Early Morning Observations for 6/1/16

Yesterday afternoon giant thunderheads casually glided across the sky. They looked like huge cotton balls, one even resembled a huge white teddy bear. Remember those simple times when you would look up and picture objects in the cloud formations? Yes, simple times, carefree times growing up. Do we provide those escapes for today's children? Do we provide those escapes for ourselves? If you want to stay young at heart, find those moments and escape into them.

Early each morning, Cindy and I take Bear for a walk. I stood there watching the cars breeze by, up on the highway. It does appear that today's Speed Limit signs are 'suggestions.' Charlie used to ask, "Why the rush?" I told him, "They are ten minutes late for work so they want to get there on time." Part of our fast paced life today. Ridiculous? Yes, but so many other things have become skewed to that point of ridiculous as well. Ridiculous appears to be the new norm.

Today, may each of you find a quiet time, a time to escape into some restorative revere of past pleasures. A time and place when happiness surrounded you. A remembrance of family gatherings, a light hearted time filled with warmth and laughter. May you also take time to talk to the Lord. Walk with Him and nourish your soul with the peace and comfort of His presence. This is a new day, make the most of it, enjoy it, and bring joy to others whenever possible. In Jesus name we ask. Amen

Amen! Trump may not be a saint, but in my opinion he's the best chance we have in turning this country around.

As for me, I am tired of being "equal". For what that means to me is no job, and always having my hands tied. Call it the "liberal recession" as I wait for the "conservative prosperity".

However, during the "liberal progressive recession" I managed to get my electrical engineering associate degree. So in spite of the liberal progressive recession, I have succeeded. However, I'd rather be free.

God grants freedom to all, so that e******y is not an issue. Was David equal to Goliath of Gath? Was Daniel equal to Babylon? Was John the Baptist equal to king Herod? Was Moses equal to Pharaoh ? The list goes on. In freedom these great men, brought forth an understanding of God and tore down the devil's brought upon fear, "e******y". God did create all men equally, such that the devil made us unequal, yet, God made that ine******y, a benefit towards freedom. To be free we must push beyond e******y.

For the past eight years after graduating the apprenticeship, and during the Obama administration, I went from employed to unemployed, now I'm unemployed with an electrical engineering degree. If Trump becomes president I know he will put my degree to work.

Is that, what we all want. We're we not waiting for God, to reach down into the pool of Americans and rise up for us, one who feels the same resentment for those who are detached from the public let alone reality?

Aren't the liberals celebrating the arrest of Jesus, like Herod did, dismissing Christ as a fool? Is not Herod's court like that of Obama's
Allowing all kinds of social sins, in this lawless land they created. And when Trump rose to the challenge did they not r**t at his rallies?

Let me end this with a line from Star Wars episode 3, "the return of the sith",

"....so this is how democracy falls, with thunderous applause." Senator Almada.
Amen! Trump may not be a saint, but in my opinion ... (show quote)

Excellent observations there Ranger7374 enjoyed and agreed with all.

Boy have I been missing out year round surfing similar to Hawaii but without all of the heat and bugs. Wow sleeping in a cabin in the middle of winter with no windows how invigorating that must be and one can only wonder how warm and muggy the water must be at that time of year as well. I probably could surf up there as I would be frozen to the board and I wouldn't be able to move. Nice one Don those guys have to have the smarts of dummy boy to go out in that weather and surf that is for sure.

Early Morning Observations for 5/31/16

Very early this morning, Bear and I went out on the deck. I was greeted with the light of a shimmering crescent moon. Wispy clouds hung around it, as to frame its beauty. Fireflies were flitting through the trees. As I sat there, appreciating the serenity of this early morning hour, a brilliant falling star soared across the sky. I made a wish. Do you remember, 'I wish I may, I wish I might, I wish I have the wish I wish tonight?' Seems like long ago and far away.

Off in the distance a dog was barking at some night creature. Wh**ever the creature was it was drawing the dog deeper into the woods, as I could hear the barking grow louder. The trees stood still, dark, and foreboding, hiding secrets of the night. I finished my coffee, and asked the Lord to be with me today, to guide and protect me. I asked Him to be with our Nation, to come back, to once again make it acceptable to pray and mention His name everywhere.

Last night I was reminded of the mysterious ways in which God works. I read these words, "Almighty God has used ordinary men (sometimes extremely flawed men) to accomplish His will." Is He using Trump* as His vehicle to restore America? I am reminded of King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel, he ends up helping the Israelites. In Daniel 4:3 he says: "How great are His signs, how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; His d******n endures from generation to generation."

King Nebuchadnezzar was a Babylonian King, an unlikely ally for Israel. Sometimes I feel fellow Americans are America's enemies. Maybe we need to examine ourselves, our hopes, our desires. "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." It is time to treasure our Christian Nation, and be in sincere prayer for the God of our fathers to return. That is my prayer for today. In Jesus name I ask. Amen

*Trump, I have not been a wild fan of his, he is a shrewd businessman, maybe he is the one to restore America. I don't know, but I trust God knows, and if we pray He will show us. That I will trust in.
