What Senator Graham demonstrated was sincere and genuine righteous anger. It was measured, direct and appropriate. A quality of good leadership.

Indeed there was a vicious gang rape! Progressive Senators gang raped the people of the United States. Progressive citizens submitted and complied. Conservative patriots are resisting and fighting back.

Booker’s piece was nowhere near the spitting, maniacal raving of Lindsey Graham.

Personally, I found Senator Graham's tirade against the democrats' underhanded delay tactics to be appropriate and long overdue. The way the democrats handled these entire hearings was disrespectful to Judge Kavanaugh and to the proceedings themselves ….. first the promise to resist regardless of who the nominee might be, then the protests and disruption of the proceedings by kamala, sparky and others, the nastiness and mean-spiritedness with which they asked questions of Judge Kavanaugh, and the absurdity of the grilling over scribblings in a high school yearbook. And then, of course, when none of that worked, the 11th-hour leak of these allegations, which they were well aware would be difficult to prove or disprove and would provide them with a reason to grandstand and scream for more time.

They deserved every word that came out of Senator Graham's mouth and then some.

And as far as sparky booker's poorly rehearsed and even more poorly executed exit from the hearings, well, at least that provided a little comic relief. If this video clip doesn't help him get anywhere in his bid for the presidency in 2020 (and I can't imagine it would), maybe he could use it as an audition for SNL or something. That might work, 'cuz it certainly left me laughing out loud.

My thoughts exactly ….. no reason to go there.

The FBI is interviewing them as we speak

And, if that is true, after the FBI interviews them, we will know the names, dates, places, etc., etc. And we will know whether or not these same witnesses prove themselves to be credible. When the FBI completes its investigation and offers its findings to the the Judiciary Committee, then we will know. Anything thrown out there now is just speculation based on our own beliefs, hearsay or rumor. "Somebody," a "slew of people," "some Yale University classmates," etc. mean nothing at this point.

And when the FBI does offer its report to the Committee, if it exonerates Judge Kavanaugh, I wonder if the democrats on the Committee will accept it ..... or if they will throw a tantrum like Sparky Booker and make a sad and comical attempt at a dramatic exit.

We will find out next week.

I found out just today that she wrote the SAME letter a year ago about Gorsuch (redundant but repeatable).

I assume this letter will find its way into the hands of the FBI investigators? A second letter should speak to her "memories" of this event and her need to somehow lay the blame at the feet of any Republican nominee for judgeship.

This is just a personal observation...when someone suffers a traumatic experience, usually it is burned into memory, even the smallest detail. Ford could hardly remember ANY details to the point of she didn't know where she was, when she was there, or how she got there, all of which are major details. RED F**G right there. AND while she cried and spoke with a broken voice during her testimony, there were no tears. We see that all the time in movies and TV where people are PLAY ACTING. RED F**G again.
I'm sure she and her family will be able to recover with no problem on the $400.000 that was raised for her.
This is just a personal observation...when someone... (show quote)

ITA agree about the red f**gs. I can, as a victim of a violent crime myself decades ago at the age of 16 at the hands of a stranger, tell you that those are not things you forget. I honestly do not see how anyone in that position could remember so little about when, where, and how but convince themselves they are certain about the who. Perhaps the drinking habits of the wrong party here are being scrutinized.

I think it is entirely possible that she suffered some trauma at some point in her life, but I do not believe that Kavanaugh had anything to do with it. I believe it is possible that, in her internal search for the t***h, she "filled in the gaps" … with a little help from her friends and the democrats who seek to use her for their own gain.

I can't help but look at this woman's demeanor and her presentation of her story and see a bit of an attention-seeking drama queen who enjoys being a victim. I'm not sure she thought she would ever get quite this much attention … that it would get this far … but I do wonder what her point in writing the letter was to begin with if she wasn't somehow trying to make this about her.

What do they have to gain besides exposing Kavanaugh as a liar?

Attention, bringing down Trump's SCOTUS pick by attempting to sway public opinion of Judge Kavanaugh (whether he is guilty or not, which is not their concern), pursuing the liberal agenda to keep Trump from appointing any conservative to the court, etc., etc.

Again, when sworn testimony is given by this same "slew of people" then come back and post it. Until then it matters not one whit.

He said he never drank to excess, there's a slew of people who say he was a sloppy drunk.

A "slew of people" does not mean the same thing as "credible witnesses" ….. credible witnesses with no political agenda who are willing to testify under oath, under penalty of felony and tell the same story. When that happens, then come back with specifics--names, places, dates, how often, etc., etc., etc. And what is the definition of "sloppy drunk"? Who decides just how drunk "sloppy drunk" is and how many beers it takes to get there and did Judge Kavanaugh reach that limit? Anything else is just "somebody" making accusations or repeating "somebody else's" accusations in a continuing effort to smear this man, and they have nothing to lose and everything to gain by doing so.

Yes, they will. That's kind of the point of all this, isn't it? And when all is revealed, then and only then will we all know the t***h. I believe Judge Kavanaugh. Obviously you believe differently. But none of us is in a position to know with absolute certainty what will come of it.

And we can probably expect the same from Dr. Ford. My guess would be within the year she'll have a book out. Probably is already working on it now, with a little help from her (democrat) friends. She could use some of her "go fund me" money to help her get it published. She's probably hoping Judge Kavanaugh will be confirmed after all this because it might help her sell a few more books. And she can continue to wallow in her "victimhood." All the democrats are looking for is money and power, so she is in the right place at the right time. Maybe she'll remember it.

I totally agree!

Wow! Just wow! I have not always agreed with Senator Graham, but he usually tries to bring common sense to the table. In this case, he tells it like it really is, from someone on the inside, who knows exactly what is going on--a sham, and the democrats' shameful attempt to destroy a good man for the sake of political gain.
