It is still a Democrat concept with the goal of disarming the public as a disarmed population is much easier to control. Just ask any dictatorship throughout history, it has ALWAYS been their first step.

I live in IL and of coarse I try to keep my finger on the pulse here in this democrat controlled state as to what is going on here. We just recently received permission from the state to have conceal carry which had to be forced on IL from the feds. I read recently read that the number of b****s being turned down is much higher than for the w****s. Especially the b****s that live in Chicago and other heavily democrat cities. These are the people that probably need conceal carry more than other communities especially with all of the drive by shootings in Chicago. Recently my daughter and grandsons stopped at what was then Cabela's in Cook County and I saw all of these ar-15 as well as handguns both revolver as well as semi automatic for sale and I questioned the clerk about this because of them being in Cook county. He asked me which county I lived in and he told me he could sell me anything in the store but if I lived in Cook county all of this is off limits to me or at least a good portion of it is. By the way Cook county is the county where the city of Chicago resides in.

I guess my preference would be Christian Schools first and then Home School by Christian Parents then Charter Schools and last would be the Public School system. We have to go out as christian parents and fight tooth and nail against the Muslim religion and having Islam taught in out schools. We also have to become more patriotic as well as learning the correct history and not the liberal version of history. Right now we have so many fights on so many fronts it almost seems insurmountable at times.
