Ah, yes, scenes from the movie "Downfall" (Der Untergang). German producer, German director and mostly German actors. Bruno Ganz in the role of Hitler, Juliane Köhler as Eva Braun, Alexandra Maria Lara as Traudl Junge. The actors were superb.
As Magda Goebbels, Corinna Harfouch played probably the most chilling role of all. The episode in which she poisons her six children is gut wrenching.
The movie is based on the account of Hitler's last days in the Berlin bunker by his only surviving secretary Traudl Junge. The elderly Ms Junge introduces the movie at the beginning. The language is German, however, even with English subtitles, the movie is well worth seeing.
