Every time they do a check up, they find that between 2% and 5% at every polling place are violations (duplicates, dead people, fictional characters, pets, etc) but since checking people at the polling place is considered v**er intimidation, these people cannot be caught.

Because Eric Holder is supposed to protect them. I guess he was too distracted trying to save Harry Reid to save Ye.

Check donation records. Democrats get over 60% of their donations from big money groups and individuals while Republicans get more than 60% from small donors. The rich finance the Democrat party and the middle class fund the Republican party.

That is because the Republican party is the party of upward mobility and the Democrats are for creating a class system. That is why they pay the poor to stay poor and then give kick backs to the rich while the Republicans try to reduce needless rules designed to just keep the status quo.

Of course, Democrats are either to complacent to care to check this out or rich enough to know where their bread is buttered so they just accept and repeat wh**ever their fearless leaders tell them to.

Everytime a person posts using insults and derogatory comments, I read what they say and immediately want to support the opposite. Because if you really had a point, then you could make it without being insulting. And I do not want to be associated with a person who engages in kindergarten tactics.

What is a living wage? I know people who do live on minimum wage. They live with others on minimum wage and they don't have cable tv. The problem is that so many people I know who "can't make it" on what they are getting paid have cable tv and cell phones and several other things that are not required for "living". And they have their own homes (they rent apartments but they live with only their immediate family).

We have a standard of "living" that far outstrips the rest of the world that the poor live better than 95% of the rest of the world and somehow the fact that they don't live like the 1% is an affront to their dignity. The people on minimum wage that I know, do not apply themselves to their jobs. Those that do, quickly move on to better positions (never have I seen one in the same minimum wage position for more than 6 months after they are hired). The worse paid people I know who actually work hard for their money are soldiers.

First of all the maximum tax rate is so rarely paid as to be meaningless. The average rich person then paid less than 25% just like now. Tax rates are often raised to encourage investment in tax free govt bonds rather than corporations that are not tax free. Capital gains was separated from income tax so that congress could have even more control in motivating the direction of inverstment.

Inflation is a made up number. Every administration has changed how it is calculated. Sometimes food is included sometimes not. Sometimes gas is included sometimes not. Sometimes rent is more important, sometimes home prices are. And the last is important since people on social security usually own their home and other times they rent in a rent controlled area, so their bills are not as linked to inflation.

It isn't, 90% of farm subsidies go to agribusiness and not to small farmers so it is just corporate subsidies just like increasing inheritance tax lowers the price agribusiness pays for more land as the children of farmers are forced tro dump the land to pay the tax. That is why Monsanto and the like contribute so much to political campaigns. This is also why Obama has been cracking down on small farmers (esp organic ones) with extra regualtions. To get them to sell out to his donors.

If you object to the wage a business pays, you are free to boycott it, but why should anyone be free to tell someone else where they should work or what they should do with their money?
