I have traveled all over the globe, and I know many northern places and southern places, as well as international places, that I very much enjoy. There were bad and good, but I would never bash the entire place due to the bad I had seen or merely heard or read about.

Here's a little more info for you:
Ten states most dependent on the fed gov and the fed funding as a percentage of state revenue:
1). Mississippi. 45.8%
2). New Mexico. 37.9%
3). Alabama. 37%
4). Louisiana. 44.3%
5). Maine. 36.6%
6). Montana. 38.5%
7). Tennessee. 41.3%
8). W. Virginia. 35.5%
9). S. Dakota. 41.5%
10). Arizona. 39.4%
Its important to remember there are a lot of ingredients that go into these equations, far to many to mention, and some of these i***ts that are posting about these numbers reflecting on the South know this and unfortunately some dont have a clue they just want to spew their BS. Anyone with any intelligence knows that numbers and stats can be skewed and dont always reflect the correct outcome, point being there are States listed here that are clearly not considered the South, so obviously it's not only the South that is, in their opinion, "bringing the other States down" somehow, as they always do, they forgot to mention that, another very important ingredient they, as usual, forgot to mention is the fact that a percentage of the assistance these states are getting is to the people who are on welfare, foodstamps, etc and are probably all v****g democrats. Hope this will help and dont pay to much attention to the BS these i***ts spew.
