Slow down and consider this under a clear mind. The article you posted was written by a group in New York City.... far from the border, and far from the people they accuse. They are using a facebook account, that could have been opened by anyone.... not necessarily border patrol. And consider this, there has been no investigation into whether the bad actor(s) is/are border agents or even if any border agents participate in that facebook account. People on social media are rarely who or what they say they are. Here, for example, OPP says it has over 20,000 member (or did before the format changed), there are a few on OPP has made horrible remarks..... and a few in older days threatened other people to include encouraging assassination of the President and one person actually posted home addresses, inviting others to "take care" of the person. Do all of us engage in horrible joke telling, posting nude photos, or even engaging in threats? No. I think you would agree that the vast majority of the people on OPP are not aggressive or intentionally mean spirited. What if someone said you and Whole2Th, Rowland, or Kyven think the same?
Border agents are constantly monitored.... to include their social media accounts. And when they seem to be crossing the line, these men and woman are taken "off line" in the jobs, thoroughly investigated, disciplined if they are found doing the wrong thing. Sure there are some who are not right, some that grow battle fatigued, and some who say things they should not...... But, is that not true of all groups of employees or even social media groups?
I am for giving real investigators an opportunity to get to the bottom of this instead of looking negatively at all agents.

Because of the current political climate... I think they would actually do MORE damage control where socialist liberals are bangin at the door and that any "bad apples" would be dealt with promptly.. I can see where it would be in the Best interests of the BP to make this so.. so they are above reproach. I don't necessarily think the BP agent should be fired unless what he did was very bad...action wise.. what they say and do needs to be monitored but w/out infringing on their 1rst ammendment rights!.. take them off duty or put them somewhere else.. t***sfer.. unless what they did or said was heinous. then by all means get rid of them. This is and has always been a "hot botton topic".. But these i******s are criminals in that they broke the law by trying to cross illegally into our country.. the BP agents are trying to do their jobs meanwhile trying to stay humane.. but I feel they are over taxed and need the national guard's assistance in this, because it is a humanitarian crisis.. that has been tossed in OUR Laps to deal with, Any country that these people are from need to be advised of reprecussions by continuing to let their people come across illegally.. and then we come to the Actual refugees.. ligitamate people needing asylum.. I'd say that is a job for More than just the border patrol. maybe Homeland security should be in on this too with vetting some of these folks.. Just a thought
