And there is no way for republicans to stop the reverse of how they played dirty, which was to keep everything secret and selectively leak and say what they wanted to while dems could not respond with facts because the facts were classified.

If Whitaker tries to suppress and control the investigation, I can assure you Mueller knows how to legally leak. A little call to the house intelligence that there are things they need to know, questions they need to ask that Mueller can fill them in on. Let the GOP try to selectively leak, dems can declassify and set the record straight with the facts.

The part about blind ignorance I don't get is how the right chooses to believe and trust the side that can't be trusted, and won't pay attention to the signs that are there for everyone to see.

Government has to be open, it has to have t***sparency so as to be able to have accountability. The side that won't release information to the public is hiding something. The side that runs to the white house with secret inside information on an investigation that is pertinent to the president, is doing something that violates the rules as far as leaking details about the investigation that the president has no right or need to have. In fact the leaking of kind of information is criminal and should be prosecuted. I expect Nunes will be under investigation for that exact thing.

Mueller and dems can play an array of dirty games that there is nothing the GOP can do anything about, because they've been playing dirty enough that nothing dems do will be looked at as wrong...

...how about "secret" meetings with just dems, republicans not invited, to strategize about ways to play hardball with the GOP? Republicans did it.
...how about diplomatic meetings with key diplomats like the Saudi's or Russians? Republicans did it, envoys democrats were not asked to join, deals made.
...how about formally telling the president that acts of war, declaring war goes through them first, no unilateral open powers anymore, as required by law.
