Once upon a time, a powerful Emperor of the Rising Sun advertised for a new Chief Samurai.

After a year, only three applied for the job: a Japanese, a Chinese and a Jewish Samurai.

The Jewish samurai, Yoku Cohen, stepped forward, opened a tiny box releasing one fly, drew his samurai sword and *Swoosh!* flourished his sword mightily, but the fly was still buzzing around!

In disappointment, the Emperor said, "What kind of sk**l is that?? The fly isn't even dead."

"Dead," replied Cohen in contempt. "Dead is easy. Now circumcision, that takes real sk**l."

More than ever in the history of the United Stares, American’s must be able to differentiate between honest journalism and biased propaganda. Honest jounalism is where news organization allow all sides of a broad spectrum of issues to be presented and allow the viewer to decide for themselves the best possible solution. Biased propaganda is where a news agency provides one side of an issue, brings in contributors who only support the one side in an effort to influence viewers to accept their solution to the presented ssues. The only time I watch the MSM (CNN, MSNBC especially Rachel Mad-Cow)is for theater, like watching a fictional sit-com, a comedy, keystone cop or a Bean movie.

New law: You snooze, you lose ... your car

New snooze-you-lose ordinance allows cops to conduct warrantless searches, seize vehicles

If you’re driving through Virginia, you don’t dare think about catching a few winks in your car if you get tired.

That’s the warning from the civil rights experts at the Rutherford Institute, who say a new Roanoke County ordinance allows police to do warrantless searches and seizures on vehicles and their drivers.

If they’re taking a nap.

The Roanoke County Code 13-14 “makes it illegal for people to sleep in their cars and subjects them to warrantless seizures and searches by police and a fine of $250,” Rutherford President John Whitehead explains.

He is asking officials, in a letter, to repeal the new law.

Whitehead calls the plan a “thinly veiled attempt to crack down on the area’s homeless population that is “constitutionally vague” and “overly broad.”

“Not only does this ban on sleeping in cars subject the area homeless population to heightened legal peril, but by its plain terms, this law also gives police broad enforcement powers that can be abused to violate the rights and privacy of all citizens,” he writes.

“By criminalizing common activity that is wholly innocent, this ordinance gives police an additional basis for conducting arbitrary and pretextual seizures and searches of citizens and their vehicles. It threatens not only the homeless, but also law-abiding citizens guilty of nothing more than fatigue while driving,” he says.

Whitehead argues the problem isn’t widespread.

County officials said they were concerned that the use of automobiles for sleeping “can have a negative effect on neighborhood aesthetics.”

In its letter to the county, Rutherford explains that courts nationwide have found similar ordinances to be invalid, arguing they are unduly vague and an arbitrary exercise of government power.

“For example, an Alabama appeals court struck down an ordinance forbidding sleeping in a car on a public street because it left to police the unfettered discretion of whether the conduct of the person cited was lawful or unlawful,” Rutherford says. “Similarly, a Florida appeals court found an ordinance making it unlawful for a person to ‘lodge or sleep in or about, any automobile or truck’ to be overbroad by criminalizing conduct that does not impinge upon the rights of others.”

Whitehead warns the county it has opened itself “to legal jeopardy.”

“Not only do the board’s actions subject the area homeless population to heightened legal peril … but by its plain terms, this new law can also be applied to any person law enforcement officials believe is sleeping in a vehicle. Interpreted broadly, this would apply to even the weary traveler who seeking a few minutes of rest in order to continue on their journey safely.”

The letter says, “It would be in the best interests of the residents and taxpayers of Roanoke County and other impacted parties for the board to repeal [the law].”

The county warned against sleeping in cars during winter months because of the safety risks.

But Rutherford contends it is “wholly unclear how it is safer for a person who is homeless and unable to afford a hotel or other lodging to sleep outdoors during the winter months.”

“Police who encounter a citizen that is merely napping will now have cause to seize that person and cite him for violating the ordinance. This is turn will allow the officer to demand the person exist the car, submit to a full search of his person and to a full search of the car and any containers in the passenger compartment.

“It threatens not only the homeless, but also law-abiding citizens guilty of nothing more than fatigue while driving.”

I would like to point out that 'willful ignorance' can also be a defensive mechanism.... Many individuals have chosen to associate themselves with a certain community or ideology, and breaking from the perceived 'understanding' would inevitably result in alienation...
Few individuals are willing to take such a drastic action... Even if they are presented with facts that completely contradict their stances..

I wrote the bestselling business book, “The Power of Relentless” four years ago. After a lifetime of studying business leaders, I concluded that being “relentless” is the number one trait that leads to success. And I named Donald J. Trump as the most relentless human being in modern history. Soon after, Trump was elected president- against all odds.
Don’t look now, but President Trump is proving it all over again. As I write this column, we’ve just experienced the greatest week in the history of the relentless Donald J. Trump.
First, of course, President Trump was exonerated and vindicated after the most corrupt h**x in the history of US politics. There never was “Russian Collusion.” Even Robert Mueller- a Trump h**er, with a team of vicious Democrat-donor prosecutors- had to admit that. And as brilliant Attorney General William Barr explained, without “collusion” there can’t be obstruction of justice.
Trump wins- again. That’s relentless!
Poor, poor liberals. Two years, $27 million dollars, hundreds of witnesses and subpoenas, and thousands of hours of obsession by Mueller and the liberal media- and all they got was a crummy T-shirt!
But then it got better. Way better.
On Monday, the Department of Justice announced that Obamacare is unconstitutional and the entire Affordable Care Act should be struck down. DOJ lawyers are arguing for an end to Obamacare at this very moment in front of a federal appeals court. You didn’t see that one coming, did you? That’s “Trump relentless.”
Next, the Pentagon notified Congress that it had authorized the first billion dollars for Trump to build his wall. This first billion will be used to build 57-miles of new wall/fencing along the Yuma and El Paso sections of the border. Construction will begin immediately. But didn’t liberals claim Trump would never build his wall? “That’s Trump relentless.”
This funding is just the start of the release of military funds from Trump’s Emergency Order. You know, the one this columnist first recommended to President Trump back in November. What an honor to be a part of history. Trump taught me how to be relentless.
Finally, Trump has announced he’ll sign a new Executive Order to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights- a strip of land central to Israel’s security. Trump loves Israel. He just cemented his legacy as the greatest US president ever to the Jewish people. Contrast this to nine Democrat p**********l candidates boycotting AIPAC this week.
Trump has single-handedly changed the dynamic between Jews and the Democrat Party. That’s “Trump relentless.”
Now there is one thing left to do…
It’s time to relentlessly demand justice.
It’s time to play the Democrat’s game. If it’s good for the goose, it’s good for the gander. Attorney General Barr must name “Special Counselors” to investigate the endless scandals of the Democrats. It’s time to investigate Russiagate, Spygate, the Dossier/FISA scandal, the unmasking scandal, and the corrupt FBI and DOJ officials who perpetrated this h**x on the American people. But why stop there?
Name “Special Counselors” to investigate Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, the Uranium One deal, and the Obama IRS scandal. It’s time for Hillary, Obama, Comey, McCabe, Lynch, Brennan, Clapper, Rhodes and so many others to pay for their awful crimes.
It’s time to turn the h****rs into the hunted…

Dear Sens. Gillibrand, Harris, Schumer, Booker, Cummings, Schiff, Rep. Pelosi, Mr, O'Rourke etal. How can you demand the full report being made public? So you can read it? You hand-picked the special prosecutor, he loaded his staff with Dems. Now you don't believe him. Why would you want to spend the time to read this large document, 3 times the size of Obamacare which you passed without reading it? How about we get back to the jobs you were elected to do, represent us, which you have totally ignored for past two years.
