Right on. Those who think about their perceived "judicial temperament" or any kind of non-assertive temperament as the "NORM" are themselves NOT NORMAL. How can Flake be worried about The Judges attitude when all of us Republicans are looking at "The Flake" temperament with total "double D" temperament (disdain and disgust). Flake is a sorry excuse for a conservative. Also, all anyone has to do when considering what is NOT A PROPER attitude is to look at the one displayed by the female Senator from Hawaii who SHOUTS OUT telling all men to "shut up" - which is a real "senatorial" attitude.

Just in; 10% upswing in Republican enthusiasm going into the midterms. Why is this important? Generally most midterms are notoriously bad e******ns for the people in power. We won, so we become complacent. It is the number one driving force in mid term turnout. The Republican v**ers, for various reasons have not been thrilled with having to go back and put a group of "milk toast" politicians back in power. The only reason they've been willing at all IMO is the Democrats are pseudo c*******ts, unhinged lying American disparaging pigs. Still Republican enthusiasm was not high; until this public lynching of the Kavanaugh family. Just today it was announced by the New York Times that the Serial rapist Judge Kavanaugh threw ice in college at a bar. Oh the humanity. The FBI has tried to uncover evidence (the Ice) of this terrorist act but the evidence, according to Democrats mysteriously disappeared.

Great post! The dems have shot themselves in the foot "big league." And we don't need to gather in large numbers to protest and "get in people's faces" in an attempt to intimidate, bully, and drown out anyone who dares to express an opposing opinion, which seems to be their strategy. All we have to do is get to the polls in large numbers. They'll never know what hit 'em. Just like in November 2016.

And that "ice" charge is hilarious. I was curious about that, too, because I thought Judge K liked beer .... no ice served with that in a bar ....

Regardless if the FBI had interviewed everyone in his yearbooks, everyone in Maryland.....heck, everyone in the USA and the rest of the world, it would not be enough for folks that do not want him to be seated. How do you know he lied? Were you in his circle of friends and can say with absolute certainty he blacked out, drank too excess, or was in that room to witness the attack. If so, why did you not come forward and reap your 15 minutes of fame.... perhaps you are saving your stories for the book you and Ms. Ford will write.

By the way, you really need to turn on your spell check, or lay off the wine yourself.

I do believe that the FBI will be investigating both the Judge and Ford as it should be done. Otherwise it would all be BS!!!!! Actually I think that the Democrats may have just made a Huge MISTAKE IN Demanding a furtherance of the investigation. HMMMM? Wouldnt it be something that after all of the Dems resistance it turns out that Ford was lieing the entire time? Then what would the do?

While we're at it, let's go after Feinstein and insist that she take a lie detector test over the leaking of the letter … and her staff … and the CA congresswoman and her staff … and the democrat planted lawyers who represented Ford? They could also insist that ford's lawyers undergo polygraphs for both the leaking of the letter and the failure to protect their client's wishes of anonymity by not informing her of the options she had for this hearing--options so graciously offered by Chairman Grassley to accommodate her.

When Feinstein was being questioned by Sen. Corker about the leaking of the letter, she looked over at him and emphatically repeated that she "did not leak this." I so desperately wanted Corker to say to her, "Well, then prove it, Diane! THat seems to be the rule of law here according to you democrats on this Committee--guilty until proven innocent. So let's begin an FBI investigation into you and your staff and see what pops up. We want proof." How about that? Fair is fair.

IMO, they will ask for more time. They will act like a week was not enough time to really get the job done. They plan to use "delay tactics". That's all they have and they will try extend this into the midterms as best they can. The Dems know they have an ounce of proof, evidence, or corroboration which makes this a very weak or practically non-existent case. They only hope is to try to extend this into the e******n cycle. If they powers at hand allow this to even come close to happening, we're in big trouble. If President Trump, who has bent over backwards, along with Grassley, don't call for a v**e in a week, you might as well wave the white f**g. https://www.dailywire.com/news/36521/shapiro-fox-news-heres-how-democrats-will-handle-james-barrett

… and we knew this was coming. The democrats were never going to be willing to accept an FBI investigation. And not one of them will ever v**e for this man. This was the latest step in their obstruct-and-delay plan that began the second Justice Kennedy announced his retirement. flake fell right into their hands. I don't even believe that his change of heart was due to the loudmouth women in the elevator as is being reported. flake is, finally, leaving office at the end of this term, and I believe he saw this as what might be his last opportunity to have his own "McCain moment." All eyes are on him as he takes center stage and throws the wrench in the works of Trump's agenda at the last second, siding with the dems. We should not be surprised. Now the dems still have their foot in the door thanks to this betrayal. It his my hope that this will backfire on the dems and provide enough cover to be sufficient for Collins and Murkowski to step up and do the right thing.

The Committee should tell the dems to "Shut up and step out" and then go ahead and confirm this man next week. Let the dems howl all they want--even attempt to impeach him. Good luck with that with no evidence. And then the good Judge should go after every single one of his accusers for defamation of character. My guess is that, if he is confirmed, the dems will drop ford and the others like a hot rock and will move on to their next devious plan to obstruct anything they can.

And, at the end of his term (coming soon), flake can exit "stage left" and say goodbye to all his friends on that side. The rest of us don't care. Just go.

I AM AGAINST THE WEAPONIZATION OF VICTIMHOOD. Believing unequivocally the woman is right every single time no matter what is giving women power to take out anyone in their path. That is not e******y. This radical position is not the answer to g****r discrimination and victims rights.

No one can even place Brett Kavanaugh and the Christine Ford IN THE SAME ROOM at a party that zero people recollect except for the woman making the accusations.

If every single woman must be believed every single time, we all know there will be circumstances by which someone will use this power for selfish reasons. It sets women back so far. This is not breaking the glass ceiling.

THIS IS NOT JUSTICE. THIS IS WRONG.

I just watched for the third time prosecutor Rachel Mitchell's questioning of Blasey Ford in its entirety. I paid close attention to Ford's responses to the questions. Somebody explain to me what is wrong with this picture.

Blasey Ford is accusing Kavanaugh of an assault that occurred 36 years ago. Initially, Mitchell focused on events of the alleged assault and Ford began many of her responses to these questions with, "I don't recall exactly . . . . .", "I can't remember if . . . . ", "I'm not sure about . . . . ." "I'll have to get back to you . . . . "

Later on Mitchell focused on events as recent as July this year, asking Ford questions about her communication with the Washington Post, referring to specific details about those contacts. Again, Ford responded with, "I don't remember exactly . . . .", "I don't recall if . . . ." "I'm not sure about . . . . ", " I don't know for sure . . . " and on she went.

Is this woman for real? Seems she has a dysfunctional memory. Something is wrong with this picture, anybody have any ideas?

I could speculate that perhaps her attorneys told her to preface her sentences with "disclaimers" like that so those statements would be less likely to come back and bite her if the situation ended up with more scrutiny--as it appears to be with the FBI investigation. If, for example, other witnesses came forward and disputed those details, with evidence, then those disclaimers could give her an out if it came down to being accused of lying under oath.

The thing I noticed about her testimony that I believe also speaks to coaching is that when she was asked about the "incident" itself, she continually said "Brett" did this or that. Like "Brett then put his hand over my mouth …" etc. Normally, a person would say "he" did this or that. It seems obvious that the goal was to give those listening a visual of "Brett" having done those things. May be splitting hairs, but it seemed pretty obvious to me that was the goal.

The plan was for the AZ prosecutor to ask all questions. But then the Republicans took over to softball Kavanaugh..

The AZ prosecutor is regarded as a great prosecutor--in a court of law. It became clear that she was not very effective in the job she was asked to perform in a Senate hearing. Not her fault, just out of her wheelhouse. So Republicans went to Plan B. Nothing wrong with that. Hell, the democrats had already torn through Plan D and were halfway through Plan E by that time, reduced to the embarrassing act of getting into questions about flatulence references and one student's symbol for the f-bomb in a high school yearbook. They were so desperate to find something--anything--that would lead to some sort of "gotcha" in these teenage writings, they just kept digging after they'd already hit bottom and had nowhere else to go. I was waiting for them to come up with requests for third grade report cards. Perhaps they just didn't have time to think of it.

Senator Graham used his time appropriately and effectively, as he had every right to do.
