All politicians have skeltons in their closets and all politicians lie. You can tell when a politician is lying because his lips are moving.

Ronald Reagan entertained the Taliban in the White House and called them Afghan freedom fighters.

Remember When Ronald Reagan Met With Taliban Leaders In The White House?

Not really Poco624, since Reagan was President from 1981 to 1989, and the Taliban was, by most accounts, formed in 1994, it just ain't so. In the 80's they were probably called the Mujahideen, and they were fighting the Russians (Dec. 1979- Feb. 1989). Calling those Afghans "Taliban" is a big stretch of the facts, or if we're really honest, a big lie.

Just take solace, donc711, in the fact that those politicians, and the President, who decided to give us limited care under the Obama Plan, won't be subject to Obamacare. They have a separate and "special" healthcare plan that will spend unlimited millions of taxpayer dollars on them as long as they have some brain activity.

First, let's stop using the euphemism of "single payer" instead of t***hfully saying the working "tax payer" pays for everybody's insurance. Then, let's be honest in saying that the highest users of the tax payer supported health insurance program will be the non-paying welfare crowd and the Medicare seniors. That's not a formula for saving money on healthcare insurance.

A good analogy would be to think of "grocery insurance" as a good idea, to insure that everyone has sufficient food. The tax payer would eat lightly and economically, while the non-paying (Its free, it doesn't cost anything, the government pays for it.) crowd would enjoy caviar, wine and lobster or steak, every day. Nothing seen as being "free" and unlimited will be used sparingly or properly.

I have a different take on the current gun control debate.

In January, 2011 representative Gabby Giffords was one of the victims of a mass-shooting event in Tucson, AZ. In the aftermath there was nary a word about gun control. In fact, the WH and MSM blamed Republican campaign rhetoric!

In July, 2012 there was a mass-shooting event in Aurora, CO. Again, in the aftermath, there were no calls for gun control from the WH.

In December, 2012 there was a mass-shooting event at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT. Suddenly, in the aftermath of this event, the WH is calling for gun control.

Why the difference?

If you remember prior to the p**********l e******n last November, a large number of Obama supporters took to Twitter and other social media threatening to r**t if Obama was not re-elected. These threats were mostly answered by conservatives to the effect of "Bring it on, we've been stockpiling guns and ammo for the last 4 years and we're ready for you."

This scared the "non-violent l*****ts" who are used to getting what they want through violence and threats of violence. Now they want to fix that.
I have a different take on the current gun control... (show quote)

I had already figured that one out also Voice, but was debating whether or not to mention it. The l*****t supporters saying that they'll do some r**ting, l**ting, burning, pillaging, and even murdering, in the case of a Republican victory, ... Obama has no problem with that. The conservatives saying "Bring it on, we'll defend ourselves," now Obama has a big problem with that!

Finally a gun is used to stop a crime instead of k*****g innocent people????? Really???? Obviously. you haven't read much about private gun ownership. It is estimated that guns possessed by private individuals, stop or prevent crimes between 800,000 and 2.5 million times a year. Its not "finally", but instead, ... "again, a gun stops a crime."
