While a young guy is eating his ready-in-three-minutes TV dinner of meatloaf, with gravy and mashed potatoes while listening to the radio, a woman's voice announces a severe weather alert. She goes on to say that the area he lives will have devastating flooding and that everyone should--. He shuts off the radio. "Who listens to the media anymore and besides God will protect me."

The gentle stream in front of his property has turned into a raging river and is steadily inundating his lawn. He scoffs at the visible evidence. "No worries. God will protect me," and quickly turns away from the window, wondering where he left his Bible.

The raging waters have now completely covered the lawn and are lapping at his house. A large motor boat comes right up to his doorstep and someone bangs on the door. "Come out! Come out!" they implore him; "we can get you to safety." He blows them off, shouting, "Go away, god will save me."

The flood waters are now filling the first floor. He runs up to the second floor and then up to the roof. A Helicopter happens by and hovers, dropping a ladder so he can escape death. He waves them off. "Go away, God will save me."

The waters grow even higher and then sweep away the house and he drowns. At the Pearly Gates he looks glum. God looks at him and asks, "What's wrong, my child?" "Why am I dead?" he asks, "I trusted that you would protect me."

God sadly shakes his head and gives the young guy a gentle smile. "My dearest child," God begins, "I sent you a timely warning by the media, but you ignored me. When you still had time to avoid death, I showed undeniable evidence to your own eyes as to the reality of the great danger, but again you ignored me. I sent a boat right to your doorstep to rescue you, but again you ignored me. Then a helicopter and you ignored me." The young guy saw the great error of his ways, apologized and thanked God for his loving efforts.

God finally turned to another man standing before him looking puzzled. God asked him, "Are you paying attention, A*****xxer?"

It's been apparent that the trumpmeister's social media corporation was set up as a s**m...one of the first giveaways might be that trump is reported to "own" a majority despite the fact he has less than a dime of his own in it.

Now there is a fresh horror, shady Chinese investors are the ones putting in the first $300 million seed capital. It costs a lot of money to hire the s**m artists and make it look like something is up and coming and worth investing billions of dollars...it's amazing how much it costs to launch a company that isn't doing a thing yet while it expects people to invest billions because the promises are so amazing to coin trump's favorite superlative for things that are going nowhere.

I had my two C***D shots, one booster and I stand ready to get another one if and when needed. I am pro-v*****e. It makes sense to me.

However, we must recognize that, nationwide, the v*****e does not make sense to everyone, far from it. Twenty percent or so of the targeted population does not want the v*****e, for wh**ever reason, good or bad, legitimate or not, and they are rather obstinate about their objection to the non-stop instructions emanating from Washington.

What is the Biden Administration saying and doing about it? Same old thing, although the tone has a tendency to toughen with disbelief and exasperation. Suggestions, advices and recommendations are now turning into questionable mandates, scare tactics and threats. Yet, so far, the tough talk has not moved the needle. If nothing else, the “resistance” to the v*****e seems more resolute.

Those unyielding anti-v**x people may be wrong, but they are not stupid. They know the risk of refusing the shots. They watch and read the news. Most of them know that about 5.5 million people died of C***D worldwide, including over 800,000 in the US. They just don’t want to follow the orders and pull up their sleeves. No means No.

I don’t know about you but I am getting a little tired of the war of words and menaces. As a reasonably intelligent businessman, I know that when you hit a wall, you find a way to get around it rather than break your skull trying to push it. Remember the definition of insanity: keep on doing the same thing and expect different results…

After long and grueling months of a failed strategy, it’s about time to work on a Plan B. I am not talking about abandoning the overall objective of mass v******tion to induce herd immunity, but trying to reduce the risks of getting C***D as well as its most severe symptoms/effects.

Some preventive actions are known to be effective, and new treatments and therapeutics are available today to successfully combat the v***s. Common sense suggests that these alternatives, even if less potent than the v*****es, are better than nothing and far more likely to be used by those who refuse the real thing.

Time for stubbornness is over; there is more than one way to deal with the v***s.
