would start the trip the second day, and another 4,368 trucks would start the trip on the third day.

Needless to say, all these trucks will be returning empty.

Therefore, it would take 26,208 trucks per day to haul what the pipeline could carry in one day.

If the trucks could gel 6 MPG, it would take 157,248 gallons of diesel per day to carry the oil... at $3 per gallon, just the diesel cost would be $471,744.00 per day, in addition to the drivers' salaries, and other costs.

Ok, we can ship it by train,, they haul a lot more... Each train tanker holds on the avg. 821 barrels of oil... so it would take over 1,010 cars to haul the oil., and the most tankers a train can have is over 100 cars and can only run 50 MPH..

So, it would take a little over 10 trains to travel 900 miles a day.,

So, 2 1/2 days by train and another 24 hours to unload the train.

So, it would take almost 40 trains going south from Canada, fully loaded with oil, and 40 more trains running back north empty and in the meantime, you will be needing that many trains in Canada to be loading while the empty trains are headed back.

So, it would take 120 trains with 100 tankers each to haul the oil..

A tanker ship coming from Arabia would take 27+ days and hauls 2 million barrels, some larger... well I don't even want to get into the ships.

So, tell me again, how completing the Keystone Pipeline would destroy the planet.

So, now 70,000 good-paying jobs lost.

More crowded highways and/or more trains as well as taking away the USA being energy independent and actually exporting oil.

Now we may be buying from the same nations that supported and/or sponsored the 911 attacks.

Plus how much carbon and soot will come out of all these trucks and trains pulling this oil, while ZERO
emissions from the pipeline? Is this Liberal logic? Zero logic. Zero science.

And yes that Giant Sucking Sound on the Potomac is inhabited by swamp creatures that do not recognize the hard-working Americans.

Climate Chief flies in a private luxury jet while telling unemployed very sk**led workers to take low paying jobs building solar panels.

Have a great day!

Cedric Richmond says "defund the police" cost Democrats seats in the House
Washington — As Democrats reckon with losing seats in the House of Representatives after predicting their majority in the upper chamber would grow this e******n, Louisiana Congressman Cedric Richmond, a Democrat, said Sunday that slogans such as "defund the police" ultimately hurt the party.
"Some titles hurt," Richmond said in an interview on "Face the Nation." "'Defunding the police' is a title that hurts Democrats, especially when the fact of the matter is nobody is calling for defunding the police. We're calling for reinventing how we police communities in this country, how we do criminal justice."
Richmond was asked about complaints made by moderate Democrats during a heated call with Democratic leaders last week, the details of which were leaked to members of the press. Some House members who narrowly won their districts spoke of how messages like "defund the police," pushed by progressive lawmakers in the caucus, damaged their campaigns and cost vulnerable freshmen their seats.
The Louisiana Democrat, who is a co-chair of the Biden campaign, said the progressive wing of the Democratic Party is "very important" to the party, but noted "no matter how progressive your ideals and values are and what you want to do and how bold your plans are, if we don't win, if we don't keep the majority of the house, you cannot implement any of those plans."
"We have to make sure we can win first and govern second," he said.
Richmond added that "words have consequences."
"In this e******n, those words cost us some Democratic members," he said.
West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, a Democrat, also lamented how the positions pushed by the progressive wing of the party hurt his colleagues in the House and said Democrats allowed their Republican opponents to cast them as "socialists" even though "that's not who we are and it's not what we're about."
Claims from the GOP that Democrats would push socialist policies, he said, "basically scared the bejesus out of people."
"I have fought against that. Joe Biden has fought against that," Manchin said. "We're not for New Green Deal. We're not for all the things that he's talked about, Medicare for all. We can't even pay for Medicare for some. We've got to take care of a lot of things."
Looking ahead to the next Congress, Manchin said Democrats need to govern from the "moderate middle," and expected Mr. Biden will work to foster bipartisanship with Republicans in the Senate.
"I would encourage all Democrats to be moderate, find the middle if you can," he said. "We're not going to be able to govern from the extremes or from the fringes. Never have been."
Democrats controlled 232 House (NOW AT D-211,R-221,V-3)seats in the 116h Congress, and while they are likely to maintain a majority in the House, they will do so with fewer members. Control of the Senate, meanwhile, hangs in the balance as two races in Georgia are likely headed to runoff e******ns.
While Richmond acknowledged the impact rhetoric pushed by progressives had on the larger party, he said he believes House Speaker Nancy Pelosi should retain her position. The California Democrat asked her colleagues in a letter Friday to support her bid for speaker in January.

"govern", It's just a small word almost hidden a few times in this narrative, but it bothers me more than the rest of it as a whole. They apparently fail to understand that they are there to "represent" us, not "govern" us.
