You guys really have nothing to say, which is why this thread is primarily name calling toward the Democrats. What is it that Biden has done to bring on such ire? And if you were President what would you do to make life better for the average American? Be specific, please. I suspect that I will be called some names. That seems to be all you've got. What have the Democrats done for us? Let's see, Social Security, Medicare, 40 hour work week, time and a half, paid vacations, sick leave, and a strong middle class. And thousands of billionaires. And the demise of the middle class, closer and closer to a two class third world society.
Are you old enough to remember the 50's and 60's? The typical American family (admittedly mostly white) had one income which provided the family with a house in the suburbs, a car, college for the two children and a pension, which provided a comfortable retirement. Some 40% of the workforce was unionized. Life was good for most Americans. Maybe a small handful of billionaires. Eisenhower was President. You remember Ike? Today you would call him a RINO. And then came Ronald Reagan.

The last two Republican Presidents lost the popular v**e. The majority of v**ers belong to the Democratic party, and most of them are under 40 years old, while most Republicans are much older. The Republican party is getting smaller every year, and for good reason. Most of them supported the Reagan, Bush and Trump tax cuts, which was against their own economic interests. Multi-millionaires became billionaires, billionaires became multi-billionaires, while the good ole boys got a check for a few hundred dollars, with more trillions in debt.

If what you say were true than I would have to agree,but throwing around a bunch of astronomical numbers is not helpful. The Keystone Pipeline did not create "tens of thousands" of jobs: A few hundred temporary jobs. Once the pipeline is completed it there would be 35 permanent jobs.

Perhaps you need a little educating:
The Keystone pipeline serves no purpose that benefits the American people. The Keystone provides t***sportation for the very expensive oil from Alberta to the the Gulf coast where it is refined and sold to the highest bidder, usually China. The tar sands oil is the most expensive in the world as it's very dirty and is costly to clean. The keystone plays no role in determining the price of gasoline in the United States. Refined oil, such as gasoline, is the United States' largest export. How is that for an education?

ok, maybe I'm ignorant, or more accurately behind the times. I know (or knew) a little about an M16 as I qualified as an expert in 1967. It's possible that the AR 15 has changed but at that time the only difference was the switch on the M16 that could be used to switch between automatic and semi automatic. I've always thought of them as pretty much the same as soldiers rarely use the automatic feature on the M16, as it wastes a lot of ammo. At that time the M16 tended to jam when you filled the 20 round magazine to capacity. There was a rock and roll station in Saigon that carried the government ad "be keen with sixteen", advising soldiers to fill the magazine with only 16 rounds, as 20 rounds would cause it to jam. I assume that has been fixed. Both weapons are accurate and very easy to use.

Right, it was not an AR15. A pistol is preferred because it's easy to conceal. You make a good argument to outlaw concealed weapons. I think that would satisfy most liberals. But why would anybody want an AR 15? Its purpose is to k**l people. That's what they do in the military. Why would anybody else want to do that?
