My math is quite fine... Percentages may make it look like to things are similar , but the larger the number being represented the larger even small differences represent... Which was why I chose to use ratios to explain my point...

I will try again... A larger percent of individuals with socialized healthcare have chosen to seek help outside of their nation... This (in my opinion) demonstrates the flaws of such a healthcare system....

I absolutely agree with you... Not just Americans but all people should have access to quality healthcare. And it should certainly be affordable for all social classes...

I believe a balance should be sought... Government subsidizing of medical expenditures and procedures, with the option to buy additional insurance if desired...

1. The US has ten times the population of Canada , ratio1:10... 50,000 vs 250,000 is only a ratio of 1:5...Higher percentage of canadians seek healthcare outside of the country than americans...
2. The waits for many non-Elective surgeties are horrible... My aunt waited for eighteen monthes for lung removal , the entire time knowing the cancer could spread... And just recently my grandmother was sent home after a twelve hour wait in the EU after experiencing a heart attack. She was told to return the next day but the doctor had already left and they couldn't keep her there without his signature.... These are Common stories where I am from... I have dozens of others...
3. I would never trade Canada's healthcare for america's. But that doesn't make it a shining example of a national healthcare system...

How is it fact checking to repeat the facts then claim anyone who doesn't reach the same conclusion as you is stupid?...

I can promise you that there are large numbers of Canadians who are not satisfied with the waits , the lack of doctors , or the costs of our medical system... Those who can afford it Certainly do make use of the the US for far better , immediate health care

Agreed.. FEDERAL dollars should not be spent this way... San Francisco on the other hand has every right to decide how they allocate city funds...

Kind of a stretch.. Connecting the t*********r issue with city sanitation... Unless it is the t*********r community causing the sanitation problem... 215,000 dollars works out to about 600 a day... Could maybe hire two extra sanitation workers... It would make more sense to divide this posting into two separate posts... One to discuss the t*********r issue and one to discuss sanitation...

Anti-terrorism: preventing potentially dangerous individuals from entering the country without being properly vetted.

Border security: enforcing the laws that are already in place. Make it more difficult for individuals to cross/t***sport substances without going through a check point. Building infrastructure to better secure the country.

Law enforcement: creating crime task forces. Providing funding/ facilities / equipment/ resources to allow law enforcement officers to better carry out their duties. Not attempting to.impede said officers.

Religious freedom: defending the rights of all individuals to practice their faith in accordance with their moral code. (I can think of no examples where POTUS has prevented Muslims ftom practising their faith - but would be interested if you wished to provide (teachforjoy@163.com))

Economy: reduced taxes to the majority of individuals. Simplified the tax system (somewhat). Promoted the creation of numerous (don't want to quote a number as am not sure how many jobs would have been created under a different president...but confident that it would be fewer).

I agree that there have been bumps along the road... If it were an easy job with simple fixes people would not have become so polarized.

Finally... The separation of children from their parents is always regrettable... The system was losing children long before POTUS 45... I would like to have better measures in place to protect the rights of both parents and children...
